Our food was terrible!!! - the hot and sour soup had no veggies at all - the rice terrible because it was uncooked !!! Dangerous for health and the orange chicken was bland no orange flavor at all - Will never return to this place employees are the rudest ever too!! Bad experience in a rainy day choosing the wrong place to buy food-

Fresh and homemade soup. Chicken meat is tasty too.

Yum! The chicken soup and tempura shrimp and NY egg roll are delicious. Our first time here and we'll be back for more.

My first visit to this establishment was May 23, 2025. It describes itself as a New York style Chinese. When I asked what was meant by New York style, the wait person waved her arms in a circle , smiled and said "bigger." my impression is the majority of their business is Takeaway. Indoor seating is for about 12 people and is casual decor. I dined in and enjoyed it. The kitchen is visible, and is certainly very high energy and high production. The menu has many choices, most of which will look familiar to anybody who does much Chinese dining. I had shrimp with lobster sauce and steamed rice. A very big portion, and nicely cooked shrimp. Price is very reasonable.

Hole in the wall Chinese joint that slaps! Only order to go and always ask for extra crispy and extra sauce. Food portion is absurd and will definitely have leftovers! Fast, efficient, delicious, and inexpensive!

The guy who on 12-28-2025 at 17:30 was literally "running" the show was totally unfocused, seemed to be on steroids or other stuff, and was unable to have a normal rapport with the patrons. Not only ran over one of our party, but later suddenly ran out the restaurant a few times - who knows why but seemed not to be advantageous to the serving task at hand. The food was theoretically good but so insanely hot that I had to request some ice to cool it down when simple waiting or blowing did not help. PREVIOUS REVIEW 2: Well done and hence time to revisit and re-upgrade my rating: The food was wonderful, looked very colorful and yet had a clean, fresh and very appealing appearance. The flavors and texture were on point, and everything seemed to fortunately be again what we had originally been enjoying many years ago. As you can see, it took me 8 years to try again, but I won't wait that long til the next time anymore. The service was not superfast, but at least attentive. Only suggestion: Please print enough menus to have them brand-new for each table. And lastly, the paper menus should be just printed anew every day. They looked disgusting. PREVIOUS REVIEW (2014) The wait time is pathetic: 90min from ordering!!! The food is unquestionably delicious but you might have starved to death by the time it arrives. Favorites: coconut curry, szechuan eggplant, orange ginger chicken, sweet&sour chicken. 4 stars for the food, 0-1 for the service.

She told us that we could be seated at the bar immediately, which is what we opted for. She placed us at a lower portion of the bar with two seats, which was perfect. The bartender, Justin took our drink and dinner order and I have to say, he makes amazing cocktails! We had egg rolls for an appetizer, which arrived very quickly and went well with our cocktails. I ordered a rye old-fashioned and my wife ordered a house creation, "Jesuit's Tea Party," which she enjoyed. For our entrees, I ordered Hainan Chicken and my wife had the Walnut Shrimp. Mine was really good, but I have to say I like the Walnut Shrimp better. They have their breading skills dialed in, so next time I think I'd go with something fried. All in all a great experience. Great vibe and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

Little Fatty is an Asian fusion restaurant that specializes in Taiwanese soul food. David Kuo is…read morethe chef and owner of Little Fatty. The restaurant was previously called Status Kuo and then rebranded to Little Fatty. It is also attached to a bar called Accomplice Bar. [Parking]: Metered parking only and I was able to find a spot two blocks away on Grand View Blvd. [Reversation]: For parties of 6 and smaller, reservations can be made on Resy. For parties of 8 and larger, there is a minimum spend of $75 per person prior to tax & gratuity. No-show fee = $15 per person. [Experience]: The receptionist greeted our party just outside of the restaurant and checked us in. Outdoor tables were available, but our party opted for indoor seating. The lighting was dim with a romantic and casual dinner vibe. At the end of the meal, the staff offered our table hot towels to clean our hands. [Menu]: Menu highlights on Resy include Chinese BBQ Pork, XO Fatty Noodles, Walnut Shrimp. Other Yelp highlighted items include Orange Chicken, Beef Roll, and Hainan Chicken. Burger Tuesday is offered ONLY at the bar. A bowl of rice is an extra $4.00. The staff also gave our table a cute cocktail menu with drinks named after each LA neighborhood. *** Squid Ink Xiao Long Bao (shrimp and pork soup dumplings, fresh ginger - $18.00): Only came with 6 pieces of dumplings. The dough was a bit thick and the flavor was just alright. XO Fatty Noodles (rolled rice noodles, XO sauce, bean sprouts, garlic chives, fried shallots - $22.00): The noodles tasted slightly salty. I couldn't tell whether I had sliced pork belly or flat noodles in the dim lighting and it turned out to be thick slices of flat noodles. Orange Chicken (orange soy-based sauce, dried chilies, orange zest - $22.00): Super crispy orange chicken, but it was crunchy type of crispy and tasted a bit dry. Walnut Shrimp (mayo, candied walnuts, sesame seeds, red cabbage - $25.00): his dish came with lettuce and looked really nice. The flavor was solid and it tasted very healthy. *** Personally it was an overpriced experience for mediocre Asian fusion food. I would much rather visit Jade Rabbit in Santa Monica for cheaper and more delicious Asian fusion food or Din Tai Fung in Santa Monica for a more consistent dumpling and noodle experience. The only reason to come here is for the date-night vibe. Honestly, the food tasted more like Northern Chinese fusion cuisine than Taiwanese fusion cuisine.

We actually didn't expect too much at a glance, but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. We were welcomed in and told we could sit anywhere we want. There was plenty of tables. The atmosphere was casual and laid back. The staff here are super nice and friendly. When another family come in, I saw how the workers went to grab a high chair and ran to reconfigure the table to give the family more space. It was a genuine and proactive display of customer service and care. They had physical menus, but you can scan the QR code at the table to order on your phones. My boyfriend and I shared a Beef Noodle Soup Combo ($19.99) and a Juicy Pork Dumplings ($9.99). This was a great deal because the beef noodle soup combo came with a snack in which we opted for the Wood Ear Mushroom and a drink in which we opted for the Arctic Orange Soda. The food was prepared quickly. The beef noodle soup combo came out first, and the dumplings came later on. It was quick AND TASTY. Wow! We try a lot of beef noodle soup but this beef is soft flavorful and tender. The portion of the wood ear mushroom was generous. The juicy pork dumplings had a thick skin compared to other xiao long bao places we've been to but the inside is tasty and balanced. A pleasant discovery that exceeded our expectations. It was friendly, affordable, quick, and delicious. What more can you ask for these days??

It is located right between Coco Ichibanya and 10 speed so I would opt to try to find street parking in the neighborhoods just behind the restaurants or metered parking on the main road -- this can get tricky during peak hours though. You have the option of ordering from a tablet right at the front if you're just planning to do take out! It was relatively empty when we got there so we were seated right away and placed our orders with a QR code. Our server was there by herself around 5:30 but the food was prompt with coming out. Portions were HUGE to be honest for the price relative to what you usually expect these days in the LA. - Popcorn chicken: came out piping hot and freshly fried, nice aroma from the fried basil. Solid spot if you're craving Chinese popcorn chicken - Woodear: surprisingly had a nice spicy kick from the chilies, no complaints! - Beef noodle soup with spicy: only a very subtle mala flavor but broth was beefy, noodles had great texture. Only lacking thing were pieces of beef were kind of small but otherwise I was very satisfied - If you spend over $50 you get a free dish (pork dumpling, xialong bao/soup dumpling, or spicy (saliva) chicken. Opted for the xiaolong bao which was okay... meat was on the leaner side and didn't taste fresh but the skin wasn't super overly thick and a decent amount of soup inside Overall, for the value and standard of Chinese food in the west LA area I would come back if I ever wanted something decent local to me! :)
