My Husband just left this location and they and by the time he got home they got his order wrong. Instead of hashbrowns, they gave him grits, and instead of white toast, they gave him raisin toast. The service has really decreased and we will not being going back to that location. read more

I come to this Waffle House often, see most of the same people but today the older lady, JILL was so rude. Like it absolutely blew my mind at how someone can be so rude and nasty yet still smiling. I would absolutely recommend not going here if Jill is working. She started my day off with a bad taste in my mouth. She was mad I had to unlock my card before paying and walked away from the register as i was unlocking my card. Then, when I was ready she told me I would have to wait, and proceeded to tell me that my food wouldn't be made until i could pay. (as if i wasnt going to pay) Which is also wild due to the fact that every other time that I go, they make my to-go order first THEN cash me out... Girl cook with red hair started going off about how we "pissed her off" immediately after we walked in the door. We didn't say a word to her. She said there's a burger joint next door and we should go there instead. This waffle house was me and my boyfriend's place to go after work cause we work late nights in the service industry. This was extremely upsetting and I don't ever wanna go back. She made us feel horrible and uncomfortable. We got up and left after trying to sit down to order. So my daughter loves all waffle houses. I was never that impressed. But that said, this place was awesome. The service was fast and the server was helpful and attentive. The food was perfect. Everything was hot, cooked as ordered, hot and delicious. My over medium eggs were exactly right. Waffles were yummy. Hash browns cooked to tender inside and crispy outside. They grilled the ham before putting it in the omelet someone else ordered. Real attention to detail. I'm shocked. You can get food that is good, fast and cheap. My wife and I went to this Waffle House on a Thursday night at around 6pm, it was just us, the workers, and some soul music. We were greeted with the best service I've ever received at a Waffle House, Kaurtney was extremely polite and accommodating to our orders. Our food came quickly and was the typical quality you would expect from a Waffle House. This Waffle House was particularly clean, usually you can feel a slight grime when you enter these restaurants but every surface felt clean and it smelled like the whole place had just been wiped down. There was a small issue with the check before we left where we got charged $6 more dollars than we were supposed to. Was told we couldn't sit at a table together because we had over 6 people even though the other tables around us had more people. Our server was rude and unapologetic. I understand being frustrated or having a bad day but it's really not your guest problem. After she made us split out party, we were harassed by security and had issues getting our food out. As a server, I personally know some things are out of your control but you can handle it better. But the food was great and will always come back for that matter. This was such a good Waffle House! It was fairly clean for a Waffle House, excellent service (except for a minor mess up on prices on our ticket), and our food was exactly how it should have been. Our server was super accommodating to my specific order of half blueberry half chocolate chip waffle and was so nice and polite. She charged us for two egg meals instead of just two eggs but had no problem and no attitude to adjust her mistake. Our food was great and I actually cleared my plate at a Waffle House for once. Our table was nice and clean/wiped off and all the workers were nice to us. I travel quite a bit and have always seen the Iconic yellow Waffle House sign but have never found myself eating here that was until recently during Halloween weekend..... Best waffle house ever, went at 3 am and it was packed from all those late night people that really need something good to soak up all the alcohol in their body. Or they just really ike breakfast at 3am, or are going to work for some ungodly reason... While in this restaurant to eat, I overhead a customer complaining about hair in their food. As I was eating, I discovered hair in my food also. When I told our server she was horrified. I could not continue to eat and she took my food away. While my boyfriend continued to eat, I saw a long red hair in his food! I told the server about this too and she asked where it could come from. I pointed out that the cook had a red mustache. The cook heard what I was saying and just laughed! They did comp our whole meal, but I will not be eating there again! read more

What an awful experience. I have been here several times and it has been adequate, but the waitress this time was the worst. She charged me separately for a grand slam minus the eggs... she could have cooked them and thrown them in the garbage and I would have saved $3. How ridiculous. I didn't even realize one item was missing until I was well on the road. Due to the higher price, I though the last item has been added. When I called to get my charge corrected is when she said she didn't even ring the other item in. The cook was the only saving grace who offered to give me the missing item if I came back. I have lived in the Pensacola area for a year, and visited this Waffle House on 7-8 occasions. More often that not, I have left disappointed. This location is always short staffed, even by today's "every place is short staffed" standards. Because of this, service is always horridly slow--though usually through no fault of the cook/waiter. The right side of the restaurant nearest the restroom smells like raw sewage every time I go; meaning there are three larger tables that are virtually unusable. The last straw and genesis of this review was my experience there today. Went in at 2 p.m., with no one else in the restaurant. After receiving our drinks, the waitress took my wife's order, but somehow had "something come up" before taking mine. She left, while another couple entered and sat. She got their drinks, took their order, and literally ignored us for reasons I cannot comprehend. To top it off, my wife's drink was severely watered down and had coffee grinds in it. First time i've ever flat walked out of a place, and last time i'll ever visit this location. read more
