Maybe I travel too much, or seek out cute coffee shops and good coffee, but I am genuinely disappointed. I read the reviews and people who travel were saying it was a "gem" and a great find. So I drove 8-10 minutes off 95 for... great value brand coffee. I watched her take the grounds and put them into the espresso maker, and then add the great value milk into a chinet cup (same kind I get at walmart for togo). And for a hot coffee it was $4.59 for a plain hot coffee. Then I got an iced vanilla coffee, the vanilla was also great value brand. I could see the ladies in the back make sandwiches, the shelves were all stocked with great value brand bread and all kind did other items. To say your a cafe and then serve Walmart store brand food is very disappointing to customers. The iced coffee was $7.99 which is way higher than Starbucks and the cup was mostly ice. I am all for supporting mom and pop small businesses!!! But, I also wouldn't do it at the expense of quality. I do not recommend unfortunately. The owner should consider better quality supplies. read more

Very cute cafe with comfortable setting. The food is barely passable but better than fast food. I did enjoy my greasy croissant from Walmart (the waitress informed me) with egg, bacon and American cheese. But of coarse with regrets for the ill health. John ate the ham off his ham sandwich and rejected the bread. D had a wrap on bland tortilla. L enjoyed his club to be fair. read more

My wife and I just had lunch here and it was fantastic! The potato salad was just like my mother used to make. My Italian sun was awesome. Will be back here on our next trip read more

Unfortunately, no donuts this week. Nice place to stop as we head back to VA. Quiet little coffee shop.

Mediocre at best. We came for breakfast and they got my order wrong. Advertise smoothies but don't actually have them lol. Kind of run down and not super friendly as one would expect in the south. Not sure how the lunch sandwiches are so this is a breakfast review. read more

Cala Lily Cafe - a person holding a sandwich and a bagel - Cafes Near Me - Manning, South Carolina

Just stopped in here for lunch on our way to Florida. Only a few miles off 95 but everything was really good. The sandwiches are fresh with plenty of meat. The desserts are all homemade and the coffee was really good. Stop in! read more

Cute restaurant with good variety of sandwiches. Good for breakfast and lunch. Very good prices! Didn't have donuts the day I came but we will be back. Nice friendly service and clean, cute dining room. read more

The espresso machine must be broken or something. They were using like a Cuisinart or some home use machine. Then microwaving the milk. Yuck! read more

Their grilled chicken Caesar salad is my all time favorite salad. Great prices and great staff.

Dirty tables, sandwich meat is lowest edible quality, all served on paper plates with cheap plastic silverware.

Egg salad was tasty. Meal #1 was a great deal! I also loved the random seat outside (which is where I enjoyed my light lunch). read more

Cala Lily Cafe - Egg salad on white bread. Came with a bag of chips, drink and a donut! - Cafes Near Me - Manning, South Carolina

Great prices and amazing service! The Reuben, Ramini and Taw Caw sandwiches were very tasty. Portion sizes were fair for a cafe and the price. Combo meals were a great value and the donuts were incredible! read more

What a great deal! $8.95 for Sandwich, Chips, Drinks and Desert. The cinnamon bun was very good. I would recommend less food options, maybe even a build your on sandwich option so that way they could serve fresher food. read more

Don't bother. The menu is misleading. The waitress was extremely rude, rolling her eyes at every question. We arrived at the cafe an hour before they close and all the employees were obviously trying to get us out. Very disappointed considering all the other reviews were good. Never before have I've been so motivated to post a yelp review. read more

This little cafe is a good value! It's just a small little downtown restaurant making good homemade food. If this is your thing, then look no further! I love coming here for the friendly and prompt service, decent food at reasonable prices and casual atmosphere. I recommend it! read more

Not going here again. The food is bland. No real variety. Service seemed to cater to regulars only. The cake tasted like it was from the Betty Crocker box. Just, no. read more

Great donuts! But no one working there knows how to make a cappuccino or gives a crap about service. Always try to give local coffee shops a try before seeking out a chain, some impress and some fall short. read more

Outstanding cafe! This will definitely be the place I come to when driving by or to Manning. The "Hickory Top" sandwich was fantastic. The homemade sauce should be bottled and sold, crazy good. The dessert and coffee where out standing as well. I asked what was their best sandwich and a local patron said-'everything'. My experience with Cala Lily Cafe is that he was absolutely right. The service was top notch southern hospitality at its finest, and being born and raised in South Carolina- I felt perfectly at home! read more

Stopped here for breakfast while traveling through Manning. It's part of a quaint town rebuilding itself. The food was very good. Lots of sandwich specialities and deals. Delicious donuts and sweet buns. The hospitality even better. Very clean and well maintained. Reminded me of a 1960's diner. Highly recommend. Would visit again when traveling. read more

Chicken salad was a Southern classic! Staff was friendly and helpful with menu choices. Clean restroom.

Friendly service. Coffee was good and tasty doughnuts. Sandwiches were mediocre with giant bread slices but hardly any meat. If they used thinner bread slices the fillings probably wouldn't seem as stingy. I'd say this is a great place to stop for breakfast or an afternoon pick me up but I'd skip the lunch menu. read more

Mainly sandwiches, but the breakfast croissant was amazing! Also great coffee, with a stellar selection for a little cafe. Help was super friendly. Stopped for breakfast after I spent the night in town and it was worth the extra few minutes. read more

The sweet tea, amazing ! The ranch pasta salad, amazing ! The cakes, amazing ! I didn't get a chance to try their chicken salad, but seeing how they had run out, one can only assume that it is also amazing. I was just visiting the town and the hotel reccomended this place and I am so glad they did. If you are looking for a light lunch place and not trying to spend to much, Cala Lily is the place to go. Lol, probably going to go back for a second time during my short trip because it was that good. read more

Ok. So saw this place one day while driving by and it looked cute. Drove from Sumter with my boyfriend to have breakfast. Got there, well not really a breakfast place. Some bagels, donuts and that's about it, for breakfast. Ended up ordering an egg salad sandwich and veggie soup. Well, I have never had an egg salad sandwich leak all over my plate before. When I opened it up (I asked for toasted bun, but it was not), there was nothing left but the sour mayonnaise that it was made from...gross. I do not eat beef, nor pork, and the side that I asked for was vegetable soup. I was so grossed out with my sandwich that I started to dunk it into my soup. Then I noticed it had meat in it. I asked someone who worked there if there was meat in it, and she said yes. I said, I do not eat meat and she responded saying you must not be from around here, because in the south, we have meat in our vegetable soup. Me... flabbergasted, states, well, I'm from the south and all over the world, and when one states you are serving vegetable soup, it's only with vegetables. I told her it was vegetable beef soup. She didn't care for that, and kind of gave me the stink eye. Not cool, not good. My boyfriend had a turkey sand and stated it was like it was from a gas station. GROSS. So we ended up driving all the way to Florence and had a wonderful LUNCH (although I wanted breakfast). We went to this place called Victors in the Florence Hotel. I told them the story and, well, the rest is history. The food was fantastic and I will give them stars. Go to Cala if you are only desperate for a meal. read more

What a treat!! This place had fabulous southern sandwiches and a super cute vibe. Only bummer part was that we were there with our dog on the way back north from Florida and couldn't eat inside. Highly recommended. read more

This place is hands down the best stop off 95 to stop for lunch. We took our orders to go. For around $8 you get a sandwich, a drink, chips, and a donut. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore downtown Manning. Adorable! Thanks ladies! You rock and we will be back. read more

I was in town for work so I did carry out! The food was excellent! You can't go wrong!!!
