The Arizona experience After a long night we swung by here to grab breakfast and this, this was the Arizona experience. Food isn't mind blowing but for Less than $14; - 2 eggs - pancake - sausage - hash brown That's a good deal. And staff are super welcoming! Although I didn't eat more than 1/3 of it, it was a good experience! Good didn't take long to come out. Plus it feels like real diner experience from back in the day

Staff was attentive, good was delicious. Location was clean and the staff worked well together. We were here between lunch and dinner so they were restocking to get ready for the dinner rush.

Pretty darn good looking plate!

Very unsettling experience tonight. Employees acted like it was an anything goes environment with little regard for basic standards of behavior and service. The majority of my meal there was loud irritating rap blaring from an employee cell phone. Employees were openly consuming open beverages in cooking area. Loud discussion of stripper industry and drug dealing by waitress for entire meal was the only thing I heard for a good twenty minutes. I was never asked if I needed anything, including a refill. **Permission was given to bring dog in, that I was forced to be extremely close to as I was leaving cramped entry area, and it was a very substantial pit bull.** As I exited guy was smoking right into front door, impossible to avoid and I am allergic to it. Lot of liability being taken on my WH at this location, and I have zero desire to go back. I've gone to Waffle Houses my entire life and tonight was a shameful nightmare of an experience. 20 dollars for a sandwich drink and hashbrowns is bad enough. Paying for it under beyond unacceptable conditions - disgusting.

a breakfast of eggs, hash browns, and waffles

This Waffle House delivers exactly what we're missing about Waffle House back east. Folks are friendly, fast, and the food is inconsistent. You don't come here for a fancy breakfast scene with plush booths, etc. This is the perfect spot for an affordable breakfast delivered rapidly. They have raised prices recently, but we're still able to split an all star special no problem.

The restaurant is attached to The Gamer's Guild game store, so we had fun shopping there first. The store has a huge selection of every game imaginable plus dozens of tables, free to play. They have an optional membership fee, which gets you discounts at various levels. We then traipsed over to the restaurant area for lunch/dinner. My daughter has celiac disease and the establishment was very sensitive to food allergies. They also supported neuro-diversity, which was great for my grandson. They also had several TV's going, kids menu games and a game library for free. My daughter got a Twisted Turkey Club, my granddaughter got kids Chicken Fingers and I got a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. All the orders came with fries. My grandson didn't eat. My daughter raved about her gluten free meal and my granddaughter just put her head down and plowed through her lunch. My sandwich was pretty good. I got the step-child of chicken pieces: it was pretty small. It still tasted fine and the regular fries were killer. The side sauces were legit as well. I recommend the bleu cheese and Gil's Buffalo sauce. We will visit again soon.

Would not recommend their pizza, it was sauce less, overcooked, and dry. Their burger was great, full of flavor and juicy but side of fries were luke-warm. A lot of room for improvement here and hopefully they get it together because it's a pretty cool spot to hang out and play board games.

This location in Chandler is huge with both inside and outside seating for a very comfortable experience. They also feature live music with local And some traveling artists. To give credit where it's due, the ambience of the restaurant was great. The live music was enjoyable and the dancing created a fun atmosphere. The women's restroom was also impressive -- clean, well stocked, and the mirror with the neon sign made for a great photo moment. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the setting. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and, at times, came across as outright rude. I understand the pressures of working in a busy restaurant, but hospitality is still the foundation of the service industry. I actually found myself going out of my way to "kill her with kindness" just to avoid receiving the same snarky tone she used with some of my friends. It worked -- she was civil with me -- but it shouldn't take that level of effort from guests. The food was where things really fell apart. The buffet setup was poorly executed. The foil buffet pans repeatedly slipped into the chafing water, which ended up soaking the food. Any experienced food service professional knows the proper way to handle this: bring the replacement pan first and swap them out simultaneously. Instead, the staff removed the empty pans and walked back to the kitchen, leaving empty slots in the buffet while guests waited. As a result, several dishes were compromised. The mac and cheese was completely runny, clearly diluted from water getting into the pan. This happened to multiple items. The fried pickles were also a miss -- not crispy, extremely salty and sour, and tasted like low-quality hamburger dill pickle chips that had been breaded and fried. No one at our table enjoyed them and several people commented that they were far too tangy. There also seemed to be serious communication issues between the kitchen and the floor staff. Buffet items were frequently empty and slow to be replaced. The "salad," if you could call it that, was essentially a bowl of lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers, or vegetables -- just plain greens. Toward the end of service, the restaurant even ran out of dinner plates, leaving remaining guests to use small salad plates. The only items I somewhat enjoyed were the margarita pizza flatbread and the bacon jalapeño wontons, which were decent but nothing memorable. Beyond that, my meal consisted mostly of a bowl of very uninspired lettuce. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, it genuinely pains me to leave such a critical review. I don't write this out of spite, but out of hope that management sees it as an opportunity to evaluate what's happening on the floor and in the kitchen. There is clearly potential here given the atmosphere and entertainment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.
