I'm pretty sure I've had just about everything on their menu from the hot dogs to the burgers to their sandwiches and salads. I have to say they're chili cheese. Fries are probably my favorite from any restaurant. I think it's something about the nacho cheese that they use, which doesn't say much, but they are incredible. The service is always pretty quick here, even when I ask for my dogs to be well done. I love the decor inside of this place, because it's a throwback to an old time. Chicago era. The only thing I wish they do is get rid of their kiosks to order because I don't like when businesses replace employees with computers. That's my only gripe. So, stop in and enjoy a dog but make sure a person takes your order, not the funky kiosk.

Speedy service, as the inside was just about empty on Thursday around 3 p.m. How about selling just the raw dogs so we can take them home and make our own? These were not anywhere near as good as Cupid's in the San Fernando Valley on Winnetka.....which has been the gold standard for decades!!

For the price and the way it was presented on the menu, I expected a much fuller and more satisfying sandwich. The flavor may have been fine, but the portion did not come close to meeting expectations. I hope management takes a look at the portion size because customers ordering a pastrami sandwich should feel like they are getting what they paid for.

my fourth time coming to this place the girl at the register had a very bad attitude and i also notice that she didnt want to take the order of some spanish speaking customer she went and call the other girl to the register and this other girl came and with a big smile and good attitude she help the customer as i was waiting for my order to be called this girl who help the spanish speaking person gave me my order and i liked that she was friendly and also help me when i ask for extra sauce she walked out the counter to walk me to it and never did i see a bad attitude on her from the first time i came to this time on saturday their customer service got better i think her name tag said linda i hope im not mistaking and the food was very good i would sure go back again the only thing i recomend is to get bilingual speakers for those who dont speak english read more

I usually love Waba Grill and I'm a big fan of the chicken veggie bowl. Today I stopped by to order my usual. I asked for brown rice and I guess they ran out of brown rice so they put brown rice mixed with white rice and then I heard the cook tell the other cook "ey bro good improv with the rice" am I wrong for being kinda upset? The manager (or cooks) could have told me, they were running low on brown rice and if I wanted to wait for a new batch or ask if I was ok with with white rice or if I wanted double vegetables instead of mixing white with brown in hopes of fooling me. What if I were allergic to white rice? Like I said, I love waba Grill but this was unacceptable. read more

So almost a month later, I decided to try Waba Grill again yesterday morning. I was helped by a new cashier this time, Alma, who was very patient with my order, even with a line of people starting to form. She only repeated my order back to me once (I ordered a steak bowl with green onions and avocado) and got it right the first time. I received exactly what I ordered, was asked if I wanted sauce, and received at least three packets of each. I honestly thought I would get terrible service again, but thanks to Alma, I'm actually considering coming back sooner rather than later! read more

I usually don't go to restaurants like this with fresh food, since it takes longer than an actual fast food place to cook the food. I went in earlier today for a steak bowl. While it wasn't exactly busy, it looked like the manager was training new employees, but surprisingly, it didn't really cause much of a wait for my food. The cashier, Nicole, was helpful when explaining the menu. All in all, the place was really clean, the staff was on top of things, and they gave me a lot of hot sauce for my bowl. Have to take a second and show my appreciation to this Waba Grill. I do not usually do this but I have been to a few Waba Grills and this by far has been the best I have been to. The food was prepared perfectly. Also the restuarant has a big lobby and was clean and well kept. But the best thing was the customer service that I recieved. Keep up the good work. Definitely will be making this my number one Waba. I would have given a 10 star rating but only allowed to give a five. read more

While I was eating there I noticed one cashier taking out the trash and a customer decided to throw away his trash in the bin with out a bag , it's sad to see customers no have respect for others . I can't believe they now charge for waba sauce. They only give one cup per bowl and the cups aren't even filled with enough waba sauce. Its $0.25 each additional cup PLUS TAX. I spent $25 on two bowls and had to pay extra for the condiments. That's just ridiculous. They said it's corporates fault but they are a franchise. Poor customer service. Food was bland without the proper amount of sauce. read more
