    Waffle baby - June 2025

Everyone knows Waffle House is Waffle House. This particular Waffle House gets 5 stars due to the staff being like family when we walked in with our party of eleven before a flight out of JAX. Our server, Cat, made everyone feel comfortable as we settled into 3 booths. She took our orders quickly and we engaged in fun conversations as she guessed the ages of our 6 young adult kids. She gave my nephew an extra waffle on the house and treated our senior citizens with warm respect. We appreciate this Waffle House and wish the staff the best!

    All star breakfast.

Everyone knows what to expect when you go to waffle house. Same menu, same seating. The service at this location was really good. Tables were cleared as soon as someone left, all the servers were friendly and the food came our fast. The server made sure we had enough butter and jelly, asked about sugar free syrup and kept the coffee full. I could not have been happier with the place.

great experience everytime i come to a waffle house! there's something about knowing what you want and getting it and having a restaurant exceed it. very fast service and great food! very friendly staff as well! i got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a plain waffle! 10/10 experience

Hubby and I were in the mood for a little brunch over the weekend so we headed over to our local Waffle House. We took a couple seats at the counter and received excellent service! I ordered the Texas bacon, egg & cheese melt with hashbrowns. Hubby ordered the Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns. We added on a chocolate chip waffle because they don't call it Waffle House for nothing! The food came out fast and everything was great. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Thick Texas toast was toasted well and buttery. The chocolate chip waffle was super yummy! Fluffy inside and crisp on the edges, covered with melty chocolate chips. Hubby really enjoyed his bacon cheesesteak melt. It had a good amount of meat on it. My only complaint would be the hashbrowns not being crispy enough. All in all, Waffle House is great breakfast/brunch/late night spot!

As always...a pleasant pop in for a hearty and very filling breakfast from the Waffle House crew. First time at this specific location and honestly...delicious! The ambiance is always hustle and bustle in the kitchen and it's what I love to see every time I go to one of these diners. Waffle was well done and PERFECT with that butter and syrup combo haha the chicken egg and cheese hash brown bowl with tomatoes, jalapeños, and diced ham is TOP TIER. Please try it and lmk what ya think! Thanks Waffle House

disturbing experience at this Waffle House. While I was checking out, an Asian woman entered the restaurant with a suitcase, likely after a flight, to order food. To my shock, the only server and cook present were visibly annoyed by her presence, rolling their eyes, and mocking her with an offensive "Asian" accent. They made derogatory remarks, including a mockery of the N-word, and repeatedly asked condescending questions like, "Do you want to eat?" which was both unnecessary and deeply disrespectful, as it was clear why she was there. The woman eventually walked out because of the way she was treated. This behavior was not only unprofessional but outright discriminatory. I am appalled by what I witnessed, and I sincerely hope management takes swift action to address this unacceptable conduct. The overall service was equally appalling. Our entire order was incorrect, the food was somehow both burnt and cold, and it took 20 minutes just to receive waters. We didn't receive a single refill on our drinks, and the server was openly cursing throughout our time there. While the server gave me an extra waffle because she got the order wrong, it was clear the only reason she did so was that the first waffle was burnt and she still served it to me. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I strongly urge management to addiress the conduct of the staff to ensure no other customer has to endure such an experience.

Waffle House actually knows they're part of the weather index. Had to go for some coffee and waffles. The staff was so cool and the coffee was good. Who doesn't go before or after the hurricanes hits!

This is exactly how Waffle House should be run! The place was packed. Customers were coming in and out just as fast as the cook and waitress can serve it. The food was amazing and hit the spot right before our morning flights back to Austin, TX. Kat, even though wasn't our waitress, was the star of the diner! It's like she read my mind, as soon as we sat down, she put on Al Green "Love and Happiness ". That's when you know it's WH! She filled our coffee cups up and made occasional conversation with us. I showed her previous positive review that included her and she said she's gonna have to start workin on her tik toks to make it big. Lol. I highly recommend this location.

***You guys, I must've been hungover when I did this review because as I read it I still can't believe that I wrote it. But, because I turned 30 I won't change it. What I will say is that I love this Waffle House, they always answer the phone when I call for take out, the food is always hot and fresh and I love how nice they all are (from the grill ops to the servers). *** This is my favorite one of my favorite WH because they're always doing their job when I come in. I mean, I turned 30 And got my hot CC waffle on my 30th birthday at 12:20 in the morning! The T Bone was okay, but Commonwealth has them beat uhmm on the grits too.

They've all kinds of coffee drinks, boba & specialty flavored teas, wonderful savory & sweet food choices, & even veg-friendly options! (As a veg-head, I greatly appreciate this ) The food portions are larger than I thought they'd be. We got a few different things to try... Kuki Butter Latte- coffee is truly bright & flavorful. The sweet cream foam adds the perfect amount of sweetness to top off the caramel drizzle & crushed cookies in the cup. Deviled Egg waffle- now you *know* I had to add avocado to this. It wasn't exactly what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of an egg salad situation & not just sliced pieces of egg. Still flavorful. The spicy mayo isn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be as well. Definitely a "knife & fork" style of eating on this one. Grilled Cheez It, Brah waffle- cheese pull 9/10! A couple of different savory cheeses in this one perfectly pair with the crisp exterior & light sweetness of the waffle. LOVED this! Chicken Sammie waffle- (described by my hubby, as I am a vegetarian & cannot eat this) fried chicken patty is moist, the right amount of thickness, & flavorful. Mayo, pickles, lettuce, & cheddar cheese ratios make this sandwich rather delightful. All in all... great food. Amazing portions for the prices. Healthy, clean options. If you're looking for FAST... this may not be the place for you. In my opinion, no food made quickly ever tasted as good as that which took a little more time. ‍ We will definitely be coming back

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. Julia at the counter must be used to first-timers She was so helpful and didn't seem put-out by all the questions. So many choices. See photos which are self-explanatory. While the fruit options are what they're known for, I thought them pricey, but ok for the optics, and a good flavor. All are made of the same stuff with the contents fruit-appropriate. I couldn't decide on just one, but with my only requirement being "not too sweet", I took the advice of a regular customer and got the lemon which was not too tart or sour and just creamy enough as to be likened to a creamsicle and also the recommendation by Julia who only asked: do you like coffee? To which I replied only with cream and sugar and I got that luscious lovely sl oblong confection. $24 for two pieces of delectable gorgeousness? I wouldn't do this often but it was a very satisfying bit of indulgence. Btw, they can't give you a cup of water, but you can buy a bottle of it. Or sit out back next to the pond with your own water bottle from the car.

On my first visit (a Wednesday), I waited over an hour just to be seated....only to find out they were completely out of oysters for the week. That was frustrating, especially after such a long wait. I decided to give them another shot this past Wednesday, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, it didn't improve. This time, I was told that oysters can no longer be prepared a certain way because it's considered a "special order." Instead, you're limited to however they choose to serve them.....either raw or lightly steamed. For a seafood spot, that's a bit surprising. Most people have a preference when it comes to oysters, and being told you can't customize your order feels restrictive. After speaking with the manager, she did agree to accommodate my request this one time (for one or two dozen), but also made it clear that moving forward, it wouldn't be allowed. That response didn't sit well with me....it gave the impression that customer preferences aren't really a priority. Between the long wait times, limited availability, and lack of flexibility with orders, I left feeling unpleased and unsatisfied. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll be returning.
