I've been very lax with reviews and I'm sorry to say I have no photos. My wife had never been to a Waffle House so this was the closest one. It's a typical diner atmosphere but you can see the grill. I have to say everything was excellent. Friendly greeting when entering, super friendly service with a smile. My wife had bacon and eggs, I had the eggs with hash browns, sausage, toast and a classic waffle. The price is very reasonable and the food was perfect. The young lady working the grill knows what's she's doing. There's another Waffle House closer to the interstate but this is the one I recommend. And you can go anytime! read more

I don't go in looking for linen tablecloths, just something to eat that is good, well prepared, clean, and most of all very well priced. I came into the Waffle house and got a hashbrown bowl............ yes, I had them top it with chili and it was just over $10 the day before I'd been to a fast-food joint and got breakfast it was about $10 and less than a third of the food. If you're looking for classically trained chefs, a Matre'd, and stuff on the menu you'd need an interpreter to pronounce you need to just keep moving. Walked in during a busy period so had to wait a few minutes for a table. There were tons of military men from the sub base having lunch so waiting for men in the military is never an issue. Always appreciate their service and time. After we were seated, Elyzibeth was our waitress. I know that I have been visiting this franchise coast to coast for as long as I remember. My visit here verifies the reason for the success of the franchise. Upon walking in, everything was ready for customers. Table was clean and neat with bright lighting, we sat down to order. When the food came out, we swiftly went to work gobbling our midnight breakfast till gone. Then chased it all down with the freshly made regular Waffle House blend coffee. I must explain the demerit of one star. Before ordering, while waiting for the rest of our party our table was holding a whimsical conversation about why the temperarure is so cold late night at Waffle House. I understand getting to know the customer, but interjecting oneself without invitation is wrong. The server attempting to be involved was just to adamant to be friendly. She would not settle after being asked to leave it be. Rarely have I run into any real problems with Waffle House wait staff. So, this is an issue I am certain will not repeat itself. read more

What a wonderful breakfast! I am currently on a road trip that brought us from NJ down to Florida and back again. On our way home, we felt it was critical to stop at a Waffle House as part of the "experience." It did not disappoint at all, and I completely understand the hype! The food was tasty and the service was quick, which was perfect as we needed to get back on the road. Most noticeably, the staff was so friendly to us. Food was good. Service at 130pm was horrible. Had a waitress named Mae. It was just awkward. She just kinda staired at me for a while as i semi expected her to greet me. When that didnt happen i asked for my drink... Walked off and when she came back and hovered over me asked for my order but never made eye contact. The other employees tried yup help her with our drinks and getting us silverware... But when it came to check out there were 6 employees there and couldnt get anyone to check us out.
