We visited Skillets for breakfast; they only serve breakfast and lunch. We sat at the bar and had really good service! I think you always get better service at the bar. I ordered the breakfast casserole which had an eggs, bacon, ham, sausage and sausage gravy and cheese....delicious!! Came with a side of bread- I got biscuits which were hot and buttery. The menu is extensive from waffles, crepes, breakfast skillets, and omelettes to sandwiches, salads and wraps. The place has a diner feel good for a breakfast joint. My friend and I stopped for a bite to eat with my dog Snickers and we really enjoyed our meal. The service was good and the food was delicious. We both ordered egg sandwiches and were pleased you could order them on a variety of breads and have your eggs made any way you like. Snickers enjoyed a few bites of egg and our surroundings were open aired, sitting outside with a cool breeze and abundant shade. I love this restaurant. I have been a patron before they franchised. The food is excellent. The ambience is cute. However, this last time I had a server named Jonathan. If Jonathan is ever my server again, I will leave. He was rude and dismissive up until it came Time to pay the bill and he was looking for a tip. I almost tipped him a penny. It was that bad. Our last full day in Naples we decided to eat out for breakfast. I had seen this place when we passed it on the way to our condo at the beginning of the week. I researched it and found out it is mainly a breakfast restaurant. We opted to sit outside on the patio and the hostess proceeded to put us all the way at the back no where near anyone else. We thought that was odd! Our waitress was nice but not very outgoing. We were here from Pa Dutch country. The restaurants who specialize in breakfast do it right and price it right. With that said, I was a little taken back by the prices of some of the items. Pancakes were way overpriced for the quantities, same for the French Toast. I was the only one of four of us who had a 'skillet' (pulled corned beef) the other three all had pancakes and eggs with meat. None of their dishes were remarkable! My skillet was good, the corned beef had good flavor. I felt the coffee was weak, but then I like a coffee that's gonna slap you and wake you up! I can honestly say that we weren't impressed by the whole experience! For the amount of food and over all taste, the prices were too high for breakfast! (The cheapest meal a restaurant can make) I would not return if in the area again. read more

Skillets wasn't bad! We were sat in the white room in the corner which wasn't the best atmosphere, and the waitress could have been a bit nicer, but for a quick breakfast it was fine. I ordered a skillet which was hashbrowns topped with veggies and cheese, and two poached eggs. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good! I loved the thick cut rye toast. Great Skillets restaurant in lely. This is ny first time at this one, have eaten at the 3 others often. This one has tons of outdoor seating that is covered, almost as much as indoor seating. Great waitress. Food was awesome as usual. Pecan waffle was special and yeasty, wonderful. The banana bread was great, moist and fresh. Even the biscuits are freshly made and nothing like you have had before. The skillet which I also had are amazing with creamy hashbrowns potatoes they call skillet potatoes underneath eggs i had scrambled with any toppings, I like mushrooms, avocado, cheese and scallions. Our group of 9 ALL left happy today! When we arrived for Sunday breakfast at 9 AM, there was a long line snaking out of the building and we were afraid we'd have to find another spot for our large group. But they told us the wait would only be 20 minutes and it turned out to be less than that. Three of us (including myself) ordered the Croissant French toast with bananas and berries with strawberry sauce and we all thought it was yummy (though I would recommend getting the strawberry sauce on the side. Two of us liked it and the other was less enthusiastic.) I was impressed that the French toast included plenty of fresh fruit. Others got pancakes, omelets, and a Rueben sandwich and all were pronounced delicious. This was our second visit to this Skillets location during our trip to Naples, and we will be back again next winter! read more

Solid place for breakfast. My husband ordered the homemade corned beef hash with hash brown casserole and banana bread. I ordered the Benedict that had potato pancakes with bacon. We've been to Skillets twice for breakfast. The menu is very extensive and there are also vegetarian options. The food is tasty and consistently good. Portions are huge. Service is friendly and efficient. They have a nice outdoor patio which is covered and has fans to make it pleasant to sit outside. Our only wish is that they had more breakfast pastries.
