From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family. The staff is super welcoming, talkative in the best way, and make you feel right at home. They actually take the time to have real conversations with you, not just rush you in and out. At the same time, they're very straightforward and on top of everything, which we appreciated. The food was also surprisingly some of the best we had all trip. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how we wanted it every single time we visited. Not once did we have a bad experience--whether it was the cooks, waiters, or waitresses, everyone was consistently great. On top of all that, the prices are amazing, especially for the quality of food and service you're getting. We definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Today was my very first Waffle House experience, and I have to say; it lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, maybe 20 tables plus spots at the bar, but it was buzzing with energy. About ten employees were working in perfect sync, making the place feel like a hive of activity. We ordered three regular waffles and one pecan waffle (because, really, how can you go to Waffle House and not get waffles?). The waffles were hot, fluffy, and exactly what you'd hope for. The real standout, though, was the hashbrowns; covered and smothered style. Absolutely fantastic. I also grabbed a biscuit and a slice of ham, both served hot and fresh. Service here is short and to the point--no frills, no chit-chat, just efficient and accurate. Honestly, I appreciated that. I think this is the best Waffle House we have been to. The food was delicious as always. The waffles weee fluffy, eggs were done to my liking the first time (over easy), the biscuit was flaky, my partner's bacon was very crunchy as requested, the grits had soooome lumps but not enough for me to complain. Food is not an issue at all. The service was magnificent. We went two days in a row. When entering we were greeted cheerfully, we were attended by a guy who took our names and had us wait. We didn't wait long (for reference we went twice in a row) when we were sat down. First day we got Lina and she was efficient, quick, and helpful. I only had to ask for things once and they were done in seconds. She had a gold personality and attended her tables the same way. Second day, we got another server but Lina still did me the favor or checking in and charging my phone. I tipped Alina $10 and the other server as well the next day. The ambiance was great. Obviously don't expect a WH to be quiet with classical music. The ambience is fast quick and loudish which is fine by me. My partner and I worked in the food service industry for years and we applauded their efficiency. First, everything is clean. Clean clean clean. Next, everyone was efficient, fast, and friendly to each other and treated customer right. Finally, their system was top notch. They had a tall white guy who was leading the food line, someone was on eggs, someone was on hash brown and meat, someone else was on veggies, cheese, and bread. Well, I was on that side of town by downtown Disney and I wanted a hot fresh waffle so I stopped in this location and it was very very loud in there and I have headaches and the man that was washing the dishes and putting them away he was just slamming the dishes so loud that I couldn't enjoy my breakfast. I had to have my server give me a to go container to take my food out my server. I was seated right away, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. My food came out super fast and fresh, and everything tasted amazing. This place tasted great, good value, and good portions. Grits, something we don't get served regularly on the west coast, is an acquired item. But being Asian, I'm use to the Congee/porridge type of food, and not quite oatmeal. It paired well with the other saltier or sweeter items on the menu. Hashbrown cooked well, eggs over easy done right. Food is cooked quickly and their famous waffles was good. Tried the Blueberry and Pecan versions, and if the waffles are too crispy/not the texture you like, just let the server know. Be sure to ask how the grits are that day, they'll be honest with ya on what the quality is like. The place isn't 'super' clean, and it's not 4 star dining, but that's not why you come here for. Delicious hash browns--available with onions, mushrooms, cheese, ham, tomatoes, jalapeños, and more. I classify this as a breakfast place, but they offer lunch and dinner options as well. Eggs. This location looked much like most Waffle Houses, small and greasy. The restroom was clean. We were the only patrons so our food came out pretty fast. This place was not at all what I expected. When we walked inside at 10AM, our ears were immediately attacked by BLARING music. It was extremely jarring and almost unbearable. We then sat in an uncomfortable and sticky booth. We had to ask twice to get the table wiped down. I ended up ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich, hashbrowns with ham, and a chocolate chip waffle. The biscuit sandwich was pretty good even though the biscuit was a little bland. It was still light and crumbly, which I loved. The hashbrowns were for sure the highlight of the meal--perfectly salted and not too greasy! The waffle was a huge letdown. It's so consistent, you get to see that it's a team. I like the seats right next to the kitchen but honestly not a bad seat in the house. My go-to is the hash browns topped with everything. Service was fast and staff was friendly, however the second day we went, we got styrofoam cups and plastic utensils which we thought was strange. Waffle tasted okay but the texture was not my favorite because it was very soft. Hashbrowns are nice crispy but we paid extra for mushrooms and grilled onions and they barely put any. On 9/14/25 at approximately 1:00 AM, a group of about 15 of us visited Waffle House store #508 after our regular Saturday night trail ride. Stephanie was our server. Rather than taking everyone's order at once, she took each family's order individually and waited for their food to be prepared and served before moving on to the next. After 45 minutes had passed, my husband and I still had not placed our order, even though everyone else in our party had already received and eaten their meals. I asked to speak with a manager, but Stephanie informed me that no manager was present and instead sent over the cook, Richard. When I expressed our concerns, Richard raised his voice and snapped, "Can't you see we're busy? Be patient!" He then returned to the grill and began loudly yelling across the restaurant, saying, "My name is Richard if you need it, with store #508, but make sure you say it right. Do you even know how to spell Richard?" He continued ranting in front of everyone, including other patrons not in our party. To be clear, the restaurant was not overly busy, our group and three other customers at the bar were the only ones present. Every member of our party had finished their meal before my husband and I were even given the chance to order. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed the negative reputation that Waffle House has developed over the years. When employees speak to paying customers with such hostility and unprofessionalism, it reflects poorly not just on the location but on the brand as a whole. It's disappointing, especially because we've been loyal customers of this location, visiting every Saturday night. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try. read more
