Girl at the counter with tattoos everywhere and piercings on her face was acting like she didn't see me for like 30 seconds then rang me up. I love WINGSTOP in general; best place to get your wings... Wingstop makes it's mistakes as any other (fast food). Like manny commentators mention, many orders are delivered wrongly to the customer. Wings are expensive, still expect to spend a $20 just walking in to the place. I'm deciding or not to order at this place now, or not. 10 bone-in wings are like $15 and b'cuz of it's busy hours, the likelihood of mistakes is high. read more

I ordered wings and fries for my sons after soccer practice today. We grabbed our order and drove home (we live around 7.5 miles away, one direction). They started eating the fries, since that's their favorite. Downside is they always get too cold by the time we get home due to the distance. We started eating our food together when we got home and I freaked out because I thought there was a bug in the fries. I told my kids to stop eating immediately (they were both enjoying their wings) and called the location to let them know about the possible bug in our fries. Jay (sorry if that's not the correct spelling) helped me over the phone and in person when I arrived. He was extremely calm, reassuring, and professional about the situation. He showed me the unknown item was actually an overly deep fried corn kernel! I had no idea they even make corn at Wing Stop until tonight! I was so relieved and appreciative of Jay and how professional he was, especially compared to the hackling coworkers in the cooking area who laughed about the situation right in front of me, he's the only person worth talking to here. My reason for posting this experience is in case it helps someone else who might encounter the same mixup since it can be a very stressful and nauseating experience if it happens. I failed to pick up and examine the overly fried corn kernel because I was freaked out! After driving back home I looked at the multiple overly fried corn kernels in our fries, and I can see they are in fact corn kernels. This drives me absolutely insane. I walk in and tell me it's going to be a 30 to 40 minute wait but I might get it sooner. I ordered a six piece traditional all drums, lemon pepper with extra seasoning and barbecue drums is clearly stated on the receipt, I go back in after 30 minutes. The young lady hand me my food and I leave I get all the way home only to open up my package because they didn't verify it there nor did I I just took it and left. I got a six piece but it's not all drums. It's mixed with flats and I do not eat flats And there was no extra seasoning on the lemon pepper. They look like regular fried chicken pieces no seasoning whatsoever and also it wasn't even hot. I live literally four minutes away from this Wing Stop. Unfortunately there was a finger nail in my container were the wings were. Barffff. I know it wasn't mine because it was too small, the nail was a different color than mine, and I ate with a fork.
