Waffle House is my "go too" breakfast place. Consistency, speed price, etc. Then there's this location, had to meet my brother and his friend in Beaumont for a trip to Louisiana. We were there early "5:45 am" only one other person in the place, we weren't greeted on entering, we're never offered coffee. Had to tell staff after 5-7 mins we're ready to order. All three of our orders were wrong, 2 of us got cheese in our eggs we didn't order, the other didn't get the jalapeño's in his bowl that were ordered. Even though he told the server when the order hit the table in was almost ten minutes before the jalapeño's were put on the grill after he asked a second time. My brother and I had completely finished eating by the time his food was corrected. I ate one bit of the nasty cheese eggs, server didn't even question if there something wrong with my food. Also the cook didn't use the bacon press so our bacon was all burnt on the edges and raw rubber fat in the center, they had started getting busier as we were leaving and those pressed never left the hanger on the wall. The only thing that makes this place a WH franchise is the name on the building and the menus. I appreciate this greasy spoon chain. It's not the healthiest or even the cleanest place to eat, but lots of fun. They load us up with butter and grease. I saw one of the cooks arrange food on plates with her fingers (multiple times). But hey - it's Waffle House - they do have some pretty amazing waffles. read more

The customer service here is really really good. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. My server was very courteous and approached me quickly when I was seated. I ordered the All Star special with sausage and hash browns scattered smothered double covered and chunked. If Huey is there let him cook your food. He always does an awesome job. Waffle house. Where have you been all my life??!! This was my first experience since we aren't blessed with thee "Waffle House" franchise in California. But I'm a life long fan now! Here in California we are used to the crappy service and food at Denny's since it's usually the only place open when you're done playing music at 2am. Our band stopped in after our show at the Gig earlier that night since we were on tour in the south. We had the friendliest service and most amazing food. Seriously. We hugged the entire staff as we left. It was that good and we don't mess around with awesome service. Not to mention the prices were ridiculously inexpensive. Bonus when you're traveling. I really liked the customer service here. The hostess was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. We got the usually breakfast dishes with a chocolate chip pecan waffle. Best thing you can get there. Also, this is one of the only places to get your hash browns covered, chunked, peppered, and capped. They are always consistent with the quality of the food. tl;dr: Not so sure about the service. The food's great, as with most other WH experiences I've had. My husband and I live right down the road from this location. We've never happened to dine in, but we have called in a to-go order a few times. Every time we call (regardless of the time of day), the people who we speak to are obviously only halfway paying attention (they always have multiple things wrong when they read back the order) and just generally uninterested in helping you. When we go to pick the order up, it's the same situation. This time, I tried to call and was put on hold twice, then asked to "call back in like 5 minutes" because they couldn't run a credit card and be on the phone at the same time. (Wow...) Ok, I'll be understanding. I waited a while longer than that to give them extra time. When I called back, I was put on hold again, then she just set the phone down. I waited for a good 6-8 minutes before hanging up. I could hear her talking in the background, so I don't know what the deal was. When I tried calling back (multiple times) later, I kept getting a busy tone. I'm left wondering if that wasn't done on purpose to stop me from calling, since it's clearly such a bother to them here. read more

I live here in the Beaumont area, and have never eaten at a waffle house until my mother made me take her when she came to visit. We go to the same waffle house every time she comes- the one on 105, and it's usually a pretty great, four-star experience! However, this last time was soo horrible for my parents, my fiancee and I, We had to give them one star. My parents had a pretty simple order, or so we thought. My mom ordered the fiesta omelet with bacon instead of ham and no jalapenos. My dad had the fiesta omelet just the way it comes, but with extra cheese. My fiancee just had a plain and simple ham and cheese omelet. They served my fiancee and my mom their plates, and said they were almost done with the extra cheese omelet. Okay, no big deal. So of course, my mom precedes to dress up her food, little ketchup and Tabasco on the hash browns, takes a bite of her biscuit, then a bite of omelet. She notices that her omelet is not what she ordered, it had ham and jalapenos. So she politely told them that she got the wrong omelet. The waitress and the manager pick up her plate, debating on what to do with it, and then decide that this was suppose to be my dads order and set the plate down in front of him. WOAH. Hold up there, buddy! First off, you've told us the extra cheese wasn't ready yet. AND THEN as a MANAGER you're going to put a plate of food that has clearly been tampered with and give it to another customer??? So my mom said no, you can't give him this! This isn't even what he ordered. So then they brought him the correct order, and then they brought my moms. Still wrong! It was bacon and cheese only. So she gave up on arguing with them. Then their waitress comes up and asks them, "You guys need to pay now, I have to go pick up my daughter." I am a very understanding person. But when you're rude to me and my whole family, and you're in the wrong at your own business, it gets a little frustrating! She could have at least asked politely?? It's understandable you need to pick up your kid, but don't be rude. Especially after you have royally fucked up our order and were rude about that as well. Not to mention the manager was glaring at us the whole time, making us uncomfortable because she doesn't know what customer service is. We will not return to this Waffle House. read more

This location is so good. We regularly visit this location (for years) and the food is great, the staff is one of the friendliest group of servers in Beaumont, and they are clean. The same people are always working when we eat here and they are really great at their job! Even when it is crowded the staff takes the time to speak to you but are still very efficient to get the food out in a timely manner. The kids love to eat here and sitting at the bar is always fun for them. Try the Texas Bacon, egg, & cheese melt. It is awesome! read more

I have tried calling to place a pick up order. The phone just rings and rings and rings. Poor customer service.

It aggravates me when I call four times on the way home from work and never get someone to answer. I decided this morning to go ahead run by their to see if my frustration is without merit, I mean at 5:30 in the morning they may be jam packed. Wrong! Not even close. Not one customer in there.
