It's a solid Waffle House, service was good and so was the food. It was my first time going there and I'll most likely be back again.

The way this place is a DUMP! I couldn't even believe people grace this place with seriousness. Every picture advertised is a stock image and is NO representation of what's really going on here. My hubs and I flew into town on quick business and every quality restaurant was closed. We decided on the Waffle House because the town had absolutely no where to dine. We pulled up and the diner, and i immediately began to cringe in the parking lot. The hubs and I were starving, so we went in anyway. OH MY GOODNESS was my immediate thought. Without frowning and turning my nose down, I kept my composure and took a seat. The waitress who greeted us was the sweetest and most pleasant little lady you'd ever want to meet, so of course I'd never show my distaste for where she worked, but I felt bad that the owner has anyone, employees or patrons working and dining in these conditions. When I say OUTRAGEOUS, I do mean a mess! The floor and baseboards were hideous, the tables were dingy, THE MENUS!!!! Oh gosh! Gross. It was equivalent to an old dusty gas station bathroom. I couldn't. I always carry tea bags in my purse because I like a certain tea; I asked for a hot water and when the cup came it was dirty, had an old lip print, and floating particles throughout. I didn't have the heart to tell the waitress it was a mess, so I simply asked for a to go cup instead and that worked out. As for food options: shut the front door. I ordered grits and an over hard egg. The grits were old, lumpy, and had been around since yester-year. The hubs ordered the same with raisin bread. He ate his and took it like a champ, but after a couple of bites, I was over it. The service was great-- our waitress was sweet as pie, but demo the diner and start a new. read more

The worst experience literally ever. They weren't even busy and the server was a nut job. They had a full crew and had one server. I sat there for 50 minutes, never got my drink, I only ordered a waffle and 2 eggs and never got my food. But they were steady making to-go orders. It was cold as usual so I decided to sit in the sun. My friend was ready before I was so the server placed their order and came back for mine. (Patty melt $11) Needless to say they came out at drastically different times. Had to flag the waitress for a coffee refill. Coffee (2.50) The burger was good. And large enough for leftovers. So I boxed it up. I didn't catch my server name. Didn't snap shot the ticket. Not sure when I arrived. Don't know how long it took the kitchen. There are not too many options on the menu. It's a cool place to stop and eat, but it it's very overrated. They have some incredible servers, tho which is why I rated it with a two. I ordered chili, and it never came, but she was nice to take it off my bill. The food was what it was. Bacon was more crisp than I'd like it, but they are huge slices of bacon. That butter for the waffles is delish. It tastes so good. The servers were patient with my nephew, who was hyper. More power to her cause he was driving me nuts. read more

I went to the Waffle House on Old Minden Road in Bossier City, LA. I ordered the egg and cheese breakfast which includes eggs with cheese, grits with cheese and raisen toast according to the menu. After waiting for quit a while I finally got my meal. My meal did not come as adverstised on the menu. I got scrambled eggs with cheese, plain grits which were lumpy and warm, not hot, sauage and plain toast, not raisen toast. The sauage was precooked lying in a plate next to the grill with already cooked bacon as well. The sauage was cold and the plate there were on was swarming with flies. When my eggs were scambled, the cook reached over and grabed 2 sauage patties off of the plate and placed on my plate. I don't know why I did not get cheese in my grits and do not know why I did not get raisen toast. In all my years of eating at the Waffle House (and I am 65 years old), I have always received excellent service and cooked fresh food. This was a very dissapointing exerience and not sure if I will return. I Hop and Denny's is right down the street - Maybe I will switch to them. read more

In my years in the Boss City this is the "forgotten" WaHo... my home WaHo is by LA Downs and the Airline Drive location is just right off 2 main thoroughfares so they see more action... This location in the 4-5 times I've been in has never been packed and I've always received quick service and great food... Visited Waffle House today and was surprised by 20 percent to-go fee. I asked the server about it and she said it's always been there and that people was just recognizing it! Amazing service, they were very attentive and sociable. While cooking the food, they were also making sure to simultaneously clean up after themselves which was very impressive. This is my first experience at this Waffle House. We ordered from our hotel and picked up the order. However after returning to our room a side was missing, and condiments were missing. I called the restaurant stating the problems and also stating that I'd appreciate them taking care of my husband. I was told by Conrad that I can't tell him to do anything and he owes us nothing for the inconvenience. He said he would cook the little bacon and provide the condiments and that's it.
