My daughter and I ate here for lunch on a Friday around 1pm. There are only a few tables inside and there are tables outside. Theres a drive thru and it was busy even at 1pm. I ordered the hamburger and fries and she got the tossed Chicken salad. Our meals were delicious! My burger was juicy and satisfying. The sauce is a must try because it was great. It's like a sweeter Zaxbys sauce but much better and I liked dipping my fries in it. The service was great! This Mom and Pop place is a must try when you are in the area. Visited here a few weeks ago right after 4th of July with my mom. We intended to go elsewhere but found they were closed for the holiday and Midas Burger was nearby, so we scooted over to have lunch together. This place reminds me a little bit of a "dairy bar" in the vibes and the type of food they sell, though with much less emphasis on ice cream / shakes. There's burgers and chicken tenders and relatively cheap meal combos, served in a friendly if divey atmosphere. They have a drive through, about three or four tables inside, and about three more picnic tables outside. We wanted to eat inside and eventually found a table, but wound up switching to another one quickly because the first was still covered in crumbs and sauce smears. The second was a little better but a good go with a rag would've been ideal. They were doing a very busy carryout business and so our food took a while to get to us. Service was fine if not effusively friendly to us; that being said, there's definitely a community vibe, with many customers seeming to be on a first-name basis with the staff and several meal specials named after folks in and around town. My mom ordered a burger and fries and I got a chicken tender box -- tenders, fries, a roll. Solid sweet tea to drink. I was underwhelmed with my meal. Tenders were small and a little tough but they were vastly improved by the yummy specialty sauce. Fries were frozen then fried crinkle cuts, also unremarkable but improved by sauce. The roll was rather stale and also store-bought. Honestly, I'd only give my food a 2, but my mom said her hamburger was really quite good, so I guess I'll round up to a 3 overall. Workers very friendly. Great hamburger, cheese sticks and the really good crushed ice. Chicken fingers were huge and tender just wasn't wild about batter. Would definitely like to try them grilled. Southern hospitality to the max, the ladies who work here seem to really like their job, and the food they're serving it was a great experience dining in on a Saturday afternoon. The food was really yummy, I loved the sauce on the chicken sandwich, and I was told the burger was the best around by my dining partner. The star of the show was the fries for me. The pork on the bbq fries was so delicious and tender, and I loved my chili cheese fries with jalapeños. We drove from Guntersville and can't wait to come back. Sweet staff and we tried their burgers fries onion rings slaw potato salad chili cheese dog patty melt every one of those items I would be glad to eat again! Although two men we spoke to there were getting fried chicken and said it was better than finger licking good! Lol. So we will try that next time. read more

Patty melt was delicious! 10/10! Chilli cheese fries were good too! They have indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was very nice. Inside is pretty small and like a small town diner. They gave us chicken sauce, ranch, and ketchup too. I would go back. read more

The best thing about Midas is the friendliness of the employees and the sauce (of course). It's Brindlee Mountain's special chicken sauce and Midas has the best. If you're expecting Zax sauce or something because it looks similar, it isn't. It's better. The chicken is good, sometimes it has harder to chew ends on some pieces, but I don't think that makes it bad. The drive thru isn't as quick as Chick-fil-A or anything, but it's pretty fast considering the staff and the menu. If you dine inside, there's only a few tables and some outside options too. Nothing fancy. Heads up, there's a 4% charge for cards on the price that they tell you. The cashier isn't going to tell you about it, and if you're in the drive thru it's on a small sign that you have to look back to see on the other side of the window if you've properly pulled into the window. It's terrible placement and feels a little dishonest. Also, they serve Pepsi products (personal preference, but fyi). read more

Midas Burger was recommended by the Arab office I was working in with an ulterior motive. I was sent with Chicken Sauce from a local competitor and my "job" was to determine which sauce reigns. I walked in to Midas Burger with full disclosure that I was auditing the Chicken Sauce. The staff was very receptive and friendly offering food suggestions (being my first time) and were graciously complimentary of their competitor. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich and fries. The chicken breast was tenderized into a thin "filet' and grilled. I could have easily eaten 2 sandwiches. The Sandwich was halved and the Chicken Sauce from each location was slathered on. Wow! It was a toss up. On chicken, the sauces were equally delicious! On fries as a dipping sauce, I prefer the Midas sauce which is a tad zestier. I will try the grilled chicken salad next time with their homemade Ranch dressing, but I will have an equally hard time deciding between the other menu choices... chicken, hamburger and hotdogs.
