10 chicken wing dinner with coleslaw

The team at Carter's fried chicken was awesome! They worked very hard to make sure that I was not allergic to what I was eating. Thank you. Bonus the food is excellent extremely good. This is now on my list of stops along the way worth the weight fresh hot fried chicken.

Two life lessons for every road trip: 1. Always look for the diners and dives off the beaten path. Especially whenever they are known for fried chicken and cheeseburgers. It's something about 'true south' Georgia southern fried chicken. 2. Never go #2 at a gas station, instead pull into a nice hotel and use the lobby accommodations. Trust me when I say housekeeping keeps it cleaned routinely. Cleanliness is next to Godliness! Act as if you already have a room and handle your business . **(Ask for , The Chicken Man)**

Some of the best fried chicken you'll ever eat! I don't know what they fry it in but it's amazing.

They had a large wedding party the night before and they were out of a lot of drinks and some food items however the way she presented it to us, was again hilarious so we truly didn't even mind. Food and service were excellent. We were the last people to shut down brunch on a Sunday afternoon.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated! It could very well fit in at theme parks, like Universal Studios. It's Clean, spacious, lighting on the dimmer side. It's a fantastic date night spot. We were blessed to have Diamond tending to us, and she was outstanding! Customer Service doesn't get any better than what she gave. I imagine she'd be just as great if the place were absolutely slammed. Our food was pretty basic. We got spicy fried wings as an appetizer. They were pretty good. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo had small bits of white meat chicken, and not a lot of it. We also had a 14oz Ribeye, collards, & mashed potatoes. All the food was ok. Not good enough to rave about, not bad enough to complain about. Just basic . I'm glad I finally checked it out though. The overall experience was worth the visit. If you're ever in this area, you should stop by:)

She checked back on us several times, and recommended we stop back in on our way back to Florida. Spouse ordered the smoked pork chop lunch with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread: it was all delicious, especially the chop! I ordered the pulled pork lunch with fries, squash casserole, and cornbread. My favorite sauce was the Sweet & Tangy: I used it on the pork as well as my fries. The squash was flavorful (yum) but I did pick out some of the breadcrumbs in order to get straight squash flavor--so good! Finally, I'm in love with their cornbread! When we do come back in our travels, I may just order cornbread and butter as my dessert! Highly recommend this place, and be sure to say hello to Server Denise (she said to call her that, as the owner is also named Denise! Fun!

While yes the food is better than fast food and it's nice to stop for a family lunch during a long drive at a place with lots of options, not sure we'll make this stop again. The chicken finger platter is a plate of concession stand chicken fingers, nothing special (or good). The ribs are dry while simultaneously wet but not in a rib winning competition way. Mac and cheese is on the menu so that pleased the younger crowd. Kids cheeses burger was a sad thing Pattie with unmelted cheese on top. Unfortunately, I kept getting bombarded by tiny flies during my meal that really distracted from the (indoor) dining experience. I'm not sure if it was the sodium or brain overthinking but left nauseous and ready for a cleanse - body and mind.
