This is the Good Waffle House in Naples. To be completely honest, Waffle Houses scare me and we went here because it was one of the few places that was open late. That being said, I'm looking forward to going here over iHop or Perkins next time I want to eat late in Naples. The crew was so cheery and my food was perfect. Grits were not watery, we got our food really fast, the waffles were perfect and the grilled cheese was great comfort food. Nothing gourmet, just simple dishes done very well. It is just as clean/dirty as any other Waffle House but the service from Matt, AJ and the Fauzi (?), the cook was such a treat (esp for a 12am weekend dining experience). Really swell, upbeat staff, and the most memorably good waffles I've had at a Waffle House. The staff (mostly Matt) makes being there very enjoyable. Heading on the way home from our weekend trip, the family was hungry and decided to stop for brunch at the Waffle House! Going in today, this one of the smaller Waffle houses we've seen, and there was limited seating inside. Today, we ordered 1 breakfast plate with a regular waffle, scrambled eggs, city ham, and hashbrowns; whereas my dad and I got the 2 bacon Angus cheese burgers with hashbrowns! Moving on with my review, the food today was great! For starters, both dishes had super crispy hashbrowns (this is Waffle Houses bread & butter), the breakfast had very soft cooked eggs, ham steak was greasy, but tender, and the Waffle had the perfect chew & Crunch. As for the burgers, the beef actually tasted pretty fresh and so were the veggies. But what really brought this sandwhich together was the bacon! Had gave the sandwhich a wonderful peppery flavor. In contrast to the food today, we were a tad dissapointed to find our server was in a foul mood. She wasn't present to refill our drinks and bothered when we asked for condiments. This was the most disgusting WH I have ever been to. On the outside of the restaurant there are dead and livings insects all over the windows. I didn't think much of it as first because it's Florida where there are a lot of insects. However, after we ordered, I noticed an ant crawling across the table. Then I looked on the window sill and there were ants all over it. Gross! The floor was absolutely filthy and I am concerned that ants probably weren't the only insect inside the place. This WH needs a visit from the Florida Health Department. This was the worst condition that I have ever seen a restaurant in. Try visiting another WH as it can't be any worse than this one. read more

Classic Waffle House, an experience replicated consistently all around. Came around lunchtime on a weekday. Entered to a polite greeting, followed by quick, friendly service. The food value cannot be beat. I typically order breakfast. Ordered the 2 egg breakfast with extras on the hash browns, and extra bacon and a coffee--all for less than $15. Left well fed and satisfied. The employees were working together cohesively and everyone looked well attended to. The restaurant was clean and everyone was polite. This is the dirtiest place i have ever been in. There is dust and grime all over the ceiling falling onto the tables, the floors are not swept much less mopped. While sitting at the counter, you stare right under the equipment on the back wall which sits off the floor. There is trash, food and grime caked under there and obvious it has not been cleaned in months. I could not eat my meal because the place was so repulsive. When cleaning the tables, the waitress just used a napkin to wipe it down and kicked trash and food under the table. Would rate this a zero star if it were an option. read more

Waffle House is somewhere you want to go to eat affordable. I come here once in a while for their steak and eggs breakfast plate. But downfall was the staff, besides my waitress (she was sweet), all I kept hearing was vulgar language and duties being refused to be completed if it wasn't their tables or customers. The condition of the place is definitely used and abused its a traditional greasy diner. By the looks of the juke box, it seems as if we would find this place in a George Lucas film from the early 80's, nice. I've been here before Saturday mornings with my family and we've enjoyed it with great service. This morning at 5:30am my boyfriend brought me to get some waffles for my birthday. We got some but the employees refused to sit us down and said they were only doing to-go orders. We were the only people there, prior from that we had seen the blonde server napping in the booth and as we walked in she went to the back to talk to the cook. We kind of accepted the circumstances and ordered to-go. However a Caucasian man pulled up minutes after we ordered and they sat him down right away, so immediately we felt offended. The table had waffles, bacon, eggs, coffee, and the famous hashbrowns. All was as expected, which is to say fantastic. The hashbrowns (with mushrooms and onions) lived up to their legendary status. The coffee was excellent as well. Service was great, as they were attentive and catered to our every need. The only downside - and this is from a companion, not me - is that their waffle could have been cooked a bit more. Easy remedy, next time we will ask for our waffles well done. We did have to wait a bit for a table to open up, so we helped ourselves to a cup of coffee. This was a great option and I wish more places had this available. read more

The waffles are obviously made to order as you can see them make them from the seats. The jalapeño biscuits were definitely homemade and tasty.
