    The steak

We came here to celebrate my mother's birthday and they made the occasion special! I got the scallops which I found tasty and tried some of my dad's steak, which I also thought good. The birthday dessert was yummy (I ate it because my mom doesn't eat ice cream. Score for me! Lol). The owners are friendly, and the establishment is not large. So it feels very much like community dining. It's a very unassuming spot, I've driven past it probably my whole life, but if you know you know. And reading this, now you know!

Took my wife here for her Birthday. The food was great. I had the sizzling ribeye and it was so good.

I've been here twice now and service is excellent! Probably one of the best service I have ever received. They are so accommodating! I went with my mom and sister and we all had bags that we hung on the chair. Our waitress brought over baskets so we could place them there instead, so our bags wouldn't fall, which was so considerate! The ambiance is peaceful and warm like a coffee shop. It's leaning more towards refined dining but still casual enough for everyday people. Pricing is on the higher end but expected from a higher end restaurant. The food is delicious and high quality! I recommend the hamburger steak and mentaiko pasta. And the coffee is one of the best coffees I have ever drank. Will definitely come back again!

I dunno how or why I'm only finally discovering WA Dining but here we are. In case you're unaware, this is a Japanese steakhouse so expect to pay a pretty penny to dine here. Now, let's talk food. Everything looks good but we opted for a steak omakase type meal consisting of a 5 taster appetizer, soup, tempura, steak, and dessert. The appetizer was a banger with an assortment of tuna, duck, cream cheese, tomato, and salmon. Yes, it's all fresh, and yes, it's all delicious. The soup was creamy and rich, I imagine they alternate it through the weeks but trust that you get good soup. Tempura was crispy and delicious without feeling overly oily. Yeah, I'm a fan. The steak? I got a ribeye and oof, the homemade steak sauce went amazing with the ribeye. Rich and juicy doesn't quite do it justice, anyway, just try it. The desserts are all good so just point and choose hah! So all in all, this is a delicious steakhouse tucked away in a quiet plaza so you may not know to even look here but if you do, you're in for a treat. So enough of that, come eat!

I LOVE Inaba soba noodle so I had to come check this place. I came here for Lunch, not sure if menu differs from dinner. hamburg steak was $20 and for +$3.50 i got nice amount of salad before hamburg steak and also iced tea with free refill and dessert! Hamburg steak was good but was not amazing like I was expected. but still for $25, I got salad, tea, main dish and rice and bread. and even dessert! and of course free parking on site so overall it's very nice lunch :) .

Always on the search for a good prime ribeye, I came across WA Dining - I-NABA Steakhouse on Yelp. Come to find out, it's the same owner as the I-NABA restaurant in Honolulu that I'm familiar with. After reviewing their menu online, I was stoked to see that they had a 5-course Chef's Omakase dinner. The photos of the food looked great, and the price was even better! The price depends on the main entree that you choose. We selected the 10 oz Prime Grade Ribeye for $65. Every course that we had was creative and delicious! The ribeye comes on a sizzling platter, so I'd recommend that you order it rare if you like medium rare, as the steak will continue to cook. It's not your typical ribeye that you'd get at a steakhouse like Flemings. It's smaller and not as well seasoned. It was also a bit fatty, but still tasty. Service was impeccable. The 5 courses came out in a timely manner and each course was explained to us in detail. All of the service staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself is rather small, so I'd recommend making reservations ahead of time. Although it's a steakhouse, the atmosphere is casual attire. They're located in an unassuming strip mall in Rolling Hills Estates. I'd definitely return and try another entree next time. Their 5-course Omakase dinner can't be beat!

Been here on 2 occasions and I have to say I'm always blown away by the quality of the food. Especially for this price point, the quality by far exceeds the costs. The food is always excellent here. This time I came for my birthday dinner. We ordered the tempura, uni & ikura pasta, yuzu pepper steak and the chicken wings. The best dish was definitely the tempura as the batter was perfectly light and well seasoned. The steak was on the tougher side but still had great yuzu taste. Definitely next time I'll have to do the omakase again as that was my favorite last time. The service was fast and very attentive. The waitress was even nice enough to prepare a birthday dessert on a last minute notice. The ambiance feels like a chill Japanese Living room. It's a great place to have an intimate dinner with friends or family or even a date! Definitely will be coming here again Food: 4.5/5 Service:5/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Course 4: saikyo-yaki black cod (this was my fiancé's course selection). Lightly sweet and silky!

My fiancé's family has a tradition of eating Christmas dinner at this steak house (they've been doing it every year since it first opened)! I was fortunate enough to participate for the second time and it's as amazing as I remember from the first time I ate here. The food is impeccably prepared: you can tell the chef really puts a lot of TLC into the dishes! I had the Christmas dinner course with filet mignon, and each dish was perfection. The whole course was so delicious that I regretted how full I was by the end of it, as I couldn't completely finish some of my food. Of course, I still had room for dessert somehow! My only gripe was that the rate at which the dishes came out was inconsistent, and we were left waiting for a while for our drinks and certain parts of the course. However, the staff is so friendly and really good at their jobs, and they still managed to go above and beyond our expectations. My fiancé and I both love their steak sauce and they allowed us to take some home (and even gave us a little more!). I'm looking forward to future Christmas dinners here. While it may seem like an upscale restaurant with a high-priced menu, the atmosphere and staff make you feel like family and you'll leave feeling warm and full of good food!

I'll jump to the end real quick because this is important .... no fault of the restaurant but in the parking area (I parked far enough so that my car wouldn't be hit by anyone) and some bozo still managed to swipe my entire side front end of my new car. Jerrrrrkoff move of the driver but I guarantee you that karrrrma is going to come back ten-fold to you. What comes around, goes around so I'm not worried about a fish being served cold to you, soon. Ample parking; however not great drivers. Everyone had 7pm reservations and the establishment did great in getting everyone to be seated in an orderly fashion. The staff was welcoming. One patron decided to be the a h o l e of the night and cut everyone in line as she believed she was entitled. Many people were upset with this. Totally understandable. The lady ended up going to the bar with her husband and friend. She is an embarrassment. Again, no fault of the restaurant. We had a great team who worked beyond hard and provided great service. Leo, Candy and Savannah were the main host and cocktail artists. Our server was Thomas. I believe we were so lucky to have him. He provided the utmost exceptional service. I'm all about great customer service and he was excellent. He definitely made our night. My sister and mom had made reservations and my husband and I had another reservation. We were able to sit together. Our daughter came but did not order since she was Keto and did not want to break her ketosis. Kudos to the chef! Everything was savory, heavenly and exquisite. The experience came with; 1st course: Deviled eggs, smoked paprika, crispy bacon, crispy potato chip 2nd course: shrimp cocktail, house cocktail sauce, basil aioli Paired with a limoncello martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka ENTRÉE: Top Sirloin au poivre, mashed Potatoes, grilled asparagus, brandy cream sauce Paired with a cucumber martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka DESSERT: Berry crème brûlée Paired with Key Lime Pie Martini featuring Grey Goose Vodka The price was very reasonable. I loved the limoncello martini and cucumber martini. Grey Goose is my favorite along with crème brûlée so I knew this night would be a good one. Thomas, is such a delight. We hope to see him again. We are astonished by his great service. His attention to detail all the time while providing excellent service with a smile. He was so friendly and made sure we and others were taken care of. This Torrance location has been one that we have come to since I was a little girl. It's really sad to see them closing but I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing all of these lovely workers at the new place. The restaurant has an old school western style and feel.

I brought my mom for Mother's Day, and we had a nice experience overall. We ordered the New York strip, the New York cross strip, a hamburger, asparagus, and potatoes. The food was solid and flavorful. The ambiance is lovely, especially with the upstairs seating, which feels cozy and romantic. However, the service was average -- nothing to write home about. Would we return? We're not entirely sure. It's a nice place for a special meal, but the service might keep us from making it a regular spot.

We ordered the bread (must have, no question), bluefin tuna, tagliatelle, wedge salad, ribeye, mashed potatoes, and butter cake - every single dish hit. Upstairs on the 2nd was the move. You get a great view, but the vibe is way more relaxed. They had March Madness on the TVs, which made it feel fun and easygoing without sacrificing the quality of the experience. The first floor leans more classic steakhouse, but upstairs strikes that perfect balance between elevated and casual. Service was also dialed in, they reset our table between courses, which is a small touch but makes a big difference. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to. Thank you!

No one checked on us, it took way too long to get served and when we finally did, it was with an attitude. Our appetizer order was also forgotten. The restaurant had only 2 tables of guests, including us. Shocking for a Saturday night. So the excuse of being busy isn't going to fly here. We will not be back. Although I enjoyed the food, being ignored and treated like crap doesn't make it worth it. If you want decent food, excellent service by the sea, I'd recommend going to Redondo Beach or Hermosa Beach. ANYWHERE but here!

And after a number of years patroning the Four Season's Beverly Hills brunch on Doheny I wanted to try something new. There's not many decadent, birthday worthy brunch options in our post Covid world. So when I found this one, read the menu and saw the price point I was ALL in. And my goodness it blew last year at the four seasons away by a lot!!! (They dipped significantly after Covid - not the same value). The Trump had EVERYTHING you could want in a brunch. Sushi, free flowing champagne, prime rib, crepes, crab, waffles, eggs Benedict, pancakes, chocolate dipped fruit, breads, bagels, cheeses, salad, Korean short ribs, shrimp, shrimp scampi, pasta, omelettes, oysters, fruit & figs, and sausage & bacob. I know for a fact I am missing offerings. It was world class, A+ with live music and wonderful service. The views of the pacific were gorgeous on our blustery day. My goodness it was so pretty. We were not rushed at all. It wasn't cramped or crowded. I loved it! And I'd definitely make this a recurring birthday treat for him. It was absolutely worth it.
