Food was not what we ordered, They Left the eggs off of a sausage and egg sandwich. They Left the pancakes off of the pancake breakfast special. Eggs were terrible, raw, and ordered over well. This was our recent breakfast order from them. Recent dinner order from them was just as disappointing, hamburger steak had no grilled onions... Cold baked beans, cold and old fries. I think we'll find a new hometown cafe to order from in the future. This is not the way it used to be. read more

I we were passing through and thought we'd give this place a shot having seen the sign from the highway. The food was fair and the service was great. Prices were fair too (you walk out feeling you got a decent meal at a reasonable price.. The diner is classic old town Americana - nothing fancy, but clean, and comfortable. read more

I had the chicken tenders and they and the dipping sauce were AWESOME! My wife had the Chef's salad and loved it! We will be back!

We couldn't quite make it home from Atlanta without stopping for lunch, and so we wound up at Bee-Gee's. This place's speciality seems to be chicken fingers, but they have other standard American food like hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. They also serve breakfast, including biscuits with chocolate gravy. Yum! Their milkshakes are supposed to be really good, but we didn't try one. Two meal sizes: snacks (entree, fries, roll) and dinners (same thing + coleslaw). Honestly, we were pleased and surprised at how reasonable the prices still are here. We realized too late this establishment also has a drive through. Still, even ordering inside for takeout, our food came out shockingly fast and fresh. Inside is clean enough though showing its age a little bit. I didn't find the service very friendly at all, lol, but they weren't rude per se and we were served quickly and efficiently. Husband and I both got chicken finger snacks. We were impressed with the size and quality of the chicken fingers. Obviously hand breaded. Fries were fresh, maybe could've used a little more seasoning, but tasty. The roll was store-bought and unremarkable but I appreciated it all the same. The special Bee-Gee's sauce they're known for is just a little too sweet for me -- pretty strong honey mustard vibes -- but I enjoyed trying it and definitely dipped a couple of times. However, the tenders were strong enough to stand on their own, which is great! Bee-Gees is a solid option if you're passing through and craving some tasty tenders at an affordable, fast rate. read more

This place once again proves that hole in the wall places are the best. From the outside this place may not look like much or inside for that matter but the food is fantastic. I got the chicken dinner and you can immediately tell the chicken fingers are hand breaded. They are incredibly crispy and are so flavorful. The tenders as well are huge and they definitely fill you up. The fries are good as well but next time I would try toe hot or fat fries they both looked really good. A great pick for the area! They are known for their chocolate gravy and biscuits, and of course, their chicken and chicken sauce. My mom usually sends bottles of sauce to my brother in Ohio! I really enjoy the food, but it is definitely a small town restaurant and has limited seating. I do recommend getting it to go, rather than not experiencing it at all! But trust me, the chocolate gravy is best eaten fresh! read more

Nice "burger and more" joint. I wouldn't actually call it a Restaurant. Order and pick up at counter. Pick up salt, pepper and ketchup at same counter. But thats ok. Nice sized menu including the classic burger, chicken finger, steak sandwich and some barbecue. Plates available. I had a large classic burger basket combo, which simply includes fries and drink. Burger is good, but not great. Just basic had patted meat. Fried on flattop. Nothing added, or at least cant taste anything added. No pepper, garlic,salt or marinade sauce. Thats fine, but now days I expect a bit more of a taste. Chopped white onions and regular hamburger dills give a nice added flavor. Not overwhelming. A little dab of Bee Gees sauce, I assume, added a nice touch. I think its just ketchup and mustard mixed. I got a bottle to take home. Fries are the basic fries for this type of eatery. Long and somewhat skinny. Not over salted. But loose heat very quick. Might not be good for a take home order. Crinkle cut would be a bit better. Sweet tea is good, because this is Alabama. Everyone can make sweet tea. Great price for the food served $6 for the combo. Counter staff was very freindly and service very quick. Ive got to come back and try some of the other menu item. read more

An authentic Southern 1950's dairy bar complete with red booths and a couple of old school video games/pinball machines in the back. This place has been in business since well before my time (and I'm 46) so the building is not fresh and new and modern and it is in a rough looking (but safe) neighborhood) however, the inside is clean (consistently good health dept ratings) and the chicken fingers and sauce are the best you'll ever have. Good burgers and shakes too and if you happen by there during morning hours stop by for a melt in your mouth biscuit and chocolate gravy. A local favorite. read more
