I was waited on within a minute of entering and my food was out within five minutes. Two other customers came in while I was eating and they were given the same service. My food was delicious and accurate to what I ordered. I had my grandchildren with us and everything was great. The bathroom was clean. The restaurant was clean and organized. Good visit. read more

This Waffle House is open 24 hours. The food is always good, average amount of noise, nothing too crazy. Usually the service is great.. but tonight the server was VERY rude. As soon as we sat down she walked up and said (with an attitude) "I'm taking drink and food orders." We didn't even have time to look at the menu and there was only 2 menus for 4 people. We waited about 10 minutes after ordering to get our drinks and we got our food before we got our silverware. She never brought us our check, we had to walk up and get it and as we were paying she walked away. We had to grab our own receipt. Needless to say I was disappointed and she didn't get a tip. read more

We were visiting Dothan and saw there was a five-star Waffle House. Really???? Had to check it out. This WH is definitely way-better than any other we've been to. It started with the attitude of the staff - especially our server Pepper. She took such good care of us and clearly takes pride in treating guests like she wants to be treated. The food was outstanding - all of the regular menu items, but they looked & tasted just a little bit more special. If you are in Dothan, go out of your way to go to this WH. read more

Hands down the absolute best Waffle House I've ever eaten. Friendly staff, excellent food, clean and sanitized. The crew was friendly to one another. We had our food within ten minutes of ordering and the place was packed! We will make this a regular stop on our way through to the beach all year long. read more

I've seen these all over but never had an opportunity to stop by. Tonight I called the number for a nearby deli and got a lady who was very polite even though she has been getting calls for the deli for 6 months now (reminded me of how my parents had a number 1 digit off from a department store when I was growing up). I got a steak melt and hashbrowns to go. They forgot the mushrooms on the hashbrowns but they were still very good - I would prefer them to fries most anytime. The steak melt was also very good - nice toasty bread with just the right amount of steak, cheese and onions. The combo of the two was just the right amount of food. Fast friendly service, and I'm glad I finally made it to one of these. Would love to hit one for breakfast - we'll see. read more

I've been going to WaHo's for 15 years, and this is the cleanest, friendliest one I've been to to-date. Had the door opened for us by staff (never had that happen before), and our waiter, Devon, was adamant about cleanliness, organization, and order correctness. I wish all Waffle Houses exhibited this kind of service despite the grungy atmosphere is sometimes part of the charm of most WaHo eatablishments. read more

My family and I sat down for a late dinner on the way to the beach, and when we walked in we got hit with a blast of freezing air. We all had to go back to the car to get our jackets. We even asked them to turn the air off or raise the temperature, but they did not. We just tried to ignore it, because it was the only restaurant for the rest of the way to the beach. Then about half way through the meal- our food getting colder by the second- they brought out the cleaning supplies and started mopping. The smell tainted our food, gave us all headaches, and stung our nostrils so much that we couldn't even smell or taste our food anymore. We had to leave because it was so bad, and we didn't even finish our meals. We all went to the restroom before leaving, and when they were all occupied I leaned behind a small wall in between the restroom and the main restaurant using my phone. I then heard one of the employees say "That was so Dramatized". I was floored, and as we left one of the waitresses said to the person mopping "Honey don't you feel bad" and she replied by saying "I don't." This experience left a foul taste in my mouth (and my nose) and hindered my view on Waffle House as a whole. They even refused to let us talk to their manager. Never have I had such a rude, awful experience at a restaurant. I will think twice next time I want to go to a Waffle House. read more

I can not even give them a star a friend and I went in around 01045 and sat down the waitress asked what we wanted to drink and when I got my glass of tea there was grease all over the glass to where a blind person could tell it had to be from bacon or sausage Cause it looked like lard but to make things worse when I called her over not even a oh I'm sorry she just took the glass and brought another dirty glass so I asked for a to go cup and to make things worse the person was hovering over as we was looking at the menu when the food came out everything on my plate was burnt so I asked to speak to manager but one was not there this person said so I told them to take the food back I did not want it and the attitude Started even tho I did not even drink but a sip of tea I still paid for it. Left my number for the manager to call me and I have not yet received no call the worse waffle house in Dothan and i have been to all of them. read more
