DIRTY!! BLT was on a hamburger bun that was frozen. The lettuce was frozen and spots were slimy. Waitress barely spoke and acted like we were putting her out! I didn't even eat what I ordered...just paid and left! YUCK!! read more

Super early (645am) and I'm on the way to the beach. But first, breakfast! We got the last table when we walk in and a waitress immediately checked for our order. Waffle for me, waffle for my wife, coffee for each of us. They didn't take long. Cooked properly and light, mine had the requisite pecans with it. Coffee was perfect and hot. Restrooms were both clean (Mrs checked the ladies). My only complaints are that the music was super loud and the road in front needs a fresh paving. read more

Passing again. Decided to visit Manning waffle House again! Lee Lee recognized us with a big smile in her face. We ordered. Waffle. Scrambled eggs. Sweet Tea. Hash Browns Bowl with scrambled eggs and cheese. Topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms A hot coffee. Sweet Tea to go. Wasn't busy for a Thursday morning. Service was quick. read more

We don't live in Manning, but we stopped here for breakfast on the way back home and its was the BEST Waffle House meal I have had in years! Food was cooked perfect and as ordered, the staff was polite, waitress did a good job AND when it slowed down, all the employees were cleaning! Mopping, cleaning bathrooms, counters, whatever they could find. These days when it slows down, you see workers on their phones, goofing off, etc. All around good experience. read more

Food is not cooked the way a customer orders it The server ignores you and when she finally does come to the table she is rude and unfriendly I never get a refill on coffee and have to ask for cream for the coffee and even have to ask for a spoon. read more

Here's the Scoop: waffles, grits, steak, sausage, eggs, my, my, my! The menu is chock full of delicious looking food. Looking at the menu is startling because the prices are low but quality food. The service is top notch and so welcoming. My honey and I enjoyed our food immensely. My honey wanted to go to sleep after his platter (see pics) I was a good girl and just had pecan waffles & sausage. The dining room has counter seating surrounded by booth seating. Very clean and space utilized well. I recommend that you stop at a Waffle House when going or coming from the South. It will make you do a happy dance. We had eggs and waffles. The food we ordered was great. The service was great and the people were very nice.

We were refused service. At 2:40 am on Jan 11, 2022. My husband and I stopped during a long road trip, to stretch our legs and eat. We went to sit down at the counter, which had the staff's personal items all over it.. And we were told that we could not eat there because they were understaffed and it was too busy. There was no one there ...we were the only people there. I took pictures showing that the waffle house was empty... we were refused service because the staff was lazy and didn't want to do their jobs. read more

Coming from New York City here! Right off the bat, seemed like your regular diner you would find in queens. Workers have good energy, cleanliness can be better. We were unaware of the Waffle House rule of sitting ourselves down. Our server Whitney was good, helpful and polite. Food was not so bad for its price. read more

As you can see my brother is in love with Waffle House and since I'm not driving on this road trip I have to eat where he wants too. So this one was wayyy better the last one, my cheese omelette was perfect his steak was great (I quote) and awesome for the money. Our server Whitney was super nice and professional. First time trying a Waffle House and since they are everywhere here, figured they had to be pretty decent....but hard no. Will not be trying any Waffle Houses again if it can be avoided at any cost. My husband and I stopped here 10PM on 9/20/20, and while I ordinarily don't like Waffle House, this is a rare exception. This location, BY FAR, has the best tasting food I'd ever gotten at a Waffle House. Nothing was greasy, waffle and hash browns were crispy, hot and flavorful. Wait staff was super friendly as well. On 03/08/21 placed my order by phone was told order would be ready in 10 minutes upon arriving waitress had not called order out to cook and said i would have to wait for order to be be cook i informed waitress that she was very slack in preforming her duties and that she would not be receiving a tip. She then refused me serivced. We were there on 4/12/2019 around 10am. The tables and counters were dirty, with dishes from previous customers. There were approximately 4 people behind the counter and 1 cook. The women were just standing next to the cook pretending to be watching him. They could have easily taken the initiative to clean up the tables. There was no acknowledgement either. The other customers you could tell were waiting for a while. The lady next to me said she had been waiting for 45 minutes. I saw a couple leave and that's when we left too. It was the most horrible experience i have ever had at a Waffle House, truly disappointing. read more

I'm sitting here right now with my mom and daughter, and appalled at the lack of service and cleanliness. Disgusting. Tables are NOT wiped down properly. Nothing has been lifted up and wiped underneath in years. Too much convening between workers for gossip sessions. We were barely glanced at upon entering. I tried this restaurant because it's in a great location, close to the center of town. The staff was friendly and our server, Crystal was awesome. That said, the food was terrible. My Over Easy eggs weren't cooked. The sausage patties were like hockey pucks. Toast was good, coffee was good. I will not be back. read more

This is the best Waffle House in SC! Food is fast, excellent and served with a smile. All employees welcomed us, and carried on conversations with us while never stopping cooking, cleaning, serving. Now we eat the same thing every time we come to the waffle house. the meal go up every other year but anyway the prices are on the menu where customer can see it. so the waitress give the bill I didn't see it at first because of her hand writing so I thought it was 35.00. so I went to pay and then I went to sign the it said 50.00 bucks!!!! so I ask the young lady why is my bill 50.00 buck she told the prices go up and I didn't charge you for cheese. I told her that don't make sense 20.00 buck worth of cheese. I had to tell her to ring it up again in my face and till me, how one waffle and 3 grits cost 50.00 when the prices said $7 each on the menu. then the other girl told me thats the price of the food. So I had to tell them to do it 3 times, then the waitress started laughing like it was funny because I caught her stealing from me. then bill came out like it should 35.00 something. and I told her it not funny that you trying to steal from in front of my face. then next Morning called the manager he was like maybe she made mistake, I told him no I had to make them do it threes times and they both told me it was 50.00. so I called Corp number and told them that the staff is stealing from people out of town and pocketing it. AND THE ONLY PERSON WAS WILL TO HELP ME WAS THE COOK. make sure you pay cash and look at the price of your meal to make sure they don't make up their own bill and pocket the rest. by the way she said we had soda but on the ticket it all said waters. so don't give them your card and add your own meals, BECAUSE THEY STEAL FORM PEOPLE OUT OF TOWN, LIKE PEOPLE CAN'T ADD (EACH MEAL WAS 7 THAT WE HAD)7+7+7+7=28 PLUS THE TAX OF THE STATE WICH IS 8%. The food is TERRIBLE. I came in one night and my food was greasy and sitting in a puddle of butter. I wanted to talk to the manager about the quality of the food and the servers says there's no manager tonight.... What establishment does not have access to a manager in case of an emergency or customer service issue??? Will not be eating at this location again I may try another. read more

This was the worst service and the worst food I have ever received at a Waffle House. There were too many employees standing around talking and not enough team work. Staff was not nice and they could see we had two small children who were crying and hungry. It was a very cold night and we were expecting a nice hot dinner.. What we received was far from it.
