The South offers a lot of locations of Waffle House. I've driven past them many a time over the years and never entered. Came here for breakfast one day before setting out on an adventure. We sat down quickly. There were a few people around. We were traveling with an infant and they were not prepared to accommodate a baby seat at all. There was no room to put it up anywhere either. So that was a bit frustrating. The staff was like really lax like not really thrilled to be there. It was just a bit too casual for me. Ordered our food pretty quick, it was honestly disappointing. I mean we waited a decent amount of time I was going expecting you know something. It wasn't as speedy as other places, but it was surely not the cheapest meal out here. My husband for some reason thought it was a good idea to try the steak. It was most likely microwaved. Not good. Our friend we were with ordered a chocolate chip waffle, it looked like an eggo waffle. Had some tiny chocolate chips sprinkled around. I mean like not a total disgrace, but like it wasn't good and it was truly disappointing. Mine was alright, like so so, but not anything special. I would probably prefer a cleaner area, the silverware was handled before we ate with it and it didn't look clean. Even though it wasn't busy, there were some dirty tables which was disappointing. I'm not itching to go back anytime soon if ever just because this experience kind of left a bad taste in our mouths. I can't say for sure, but I wonder how well this location represents Waffle House's everywhere.

Lunch at Waffle House on Rainbow Drive. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese hashbrown bowl, one of my favorites. Benilda just had eggs and toast. Staff were friendly and attentive. Sanitizing of tables between guests was in full force. Consistently good customer service and food.

Amazing service and got the food quick. My card ended up declining and one of the workers named Tiffany ended up paying for me.

We did not know there was a pub crawl for St Patty's day happening on the day of our reservation. We were the first to be seated in the restaurant since it opened at 5:00. Once we sat down we found out there was a limited dinner menu. The waitress took our drink order right away, but it took 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. While waiting for the drinks the waitress took our food order, took our food a good 40 minutes to be served after we ordered. The waitress told us our food was delayed because one item was burned in the oven and had to be remade. When we finally got our order one of the entrees was cold and the other was luke warm. We had ordered both entrees medium, but they were also over cooked. I understand they were busy with the pub crawl, but that should not have impacted their service as much as we experienced. What really disappointed me that the restaurant did not make us aware of the limited dinner menu and that they also were hosting a pub crawl when we made reservations. We could have made a decision to cancel the reservation before we traveled to the restaurant I hope the owners of this restaurant will plan better in the future and make their patrons aware of special circumstances affecting the menu. All I know is that I will not be returning.

Small place, limited seating--more like a neighborhood spot than a polished restaurant--but that's part of its charm. You're not here for atmosphere or fancy plating; you're here because the food's got heart. I ordered the Coconut Wrap with black beans and rice, and it did not disappoint. Good portion, well balanced, and just plain satisfying. You can tell it's made fresh and with care. I also tried an empanada--decent, but nothing that knocked me over. Still, the wrap alone made it worth the trip. Service was friendly, and everything came out quick. Just know you'll be eating off a paper plate (literally), so adjust expectations accordingly. I plan to swing back through next time I'm in town to try a few more dishes. Solid spot that's doing good food without the fluff.
