Worst experience I have ever had at Waffle House!!! The staff all acted like it was their first day, food was cold and was charged for stuff they were out of, the lady I'm guessing won the intelligence contest and was deemed the manager was watching videos, very loudly, on her phone and couldn't be bothered enough to pay attention when we were paying for our food. We gave her two bills and exact change and she handed us our change as if we didn't have exact change, so on top of being charged for stuff they were out of she still shorted us at the register. Maybe because her video was more important and playing to loud for her to focus on her job enough to do it correctly. Oh and don't even try to call the phone number because all it does is direct you to the website to place an order, no other options are available. The website leads you to believe you can voice a complaint but it shuts you down as well. The steak and eggs is no longer a T-bone it is now a poor excuse for a New York strip, like maybe a 1/16 in thick. just a heads up in case you were considering eating here!!! read more

Did a road trip cross country and passed dozens of these places - so my buddy and I said lets try this out! We were pleasantly surprised by the greatness of this place . I got a breakfast burrito and it was well crafted. It was lightly toasted and evenly fill with the goodies. We also had the waffles and they were fluffy with the light chewiness. In my eyes done to perfection. I am not a waffle guy so I cant give them more stars. Staff at this spot were great. They checked up on us all the time. On our way out of town we needed something quick to eat and settled on the waffle house. I have seen these around town and figured it was comparable to an ihop. The items here are much cheaper quality and just not as good as other choices. I ordered the super breakfast, I could be making the name up but it is the option that comes with eggs, brkfst meat and waffles. The plate comes with plenty of food and we were able to share btw 2 people. However, it was not the best quality. If you are on the road for awhile then this is a good option but this is not a place you should seek out for a good breakfast. read more

Oh waffle house... the memories I have of eating your scrumptious breakfast platters when having those late night munchies in the wee morning hours. Waffle House is open 24/7, 365 days a year... [unless there is a hurricane of course] and serves a wide array of breafast items, and even burgers, steaks, etc. at all times. Hasbrowns can be: scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, topped, or all the way. DELISH! 3 stars because each and every visit to the waffle house is a unique experience and a coin toss. The coffee, food and service are always great here! We had fried egg sandwiches with crispy bacon. Then, we added a waffle, which was awesome, with some syrup & butter! The presentation wasn't quite up to par this time, but it sure didn't hurt the taste! I like that this is one of the few places you can smoke. Get to sit back after enjoying a good meal! Watched a guy make my food without gloves on. He grabbed raw bacon with his hands and proceeded to touch EVERYTHING else that I ordered. Plus looked like everyone's family was there smoking it up while I tried to eat...... I don't expect much cleanliness when I hit up a Waffle House, but this was pretty extreme even for them. read more

Yelp this place before eating here. Waffle House is cheap but your not a true southerner if you do not visit a Waffle House from time to time. I am going to have to detox with a large coffee and a beignet in the morning. Service is friendly, and it appears clean, but the food was some nasty sh-- grits!! If you want to get in touch with your southern root watch the tv show "Heat of the Night" and drink a glass of lemonade avoid this Waffle House at all cost. Now I am sick as a dog!! This was our first and last visit here. The whole place was filthy and bathrooms were disgusting! The cooks were handling people's food without gloves, and the waitress had a cold and kept dabbing at her nose with a Kleenex while still serving food. Was very disappointed with service and food. Workers were so loud talking about personal stuff. One was asking the others who had stinky breath and said whoever wasn't chewing gum was the one with stinky breath. One worker sat down to cut up lemons and got up to give a coworker change out of her purse then went back and on the way picked up napkins off the floor and threw them in trash and went back to cutting lemons without ever washing her hands! They were cursing entire time we ate. My food was very salty, I couldn't eat it. We didn't complain, just paid our bill and left. read more
