Passed Lake Park Diner on our way back from a fun nature adventure and checked out the Yelp reviews prior to eating ... 4.3 with 428 reviews ... perfect, passed the test ! Well, the food was excellent. You place your order when you walk in... take a number and pick your table ... and they take care of the rest. I ordered the Cali Panini and it was really good. It came with a side of my choice and I picked the mac and cheese.... which was scrumptious. So much food for lunch but it was delish. The lemonade was also quite tasty. Any husband had what he said was a really good asian salad with salmon ... he was really happy! All and all, we had a wonderful lunch at Lake Park Diner ! I wish it was closer to home ... i would be a regular!
Stopped here on our way into town. It's nice that you order at the counter but they still have staff who bring you your food and clean the tables afterwards. Food was excellent! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was tasty and fresh. We sat outside and it was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely eat here again for a quick meal. If I lived here, I'd probably order take out from this place all the time.
Great casual place to eat with good menu selection. Food was fresh, service was great! Kids Mac & Cheese was delicious and tasted homemade. Very reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the indoor seating area was freezing cold, so most people are outside. Highly recommend.
After-beach atmosphere perfect for a lunch or quick bite. It was also kid-friendly, which is a huge plus in Naples. Loved our burgers and Parmesan garlic fries. Portion sizes were on the conservative side. You won't leave hungry, but might not have leftovers. Ingredients seemed fresh and higher quality than typical diner fare. Had two strong cocktails which were great as well. Can't wait to go back and explore the menu.
Always amazing when you eat at the restaurant. Good quick service at the register and very helpful food runners. Delicious cocktails, food comes out to perfection every time (in looks and taste!), and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Great vibes all around! I've ordered several items and LOVE the pimento chicken sandwich (despite not liking pimento cheese usually). It's a wonderful balance of flavors and the accompanying fries are always fresh and salted well. Recently I tried the signature Lake Park Mojito and fish and chips -- great portions and delicious. Not greasy either. Tartar sauce was a little more on the potato salad taste and texture which was a little odd, but the lemon wedge was a nice addition to get the necessary acidity. Mojito wasn't too sweet and had a beautiful meld of blueberry, cucumber, mint, and lime flavors.
Just delightful every time! Service is quick, food is always hot and delicious, drinks are unique and tasty and seating is abundant and varied!
Oh my what a hidden gem! An unusual place in a good way. You order at an outdoor counter, the menus are on the wall easy to read & sit outside or in, I think the inside isn't a huge area but the outside is large & is all covered protecting you from sun or rain. They bring your food & drinks out. Great beer selection, they also have wine & other cocktails. We ordered 2 things & split them, the fish & chips OMG so good, the batter is unusual & the 2 pieces of fish are thick, served with yummy fries. The other sandwich we got was the Prime Rib French dip, served with Au jus & creamy horseradish & we got onion rings with that. The sandwich was unbelievably tender & the flavor was superb & also the roll it was on was very soft & easy to eat. I had an "Otto's" Barn beer which was an amber & really good! We will definitely be coming back here to try something else. The charm, the friendly employees & the delicious food are all winners!!
Great, adorable, and quick little spot for a tasty lunch. We came here after a visit to the Naples Zoo. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you order at the window. My mom had the salmon salad, I had the Korean short rib tacos, and my daughter had the kids chicken tenders. Overall, everything was tasty and fresh. The only comment I'd make is that the sweet potato fries needed to be crispier and they needed some more seasoning.
I have always loved coming to this restaurant. Very expensive, but typically worth it. Tonight I called and asked about the Shroom Burger. It states vegetarian. Yes, I realize that it states limited vegetarian options...but this item clearly states VEGETARIAN. Well, it isn't...you cant cook a mushroom on a grill used to cook meat and still call it vegetarian. The snotty brat that answered the phone said "lady, its vegetarian...not vegan"....now had I gone and had an allergy to meat and ate what I thought was vegetarian...this could have been very ugly. Definitely PSA for all those people out there with GAL syndrome or have a meat allergy, religious preference, etc. ALLERGEN ALLERT!!! THIS PLACE DOES NOT PROPERLY ADVERTISE MEAT CROSS CONTAMINATION AND MISLABELS ITEMS AS VEGETARIAN. DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT VEGETARIAN MEANS. Maybe even cross contamination with gluten...Who knows what they are doing to avoid exposures. Concerning.
You ever go somewhere and leave so satisfied because of the food, service and overall experience? Visiting from Boston, we couldn't be happier with LPD! From the second you walk in, with the manager greeting you and helping you find a table, to the fast service, we got Deviled eggs, garlic parm wings, ROTI sandwich, tacos, mahi mahi sandwich, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. Everyone LOVED their meal. We can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!!
Delicious fresh breakfast! This place was not at all what I was expecting in the best way. I wouldn't even call it a diner- it's quicker and way more casual. When you walk up you see a bunch of covered outdoor seating, high top tables, low tables, some under shade, some out of shade, and there's an indoor seating area as well. Theres huge menus at the entrance. You then pick what you want, walk up to the counter and order, you take a number, find a seat, and they bring out your food. I was confused when I first got there someone else talked us through how to get food. We also ordered bloody marias which were very tasty. The food came out quick! When it came out the server asked if we needed or condiments or anything they could help with. Very nice service Breakfast was fresh and amazing! I got the quinoa scramble with breakfast potatoes and my friend got the salmon scramble. Both delicious! Didn't even know quinoa and eggs was a thing. I would for sure order this dish again. We even had someone stop by and check how everything was going. Love the vibe here and especially love the food. If you're in the area I highly recommend.

Yelp helped us discover this great lunch spot after we left the nearby Naples Zoo. Although there was no lake or park nearby, it offered comfortable seating in a shaded and fanned outdoor patio area. Each of our lunch entrées were delicious! We started out with a yummy appetizer of deviled eggs. I got the Korean Short Rib Power Bowl, which had a generous portion of tamari & brown sugar marinated short ribs, roasted cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, red bell peppers, on a bed of brown rice. Mom got the classic Fish & Chips, and my husband enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a root beer float. I got a delicious bourbon cocktail called the Honeysuckle. I appreciate that their to-go packaging was environmentally-friendly, no Styrofoam to be found anywhere. The service was quick and friendly, we will definitely return next time we're in the area. read more

Really great place to grab lunch. I loved the format with a big menu outside, you order and grab a seat. The waiter brings you your meal. Great beer (several on tap) and wine selection. The Cuban sandwich was excellent, as was the taco salad. The Mahi tacos were fair and needed more zest. Delicious deviled eggs. read more

A little on the pricey side, but love the ambience of this outdoor/indoor place. If you have a dog you can bring them with you. If you prefer to sit indoors, you have that option as well but it's primarily outdoors. The brussels sprouts are pretty good as are the mahi-mahi tacos . read more

What a great lunch spot! Nicely decorated for the holidays and just a bright spot where the food was hot and delicious. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. But they don't just forget you. They come back and check on you to see if you need a drink refill. California panini was really good with hot and fresh fries. The mahi tacos were outstanding but the sweet potato fries were absolutely addicting. My husband who can take or leave them wanted to order an entire plate of these babies! So when you are hankering for some fresh and healthy lunch, go here! And if you don't want that, still go here cause they have beer and wine. What's not to love? read more

Lake Park Diner is always my first stop when visiting friends in Naples. I've never had a bad meal there, but their pimento chicken sandwich, with delightfully crispy buttermilk fried chicken, savory bacon jam, and creamy pimento cheese, is by far my favorite thing on the menu. Even the bun, which for this dish is grilled sourdough bread, is fantastic. All sandwiches come with traditional fries, which I like substituting for sweet potato fries or truffle parmesan fries. Their portions are huge, and one entree can easily feed one starving boyfriend or two people. The servers are kind and service quick, and this is an excellent spot to eat outside on a nice day. If you somehow saved room for dessert you will not be disappointed - their signature shakes are also delightful. I love the campfire super shake that comes topped with graham crackers and marshmallows. I am already dreaming of my next visit! read more

My family and I were visiting Naples and spent a hot humid morning at the Naples zoo. After the zoo we were all tired and hungry, a friend recommended the Lake Park Diner because it was yummy and near the zoo. I have to say I was not happy with the logistics of this place. There were plenty of open tables and I wanted to sit my kids down so they could cool down while I ordered but that was not an option. We all had to wait in a long line, wait to order, and only after that were we allowed to get a table. I would recommend a couple of things: allow families to sit down and ask that one person waits to order (trust me, no one wants to stand in line next to crabby kids). Also, I recommend that the menu is available in a couple of places, maybe handed out when people are waiting in a long line; it is an extensive menu and only available on the side of the building, which is hard to see until you are almost next in line. My other gripe is that for such a big place there are only 2 single bathroom stalls. I get that this place is in the south but I really don't understand why single stalls have to be gendered... after waiting in line behind 3 women to wash my hands and my kids hands I just took my kids to the men's single stall because it was open the whole time!! So just a suggestion to join 2023 and label both stalls as unisex or perhaps add additional bathrooms. The good: the food was delicious! We loved everything we got and I don't have any pictures of the food to share because we ate it too fast. I LOVED the Magic Palmer drink, so refreshing; I wanted to get another one but the line was too long! read more

This is a really nice comfortable establishment. When you walk in, you simply walk up to the menu then to the window and place your order they will give you a number just like many other places. They bring you your drink and then they bring you this amazing meal. I had the classic burger with fries and a chocolate shake. I know too many calories but I could not resist. The shake was truly an old-fashioned style shake. It was absolutely delicious. Whipped cream on top with a maraschino cherry. The hamburger was cooked to perfection and believe it or not. The pickles spear was cold and actually Crunchy fresh. Very cool outdoor seating with a nice breeze. There are tall, bush assortments around it so it protects you from the parking lot noise. Where you place your order, the young man was extremely pleasant and having a really nice meal did not break the bank. I highly recommend this diner. It's absolutely crazy cool! read more
