A pleasant surprise! I dont usually wander this part of the mall but was lucky I did. The service was great. The hostess and waitress were super friendly and made us laugh. Just an overall enjoyable experience. The food was good too. We got soup dumplings which were full of flavor and soup. The green beans were crunchy ans garlicky. The spicy shrimp wontons were a fusion/new dish that was really good. And finally the singapore noodle was one of the best I've had in LA. Its a pretty large restaurant with lots of seating. Its inside Westfield Culver City so theres lots of parking around.

I had no idea this place has been open for a year! It was very good and tasted authentic. We got the Beef Crab XLB which was delicious. The soup was piping hot inside just like it's supposed to be. The spicy shrimp wonton special was very good; it was like a har gow. And the Singapore Rice noodle was very flavorful. I want to come back and try other dishes. The service was very friendly and the food came out fast. There didn't seem to be very many Asian workers which had me worried for a second, but I was still very pleasantly surprised with the food. The restaurant is huge. It's on the north side of the Culver City mall which I never go to, so that's why didn't know it was here. It has many tables and booths inside.

The restaurant is spacious, beautifully designed, and has a lively atmosphere with upbeat music playing throughout the dining room. They offer a variety of seating options, and our waiter greeted us promptly, providing helpful recommendations from the menu. We started with the Spicy Chicken Wontons, which were delicious. While they weren't particularly spicy, they were packed with flavor. For our entrée, we shared the Spicy Cumin Lamb with a side of rice. It was well-seasoned and flavorful, though the heat level was fairly mild, so I ended up adding a generous amount of chili oil. Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was full of flavor. I'll definitely be back to try some of their new dumpling offerings.

Super dumpling is the perfect spot when you want some XLB dumplings. Food is always really good, but the service could be better. Plenty of seating inside and walk-ins allowed. PARKING Located inside of Westfield Culver City mall, there is plenty of free mall parking. SERVICE Quick to get seated, but the servers do make you feel rushed a little bit and greeting didn't feel very friendly. FOOD Yummy XLB! We tried their crab and beef XLB, spicy chili oil wontons, and their pan fried beef buns which came out piping hot with a crispy bottom and soup inside. Their dumplings had a nice chewy wrap and tasty beef filling. It's nice that they serve half portions, but unfortunately is only available during lunch. The shumai was light and yummy as well. OVERALL A great spot inside the mall to grab a nice sit down meal with hearty dumplings. Would def come back to try some more items!

Halal chinese place right in culver city! It was my first time coming here and overall it was pretty decent, but id still take Nomads over this any day, different cuisine though slightly Got the pan fried dumplings, spicy chicken wontons, beef fried noodles, and orange chicken. The dishes I would probably get again are the beef pan fried dumplings and orange chicken. The beef fried noodles were not flavorful and were kinda dry had to spruce it up at home when we brought it home. Everything was ok and maybe the orange chicken was my favorite. Service was fast and attentive and there was plenty of seating inside. Its not super upscale or anything, but its nice. Its inside a mall with plenty of parking.

Second experience was pretty mediocre. We got pan fried beef dumplings, orange chicken and crab fried rice and none of it really was inspiring to us

Located at the Westfield Culver City mall, this restaurant was a nice surprise. I wasn't much as the reviews were mixed, but since we were in the area, we decided to pop in. I ordered the mapo tofu, and it was the largest portion I've ever seen! It seriously lasted me 3 full meals. The tofu also comes with beef so keep that in mind if you're a vegetarian. The flavor is on point and spicy, and it went well with some white rice. My bf got the black pepper chicken and said it was pretty good. I had a bite, and it was decent. Neither dish came with rice, which is odd for a Chinese restaurant. We ordered a side of white rice for $2. Not a big deal but usually these dishes come with rice. Overall, a good experience, service was friendly enough but they seemed to be understaffed. There's plenty of free parking at the mall.

Half the food was good, other half would skip! Orange chicken, chicken pan fried noodles, broccoli beef are a yes! Chicken xlb were okay but there's definitely way better. Do not get the beef pancake roll, vegetable spring rolls, string beans... all very bland. Service was okay. We had to ask for water 3 or 4 times and also needed to ask for extra bowls twice. Parties over 6 are a 20% tip even thought they never checked in and we needed to ask for help multiple times. Better to get take out. Inside is just a modern Chinese style restaurant, inside the mall!

Affordable. Two person appetizers and full main course.

This place was DELICIOUS! It's on the outside of the mall next to BJ's. My sister and I went for dinner and ordered 2 types of dumplings, the beef noodles and the orange chicken. Everything tasted super fresh and everything was flavorful. We got the chicken XLBs and the beef steamed dumplings. Our súper was wonderful and super attentive, she checked in often to see if we needed anything. My sister and I ate pretty much everything we ordered so that tells you how good it all was!

3.5/5 stars. I came for dinner, and was seated right away. The waitress did check on me a few times throughout my meal. They weren't serving half portions when I went so I ordered the full crab beef XLB, which were pretty good. I also ordered the spicy stir fried beef. It might have had more onions than beef, it wasn't spicy, and overall didn't taste as flavorful as I'd hoped. The side of rice is sold separately for an additional $2. Not sure I'd come back here, but it's a decent option for a sizable meal at the mall.

First timer ! Super Dumpling is so good! The chicken xiao long bao were juicy and full of flavor. The spicy chicken wontons had a nice kick and tasted amazing. The garlic butter noodles were super tasty and really hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and came out great. Definitely coming back!

Pan fried beef buns to go
    Jennifer W.

Super Dumpling is Super Delicious! Took my Sunday evening order of the pan fried beef buns, orange chicken and yang chow fried noodles to go, and everything held up beautifully, even with the 405 lane closure traffic (meaning it took me extra long to get home) The pan fried beef buns were may favorite. Crispy with the pan fried bottom, soft on the top, with a decent amount of soup in the bun. Got a few good squirts. Throw in the chili crisp and a I give it a 9/10. The orange chicken was my runner up. Not a saucy orange chicken, more of a crispy orange chicken, with a bit of sauce at the bottom for you to dig up if you like. The orange flavor was not very prominent, more of just a crispy chicken dish, but I still very much enjoyed it. 8/10 The noodles were pretty basic. Two shrimp, a few pieces of beef, some chicken buried in the noods. Definitely could have used some more of the premium ingredients. Fulfilled my desire for noodles. 7/10 Staff was great. Everyone was working hard. Complimentary water while I waited at the bar for my food. Restaurant was not super packed on a Sunday at 4:30pm, so I hope they have busier times to keep them around. Will I be back? Yes, definitely for the beef buns. Bonus: great food. Bogus: the soy sauce leaked a little in the baggie? That's all I got at the moment. More chicken, beef and shrimp in the noodles.

Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point. Parking - love love that are a few parking spaces right out front. They're metered. But after 8pm it was free so perfect for us. Other than those spaces, there's a lot across the street if you want to risk it or also side streets parking too.

Ambiance is stylish and dim inside, and it started to get quite loud inside. Service was attentive throughout our meal. What we tried: - Beef roll ($22) - with scallion pancake wrapped around wagyu beef, chili mayo, served with a side of beef broth. I loved this one, every bite was a burst of flavors and textures and the combination was so tasty! - Squid ink Xiao long bao ($18) - shrimp and pork dumplings, these were good but pretty standard compared to other XLB I've had - 3 cup chicken ($21) - made with garlic, ginger, green onion, Thai basil, dried chili. The chicken was so tender and the dish super garlicky which I loved. Goes well with rice, but is a bit on the salty side - XO fatty noodles ($20) - rolled chow fun with bean sprouts, garlic chives, and XO sauce. Amazingly garlicky and savory, and I just love the texture of the rolled chow fun Definitely a solid neighborhood spot I find myself coming back to! Metered or neighborhood parking.

Customer Service: (5/5) The waiter was very nice throughout. She was very endearing as she talked to my girlfriend in chinese and also kind to me when speaking in english. The food came out within 10 minutes and the portions, as I saw on previous reviews, were generous enough for us to share and be full. The Mapo Tofu came out on a hot ceramic bowl. It wasn't as spicy as I thought, not overly spicy but just enough where you get that numbing kind of sensation in your mouth that leaves you wanting more. The beef wasn't like the ground beef you see in other mapo tofu, but more of chunkier pieces which I wasn't a big fan of as it didn't seem spread evenly. The Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. You can tell it was made from a wok and the flavors were just incredible. The chicken seemed to have been friend separately and added on top afterwards but the saltiness of the chicken didn't take away from the fried rice at all. They were good at providing disposable utensils as well as sauce packets. It didn't take long before I was on my way back to work. Noods had nice flavorful chew. Rice was fluffy. Fried chicken/wings was crispy and savory with a slight hint of sweet. But the black pepper chicken was AM.A.ZING!!! There was so much flavor packed in every bite and couldn't get enough of it! There wasn't a lot of fillers either, so that's a plus. Highly recommending this! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 5. They give you enough for a second meal. PARKING: Lots of space shared with others. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. I couldn't stop thinking about the black pepper chicken that I just had to come back the next day to have it again. Paired it with orange chicken on that second run. Not as great, but it is one of their more popular items. (Most people ahead of me ordered it and the pan got refilled during both visits.) So it was a delight coming through here again as it brought back tons of memories. I even remember making many stops at the laundromat next door. Also drove by my auntie's old house. Ahhhh, good times! I shall return! If only for the delicious black pepper chicken!
