I had a fantastic family dining experience at Waba Grill in Temecula! The food was great, the service was top-notch, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made for a really enjoyable meal. We ordered the veggie bowls, and they were absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--each bowl had a nice balance of veggies, grains, and protein, and it felt light but filling. It's the kind of meal that feels healthy but still satisfying, and honestly, the portions were generous. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, which made it perfect for a relaxed family dinner. Even though Temecula can be a busy spot, we didn't experience any long wait times. Our order came out quickly, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. One thing I really appreciate about Waba Grill is how affordable the prices are, especially for the quality of the food. It's nice to get a delicious, well-balanced meal without breaking the bank. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be coming back. Good food, great service, and a laid-back atmosphere--what more could you ask for? Highly recommend it! read more

I've eaten at Waba Grill a few times and the only thing consistent is when you ask for "no sauce" for your entree to be covered in sauce!! When a customer ask for this request it is just that "no sauce", I am allergic to gluten and having this sauce on my food is a serious request. With poor management in place that had to call the manager to even refund a customer. We came out to eat dinner with other not wait for a return cause my entree was wrong not just once, but twice. read more

Food is typically great, I always get the half/half veggie bowl, but some of the employees lack personality. The managers need to teach them good customer service..... like smiling and saying thank you, etc. Great customer service can go a long way in bringing customers back. Staff was friendly and I asked what she'd recommend for my first time trying it here, so I ended up with the two piece meal which comes with a little of everything. Two piece comes with a breast and with wing and thigh. These aren't Costco's mutant giant chickens, so the portion may seem small initially, but the flavor is great. The only drawback I'd say on the chicken is that it was a little dry, tender, but the texture of the meat said it had seen heat for a little too long. But not to worry because the salsa adds the missing moisture right back in. Also, thinking I'll try the whole chicken next time as I don't know when they chopped up the bird I ate, so it may have been drying out from that. I got the flour tortillas, they have corn available, and those were good, pretty standard. The potato salad is good, not greasy/oily, not 90% mayonnaise, good flavor. The rice was even better than the potato salad, and I'm not a huge fan of either and both were a good complement to the chicken. Rice was flavorful and had texture, enough stick to make it easy to eat, and evenly cooked. This place isn't glamorous, it's quaint and simple and doing it right.
