This one looked like it fit the script but man I was wrong when I walked in. Everyone was super nice and kind but the food was awful and presentation was non existent. My food was bland, no flavor, the biscuits and gravy tasted like nothing but flour and had no seasonings. This is something my Wonderbread white great great grandmother would have made. my white toast was burnt on the bottom which I don't know how you couldn't see that and actually think " hmmm this big girl will eat this no matter what" it baffles me on what runs through peoples heads when it comes to this type of quality of food. unfortunately, I wouldn't even give this to my dog. That's how terrible this food was. The coffee was weaker than my left knee on a rainy day. I apologize for the blunt delivery, but these reviews have got to be written by family members or friends because there's just no way the hype is that real on food that is being served on paper plates with plastic cutlery and blend as ever.

So I opened up my trusty Yelp App looking for a breakfast place that was open. At almost 11:00 I found this little Pinehurst Diner in Perry Ga. It was off of I-75 in a rural area. When we got there, I sent David in to look at the menu. It was thumbs up and there were only 3 tables inside. The people were so friendly! We ordered a bacon, veggie, cheese omelet, mine with hash browns and a biscuit and David's with grits. They made us fresh coffee in giant cups and it tasted wonderful. The omelets were done to perfection! Don't get excited- l shared some of mine with the Freck! This was the best breakfast we had in a long time and we go out for breakfast quite often! Still, when a place is worthy I'll take the time to write about it. This place is worthy. I'm a Southern girl, raised on fried chicken, so you should pay attention to this review for that reason, if no other. This place is small, out in the country in south Georgia, completely unassuming, but what they do they do VERY well. The fried chicken is spot on, second only to my mother's, and hers was the pinnacle to which all others should be compared. The fried okra is perfect, absolutely delicious - I would say it's like eating candy, but I don't give two hoots about candy. The potato salad is creamy and yummy as hell. The sweet tea is perfect. We had some other dishes, but those are the ones I'd recommend. Nice ladies at the counter, 2 picnic tables outside for "eat in," though most business seems to be drive-through/take out.
