It was my first time trying Waba Grill with my wife we got the spicy chicken and dumplings service was friendly genesis and lina were both very attentive to us the only downside was i got a salmon bowl to go and it didn't taste good at all. The food was just OK. The rice wasn't even warm. It was like room temperature, but my main problem is the chick behind the counter. Her name according to the receipt is RUCHEE P. She's greeting everybody under the sun, but as soon as I get to the register, she gives me attitude doesn't say hello. I placed my order, she grabs the receipt and gives it to me doesn't say thank you or anything. Someone's behind me ordered at least three times more than what I did and got their order before me. I ordered one chicken bowl and when I went to ask about my order she walks back picks up a receipt doesn't say a word just shows me the receipt saying I guess it's coming. I get my drink and there were no lids available so again I walk back to the counter and tell her there are no lids. She proceeds to ask me there's no lids? Duh, didn't I just tell you there were no lids over there so she walks back over to the food and starts putting sauce and closed up peoples containers and when she was done with that, then she walked away and went to the back and brought out lids and put them in the Placement spot and she walks away if she does not like African-Americans, then she needs to quit her job and find something else that does not deal with the public because I really think that she totally was profiling me because I kid you not everybody who came in contact with her before and after me got the biggest greeting and smile and I was looked at like I was an alien from Outer space. Contacted Waba spoke to Genesis who was speaking to Mexican cook manager, manager Raj, was not available. Im a big fan of Waba Grill and still have never had in issue at any location. Today was more of what I witnessed by a Waba Grill Employee and since employees are the representative for the places they work at ,this location get 1star only because you have to pick atleast one. We placed our order, others were already waiting. We noticed a police officer waiting and I thought to myself to bad i was late or i would have bought his meal...other people were being called to pick up their orders... ours was most likely next. But the officer was still there waiting. I thought, he must have a big order. Well so did I... waiting 10 mins and finally my order was ready... then the officer politely walked to the Employee and asked if his order was ready that he has already been waiting 45 mins. She pulled up a bag from behind the counter and set it in front of him, not saying a single word to him... It became very noticeable at that time that this place did not support law enforcement. Got a side of plain chicken no sweet and spicy seasoning How idiotic can you be you order sweet and spicy chicken bowl your next comment is extra chicken. Stupidity is what's ruining everything. Next. Every other waba grill I've been too loads the bottom of the bowls with rice. Maybe a quarter of my bowl had rice. I am an avid waba grill person. But man. I like the taste of their plant based meet but felt like some of the staff was rude... I ordered a bowl and the meat was cold, the rice was barely warm and the veggies were hot. I tried to mix it up to get it to be an okay temp, but I still couldn't eat it and I wasn't going home so I couldn't warm it in my microwave.... I felt bad to ask for a new hot one but im not trying to pay 12 dollars for cold rice & meat... so I go to let the cashier know "hey, I just got this and was trying to eat in my car but it's cold"... cashier was polite told the manager and the manager told me she didnt know what to tell me but it all comes from the same place, and told me she was confused how it was cold (like me too dude, I came here for hot food).... so I told her like I've had it before and it wasn't like this and she was like Im just saying it's gonna come from the same place... but she said she would remake it... and then while she was making it showed me the steam off the rice... I'm not sure what happened at this location but they are now giving out much less chicken and rice then before. I have been coming here for awhile now but I'm going to have to stop coming here. I ordered several chicken bowls like I usually do so that I don't have to meal prep for the week. It was expensive but was expected. The bowls use to piled with a ton of chicken. Now the regular chickens I received probably weight less than 1.5 ounces. I wouldn't mind so much if the price wasn't so high. I payed around $30 plus dollars for the chicken bowls. It looked like they gave me the same amount that would go into a kid's bowl. I will attach pictures and you can see for yourself. I don't know if they were running low on chicken and rice but I would have gladly waited longer for more chicken and rice to be made. You can argue but you shouldn't eat so much otherwise you will get fat. I had no idea you knew what was best for me to eat and that I'm supposedly clinically obese. This location has to stop scamming poor college students out of their money. We're already struggling enough with tuition and rent. Now you want kill us even faster by giving us less food than what we paid for? I could have easily went to top bowl and gotten my money's worth. For this reason unless you want to pay more for less, I can't recommend this Waba grill location. It's a shame to see this location go this direction. The other issue is that there bowls are just okay. These bowls are equivalent to Yoshinoya probably even worse at times. If the bowls were amazing I probably wouldn't care so much but they're just average. Another thing to point out. There was a family who dined in and there chicken bowls were filled with a decent amount of chicken and rice. It was almost toppling over. But since I ordered it to go, they thought that I wouldn't care and check it. So what was essentially done is I paid for several regular chicken bowls but I was given child chicken bowls in a regular bowl. Does that make sense? I was essentially swindled out of $10. read more

This was my first time here with my fiancé and we did the 2 for $11 bowl which consisted with chicken grilled and beef grilled over white rice simple yet filling and wait to come back and try something different on the menu I will be back finally something different other then your typical burgers and pizza. I have ordered from this location multiple times. I'm not sure why I never receive the sauce the my children love so much. No sauce on the meal and none on the side as well. It's so frustrating because the food is fresh and hot and we open our meals only to find out there is no sauce whatsoever. This has happened in at least 3 occasions. I have called, emailed, spoken to door dash and completed there sieverts explaining each time it happens. I was told a manager will contact me in 48 hours but that has never happened on any of the occasions. It's best to just go in and get it right as ordering his always a issue. read more

The flavors were medium and reminded me of yoshinoya, but the price was almost double yoshnoya's pricing! These franchises can be hit and miss, based on the owner, but I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the bowls at this location. The food is always great, fresh and full of flavor and the condiments are always laid out neatly with hardly anything out of place. I used to be a huge fan of Waba Grill until today. I showed up during the noon hour to order a simple waba bowl with brown rice. At the register I was informed they were out of chicken, it would be an extra five to ten minutes. I changed the order to steak and brown rice as I was pressed for time and didnt want to wait. The production staff was producing steak bowls very fast as there was no chicken so the steak orders were flying out of the counter. Somewhere around the 10 minute mark the chicken came out and all the focus was on producing chicken orders. At about 15 minutes, I took my receipt and inquired as to were my order was. I was told to hold tight, they were working on it. Another five to ten minutes I asked again only to be told they were out of brown rice could I wait another 5 minutes? I understand things happen but to be mislead three times was absolutely inexcusable, I asked for my money back and promptly left. I doubt I will go back. read more
