Hello!! I like to go around the Oakdale and Modesto area to review restaurants, stores, and coffee shops. I would like to start by saying AMAZING SERVICE!! The environment is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food and drinks are always warm, fresh, and delicious. Today there were two younger employees working. The young woman was handling orders, making coffee, and even going into the back to prepare food. She seemed pretty overwhelmed and honestly looked like she was doing the majority of the work on her own. At one point she asked her coworker for help with a customer at the front. He made the drink, but when the customer mentioned it was incorrect, he appeared frustrated. She immediately stepped in, calmly corrected the mistake, apologized to the customer, and made sure the order was done right--all while keeping a smile on her face. She answered questions easily, stayed kind and professional, and even managed to take care of what appeared to be a family member who came in, without letting it affect her work or service. She continued to apologize for the wait and stayed attentive to everyone despite being clearly very busy. Overall, the service was excellent, and her work ethic and attitude really stood out. This place really impresses me, and customer service like what she showed today will be one of the many reasons I will continue to return. read more

Horrible service, one of the ladies family members came and it was them and just my husband and I in the morning. We ordered first (2 waffles 2 coffees). The whole time there's a kid in the back making the orders while she's in the front chatting it up with her family when she could've been making our coffees/working. We got our waffles, 20 mins later before our coffee? So we ask if we can get our coffees made and she then gets the kid to make our coffees while she's can continue to talk to her family. We finished our food before getting our coffees so we basically got our coffees to go. I got a peppermint mocha and she ended up making it a normal mocha probably because she started rushing realizing that she was in the wrong. Never coming here again. read more

Amazing food, amazing drinks (I get the boba!!) and amazing atmosphere. I have taken multiple friends to this place because it is the perfect hang out spot. If you avoid the rush, it's quiet, calm, and fun; there's arcade games that you can play for free! Service has always been amazing, fast, and flexible. Stopped by today close to 10 AM to avoid a potential lunch hour rush. Off the bat, I noticed this place was super cute, clean and tidy. The set up wasn't cluttered it smelled fresh and clean. It looks small, but it's actually very spacious the way the tables are set up. We walked in and we were greeted and welcome by a young lady named Maribelle. She was very patient as this was our first time there. She was very friendly and we appreciated that. Our food choice was a turkey pesto sandwich, and our sweet food item was an apple pie crunch Belgian waffle. For our coffees, we had a churro latte and a Mazapan latte. Everything was perfect. I give it 10 out of 10 on the food, drink, and service. I was very impressed with everything. I will definitely take the 30 minute drive again real soon to try out the other food items and their specialty coffees!!! read more

Soft opening Sept 1& 2 2024. Giving 5 stars as I think they put forth a very good effort on their first days out! Oakdale has showed up to support! Full this morning and heard they had a line out the door yesterday. Friendly staff working hard to get it right. Single station espresso machine so takes a while to get the coffees out but very good, worth the wait. Much preferred over the place that's got three stores here in Oakdale now Had two Pigs in a Blanket to begin with. Only $3 so that they be small - wrong, they're good size and the sausage was pretty dang good. They got them out pretty quick (we gobbled them up before I could get a pic) Also got the Berry Groove waffle. Good covering of sliced strawberries and blueberries. Good flavor to the waffle. Had a little syrup left over from the Pigs in a Blanket which I poured on the waffles (I like mine sweeter than most folks). Didn't come with a container of syrup - probably would have been given one if I asked. A little slow at the moment getting the waffles out. The gent at the counter said they needed to get/getting more waffle irons. Underestimated the demand I think, which can be a good problem. So solid performance. Hope they keep up the momentum. Oakdale can use a nice little alternative like this! read more

Went in to waffles bros for my first time last weekend. I Have to say the girl working k'leigha I think her name was DESERVES A PROMOTION. I have been in customer service my whole life and id have to say that I would have lost my ever loving you know what if my coworker was blowing off everything I said and asked while I was struggling to do both our jobs. And the customers that day were so rude. Tip of the hat to that girl. Poor thing couldn't even go to the bathroom or take her break with out the coworker messing something up. And it was cute to see her dad walk in after years of not being able to see her to support her and the business. read more

I want to say that the people that work here are super friendly and nice and the restaurant itself if very clean and welcoming. My son loved the arcade game that he was able to play while waiting for our order. The food was very creative and it tasted great, but the only reason I am taking off 1 star is due to how expensive it is. It's not very affordable for what it is. I know how much waffle batter costs and the effort that goes into making a waffle. Maybe if they ever start doing deals, I'd be back. read more

The owners are very nice and friendly. They welcome you into their shop. The coffee is delicious and the pigs in the blanket are to die for.
