Fantastic and full

My husband and I come to this location pretty often.. Today was no different.. We like to sit and people watch and pay close attention to the staff while preparing meals for customers when coming in the entire staff greets everyone the staff work together like a well oiled machine with Ken as the captain of the ship .. it's amazing to watch..Happy New Year to them the food was great as always and we appreciate the service as it cost nothing to be kind! Thanks for making a great experience and even better one ..

If my Bacon Looks good it's because, it was good! Lol!

I walked and the house was full. A lot of the employees were talking very loudly to each other. I expected to be greeted right away but that was not the case. A few minutes passed and a friendly employee finally greeted me. She told me someone would be w me shortly. Then it took awhile for my waiter to come by but, when he came by he was nice and resembled the Chef from SouthPark. Lol. I ordered a water for myself and Coffee for my friend. He never brought the Coffee? Then another guy came to take my order. I ordered a Chicken Sandwich with Cheese no bun and added bacon. I loved the Bacon and I loved seeing them use the Bacon press. The Grilled Chicken was flavorless and tiny. The Waffle House should be called the Character House. Lol. There's an Employee there that could have been the Jokers girlfriend, Harley Quinn. Lol. Another employee that had a big Afro. Sorry, I didn't get their pics. If your looking for some tasty Bacon and interesting service some from Characters come here.

The All Star with a pecan pancake! Life is good!

What's better than breakfast for breakfast? Breakfast for supper! Score! We got there about 8 pm, and there was one customer inside. That means the 2 people behind the counter can pay attention to me! We always sit at the counter cause that puts you in the middle of the action! Both of them were super friendly and we talked the whole time we were there. I got the All Star, with a pecan waffle. Loved it! This "everything " breakfast is a lot of food, so I could only handle about half the pecan waffle. We enjoyed every bite, and you will too. Go there!

The staff was fast and efficient (not to get confused with rushing). The building inside consisted of 3 TVs, a soda fountain, and other common appliances in a fast food place. The roof inside looks incomplete but minor to the eating experience. The food I ordered was the Half Philly / 5 Wings Combo (which included an empty cup) and Boss Rings (onion rings) and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and piping hot and almost burned my mouth! (I'm okay. This was a good thing). The Half Philly had a punch of flavor and the dry lemon pepper seasoning (there was a variety of wet and dry seasonings) was great, yet for my taste it was a bit salty and oily (though it doesn't affect rating because it's a personal opinion). The fries were okay as they lacked salt but were surprisingly crunchy. I assumed the cook tried to compensate the salt for lemon pepper seasoning yet it wasn't enough. Though, it is justificable because I arrived and ordered at the establishment near closing time. The onion rings were crunchy and had a funnel cake like flavor and could fill up a person's stomach. The oil was not excessive but rather light which is more suitable for heath-conscious individuals. Thank you so much for the dine-in experience. I look forward to visiting again.

You can tell there's care put into the build. The atmosphere was fun and lively, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal. The staff stood out as well. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. The onion rings were just okay. They and the chicken tenders felt like the only items that went straight from freezer to fryer, which stood out compared to how fresh everything else tasted. If I had one suggestion to take this place to the next level, it would be to offer a true build-your-own burger option with a full list of ingredients. They were very accommodating when it came to customizing their "designer" burgers, but having full control would make the experience even better. Also, while the burger meat was good, it tasted like it was cooked on a flat top. There is nothing wrong with that, but a flame grilled option with a bit of smoke and char would push these burgers into elite territory. Overall, great burgers, great vibe, and great service, with just a couple of tweaks away from being exceptional.

The Chinese and Mexican Salads are both amazing! Worth the money! The chicken salad in the case or on the sandwich is another favorite! Get the Blums cake! It is worth every calorie. This most recent visit we skipped it in favor of the strawberry cake which was stale and a big let down. I called later to let them know it should probably be pulled and should have been so a day or so earlier. A Relaxing Lakeside Experience with Great Food & Service…read moreThis was our second visit to this quaint seat-yourself restaurant. With indoor seating, a cozy patio, and tables on the lawn, we chose the latter for a peaceful view of Lake Worth lake. The setup creates the perfect backdrop, complemented by a refreshing breeze. Both times we've been, there was live music--this time, karaoke--which made for a fun atmosphere. Service started off slow, but thanks to Trisha, our waitress, the experience was completely turned around. She was attentive, friendly, and truly saved the day by quickly taking care of us, after we had waited quite a while. Her warmth and efficiency made the visit extra special. As for the food, we went with our usual--the three-piece catfish basket, which comes with French fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. The margaritas were just as enjoyable! After dinner, we took a short walk down to the edge of the bluff overlooking the lake and relaxed on a nearby bench, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The fried mozzarella was perfect and we loved that it came with pesto in addition to marinara and ranch. We got the caprese too and it disappeared almost as quickly. Pro tip- make sure you keep the pesto off of the mozzarella to have a little extra for the caprese. It doesn't *need* it, but it's good pesto! We each ordered the pecan old fashioned and they were dangerously delicious- not overly sweet like I was worried about. The branded orange peel was a nice, fun touch. We got the lasagna and the ragu. You know the lasagna was good when your man was talking about it two hours later! I was really impressed with the amount of meat in the ragu- and it melted in your mouth. The paperdelle was a smidge over cooked, but I almost don't want to mention that because it was so good. And the portion was huge-SO much food! We sat near the bar/kitchen so we saw all the food coming out and it all looked good. We were stuffed but ordered the tiramisu anyway because it looked so good. And it was. The service is what really set these guys apart. The staff worked really well together and everyone was taking care of each other's tables. The manager (owner?) seemed to know about half the people in there- it was packed- and was still working just as hard as the rest of the staff. We felt incredibly well taken care of and couldn't be happier to find something so good, so close to home. Best advice is to come early because it gets busy!
