Price was fair. This is a place to go back to for breakfast or lunch. There were several groups of people in there that you could tell this was their local Saturday morning breakfast and there was one large group of family maybe a dozen or more people. Everybody was getting fast service!

The experience at The CKD can be attributed to 3 main qualities: service, quality, and price. Service: You're not going to meet two kinder, dedicated men anywhere. These gentlemen take pride in their work as well as there community. If you are a regular, like me, they'll have your regular order on the grill before you make it in the door. These guys are good to their customers and kind to all people. Quality: All ingredients are fresh, meat and produce, from local farmers. Countless times I've been there as a local farmer brings fresh vegetables, bacon, ham, etc, and nothing beats a BLT with their smokehouse bacon and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. These guys have mastered their craft too. Well prepared and cooked to perfection. Price: I don't know how these guys stay open. Just as an example, if you order a breakfast sandwich with Ham, egg, and cheese, you get at least two pieces of thick cut ham, usually more, for $2.75. They're like Oprah giving out BMWs. It's ridiculous. Lunch is just as cheap for lots of food. The only negative to The Copper Kettle Diner is the small staff. I've been disappointed to find them closed a few times because no one is available to run the store. This is not a regular issue, however.
