We chose to sit outside on the patio because it was less stuffy and loud versus sitting indoors. I ordered asada Cali fries and some other members of my party ordered beer, cocktails, taquitos and various tacos. Some friends selected al pastor as their protein for their tacos, and were informed that it was not available. Then we had an above average wait time for everything. We were told the kitchen was out of al pastor meat, so they would sub some tacos with asada/chicken/etc.. Then we were told the al pastor meat was located, and our orders were restored. Then I received my Cali fries with al pastor meat, which I had not ordered. I observed other members of our party wait for very inconsistent periods of time for beverages. I recall some receiving complicated cocktails before a canned domestic beer. The food and drinks were well enough, once it all arrived. We did not mind too much because we were all going out to another bar in downtown Riverside afterwards. My Cali fries had some strong papas because they held up to the ocean of melted cheese they were drowned in. It was more like a caldo. A couple members of the party had issues with their bills and our server was responsive to correcting any pricing issues. There is no longer merch, a mural, art or vinyl records for decor but the new owner assured us that they are working to have another local artist paint a new mural. An average experience, not bad! It was a good place to hang out and chat with friends, as we were not in any rush.

Although they advertise taco Tuesday (1/2 price tacos) and a la carte tacos, we were informed these options were only available until 12pm. The taquitos were pretty bland with good guac. Tacos were again, average, with somewhat flavorless rice and beans. The highlight of the night was the service. Patrick at the bar was friendly and playful. The holiday cocktail was delicious. Due to living nearby, we will probably be back to try again when the new owners have more time under their belts. Happy eating Yelpers!

They have such a large variety, which is hard to find at sushi restaurants. So far, my favorite has been the Magoto roll which has mango, sweet potato tempura, and avocado. I highly recommend coming here with a group of friends. They have plenty of seating, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back again!

First Visit Experience…read more My wife and I tried Sushi R 91 in Riverside for the first time, and overall it was a good experience with a few areas that could be improved. I ordered the beef ramen, and the flavor was great. The beef tasted really good, and the broth had nice depth. I do wish they offered more condiments on the table so you can adjust the broth to your liking--spicy, savory, etc. My food took a little while to come out, but it ended up being worth the wait. The price was also a big plus: $13.99 for a bowl of ramen, a sushi roll, and a drink is a great deal. My wife ordered two rolls--the Salmon on Fire and the Caterpillar Roll. Both were tasty and comparable to what we've had at other sushi spots. We also tried the gyozas, which were average. Customer service could use some improvement. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she seemed rushed and tried to take our order almost immediately after we sat down. Since it was our first time, we needed a moment to look over the menu. Overall, the food and value were solid, but the service and small details could be better. I'd rate Sushi R 91 a 3.5 out of 5.

Seriously -- I got a small for around $3-something (the exact prices are on the menu board), and the medium and large are only about a dollar more each. Check out the picture -- all three sizes are lined up together. And if you're thinking, "Okay, the boba must be cheap because it's low quality," think again. It was actually so good. The flavor was delicious, and the tapioca pearls were the perfect consistency: sweet, soft, chewy, squishy, and perfectly sunken to the bottom the way good boba should be. To be totally honest, my husband and I had walked in and back out of this place several times before finally trying it. The inside is very dark, and with the huge screen right when you walk in combined with the dark floors and tables, it's not the most inviting atmosphere at first glance. It could probably use a remodel -- but honestly, if remodeling means raising the prices, please leave it exactly as it is. We finally went in with friends, and the staff ended up being incredibly kind and polite. On top of that, they have a ton of add-in options: popping boba in different flavors, milk pudding, regular pudding, and so many other customization choices. That being said I truly appreciate the reasonable price point for consistently quality boba.

Fountain drinks are Pepsi products and they offer iced tea and Horchata as well as bottled water and drinks. I am not a fan of the self serve ordering system in all FF restaurants because it creates an invisible wall between the employees and the customer. Especially if you need help because you tend to become invisible too. Fortunately this location has good customer service and the employees are always willing to help.

Shes pretty much the reason why I come here, because I love her sweet smile and the way she quickly notices people coming in Just a warning, this place can be pretty expensive. The hot pot was pretty bland but I liked the sushi and the stir fry stuff I mostly come here to support the lady and enjoy the atmosphere. It also has tofu, fish, 3 big crab sticks, fishball, rice cake, cabbage, tomato, and part of a corn on the cob. If you like spicy but not super spicy, I'd suggest getting medium. This was a decent dish to have on a rainy day. Takoyaki (7/10) - It came out hot and crispy with nice texture. The inside was creamy and had a strong seafood flavor.
