Came in at…read more4:45 on a Thursday and there was a steady flow of people, got my order in quick and food in about 5 minutes, So not bad at all. Staff was friendly and I asked what she'd recommend for my first time trying it here, so I ended up with the two piece meal which comes with a little of everything. Two piece comes with a breast and with wing and thigh. These aren't Costco's mutant giant chickens, so the portion may seem small initially, but the flavor is great. The only drawback I'd say on the chicken is that it was a little dry, tender, but the texture of the meat said it had seen heat for a little too long. But not to worry because the salsa adds the missing moisture right back in. Also, thinking I'll try the whole chicken next time as I don't know when they chopped up the bird I ate, so it may have been drying out from that. I got the flour tortillas, they have corn available, and those were good, pretty standard. The potato salad is good, not greasy/oily, not 90% mayonnaise, good flavor. The rice was even better than the potato salad, and I'm not a huge fan of either and both were a good complement to the chicken. Rice was flavorful and had texture, enough stick to make it easy to eat, and evenly cooked. This place isn't glamorous, it's quaint and simple and doing it right. Coming back to see if it gets better with the whole chicken.

The veggies were still slightly crunchy (not mushy) which tells me they cooked it fresh when I ordered it. The sauce was not too sweet or salty. The food definitely hit the spot and the server was kind and efficient. I would 100% stop by again in the future!

Either the food is not even warm(mostly the fries or onion rings), or forget items, or can't get the modifications correct... or ALL OF THE ABOVE! The food isn't cheap, so it is frustrating when I ask for the kids burger with no ketchup and they SLATHER it on every time. I can literally see on my order it says no Ketchup. Then there is no phone number to call and talk to someone in the restaurant. You have to write emails to Habit and wait days or even over a week for a reply. Then they just email you free char burger tickets, which I don't like to use because I'm always worried they will mess with my food if I use them. So here I am, again, tonight with kids burger slathered in ketchup(and even bits of grilled onion) which my kid won't eat. A waste.
