All star breakfast
Rebecca V.

I love this location because of its proximity to the DIS track. The food is always fire, the service is quick (even when its busy), and it's one of the cleaner locations, for sure. If you're lucky, certain NASCAR drivers and their teams will stop here after a race. It's the perfect small town diner vibe in a big city, even though it's a chain.

All American with grits

This Waffle House has a simple direct work ethic. They are friendly and fast. My husband and I had the All American breakfast that came with a waffle. We like the portion size - it was just enough that we both almost finished our plates. Just have patience and trust that they want to help you fill your belly.

The best.

I just love Waffle House. In fact I feel inclined to open up one in Michigan where I'm from, because there are non in my home state. This particular Waffle House in Dayton Beach was exceptionally clean and the staff was especially friendly. They also have a TouchTunes at this location so that was fun.

0 stars do NOT eat here.. I DID NOT ORDER FINGERNAILS IN MT BISCUITS AND GRAVY. TERRIBLE HEALTH MANAGEMENT

!!DESERVES 0 STARS!! WAFFLE HOUSE ON SEABREEZE The people on shift were rude as hell, clearly didnt do their job correctly and took a ridiculous amount of time. Not to mention i got a FINGERNAIL in my biscuits and gravy.. I dont even want to know what else was in my food i actually ate there. This is absolutely a health concern and i feel as if they should have a health inspection ASAP. DISGUISTED

Here's the crew of happy kids.

Best Waffle House I've been to ever, and I've been to a lot. Staff was naturally sweet and caring. Helped me figure out best way to serve 6 kids from 7-15. Alicia our waitress had our food out in 5 minutes! Everything was great. Kids cleaned the plates. Being that I was on vacation they helped me find nearest surfboard rental place. Overall: they hustle, they serve great food, and they are really nice people. A great experience.

This is definitely the kind of place that the locals frequent and that's exactly what my dining companion and I look for. The decor is very simple and welcoming, and there are monkeys, racing memorabilia, and other tchotkes that adorn the shelves on the walls. Service is very prompt and friendly. We definitely felt at ease here. I ordered the two egg breakfast which included two eggs anyway you want, toast and one side item. I substituted a biscuit, which was definitely worth the change and requested hashbrowns. The meal was filling, and the hashbrowns were perfectly cooked! My dining companion ordered avocado toast, but after seeing my hashbrowns decided to order a side of hashbrowns for themselves! They were that good! This is definitely the kind of place we would return to if we are in the area.

We typically go to a place in St. Augustine when we do this cruise trip several times per year but decided to change it up. I will say the guy who answered the phone and was also our waiter, was very nice, but thought they were 2 miles off 95 when they are actually 4 miles, but it was a straight shot and worth it. Small locally owned place, which is what we love, and the food and service is good. We started with the pigs in blankets for my hubby and son and they enjoyed them. I'm a vegetarian so we also tried the fried pickles and those were the star of the show! Absolutely delicious! ( I forgot to photograph those two dishes unfortunately). Hubby had the club with fries and thought it was OK, but not great. The meat seemed a bit cheaper quality. Our son had the Cuban sandwich with fries and thought it was good. I had the garden omelette minus the onions, wheat toast and hash browns. The omelet was very good unfortunately the hash browns tasted like meat though so I didn't eat those. I'm sure everything is cooked on the same griddle. I also had a mimosa. They serve their breakfast and lunch menu all day during hours. This spot is a perfect little family owned place with great service and food. They were on a wait list when we left. I would recommend you check them out!

Located on the beach side of Atlantic Avenue in what looks like a motel, Adam's Egg appears to be a popular place for motel guests. We were seated promptly by an overly friendly server and perused the menu. After hearing about their breakfast special, Adam's Breakfast Bowl, my wife decided to order that with crispy house potatoes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with gravy on the side ($15). She also ordered a side of toasted wheat toast ($2). I ordered the Adam's Two and Two with scrambled eggs, bacon and house potatoes ($13). We each ordered coffee ($8) and water to go with our meals. My wife liked her dish but thought the potatoes weren't crispy. My breakfast was fine, although I thought the scrambled eggs lacked the fluffiness that I've come to expect for an elevated breakfast experience. Lately, I've been judging breakfast joints by how fluffy their scrambled eggs are...and this didn't quite make the mark. It was an OK breakfast. The highlight of our meal was the friendly and efficient server. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just over $48.

There's not a ton of space, which I'm sure makes the rush brunch worse. Facilities were to clean and well maintained, well decorated as well. Our server Ashley was friendly and great. The food was delicious! My fiance and I both got veggie omelettes, he was able to add bacon to his and sub the potatoes for a fruit cup. We got an English muffin and wheat toast. Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours!

We also forgot it was Mother's Day, so we had about an hour wait as a walk up, but this place was very much worth it. Once we got the text, we came back and were shown to the spacious outdoor area on the first floor with our pups. They brought the pups a water bowl, and it was nicely shaded so we were all comfortable. I loved the decoration in there, it was secluded from the street but still very open but comfortably shaded. Everyone who worked here was very nice and the service was great from start to finish. I got the brisket hash, which was delicious. The eggs were cooked to a perfect over medium (at my request). The third wave house smoked brisket is worthy of hype for sure. My companion got the shrimp scramble, and we ended up asking if it was normal for the shrimp to be slightly translucent, which it apparently is for rock shrimp! Both entrees were excellent. I also got a bloody Mary which was amazing. Overall I have no notes for this place. Service? Great. Vibes? Great. Food? Great.
