Hometown unilaterally decided to trim a tree in my yard because they deemed it too close to my neighbor's shed...DESPITE my neighbor EXPLICITLY telling them not to. In order to trim said tree, they also trespassed on my property to access the tree. The result was a very ugly, stumpy, lopsided tree on my property. It was so bad that I had to have it removed completely. Hometown said they would do this for free...well guess what...they never showed up and I finally had to have it removed by someone else. Now trying to get them to remunerate me for the situation they created, and they are refusing to do so.
