He was rude, impatient, and physically pushed my hand while working, then became visibly upset when my polish smudged. I even felt the need to ask if he was okay because of how tense the situation became. No customer should feel unwelcome or uneasy during a service they're paying for. The overall environment was unprofessional, and I will not be returning. I cannot recommend this shop--especially to people of color--based on how I was treated.

I came in a 4:30 for a gel polish on my toes and overlay on my nails. I was directed to sit in the pedicure chair at 5:00. They started on my gel polish for toes at 6. And abt 6:45 I sat in the chair for my overlay on my nails... y'all they didn't start on my nails until 7:25. I walked out of the door at 8. At least if you have ppl sitting that long offer a beverage? I had to ask for something to drink. On top of this wait, there were two screaming children in there that screamed for an hr straight. It was ridiculous so bad that another customer needed to do 5 more mins of the gel cure and she said no, im ready to go I've been here since 3 and it was 7 when she left! They do a great job but prepare to wait a lifetime unless you come when they first open

Kiki did my nails. I have to be pretty disappointed in order to take the time to leave a review…read more I'm usually not hard to please when it comes to my nails, but this was a really frustrating experience. I went in for a dip manicure with a French tip on my natural nails. My nails were quite long when I arrived, and I specifically asked for a round shape. Instead, they were cut completely down and ended up looking square. I also questioned the base color, since it didn't look natural for a French manicure, but I was assured it would turn out fine. Unfortunately, it didn't, and the lines were uneven and barely visible against the white base. Now, just two days later, the gel top coat on four of my nails has already started peeling. While the woman at checkout was nice enough to acknowledged that I was unhappy, no solution or correction was offered, just an apology. I ended up paying $50 for what is easily the worst dip manicure I've ever had. I definitely won't be going back.

I am sorry to say that today I am not highly rating this business…read more I have been receiving services here for almost a year, and today was the worst. I had a 3:45pm appointment and was not assisted until almost an hour later. There was no compensation offered and not even an acknowledgment until at least 30 minutes after I arrived. If appointments are not going to be adhered to, then why have them? It should not matter if you're busy, that should not overstep an appointment. This was the second time I experienced this, as my last appointment was the same and when I checked out, the gentleman did not want to give me the $5 gift card I earned, on an email promo. Once I was finished, I went to pay. I had a $5 gift card from my last appointment, which I received from a discount text, that I had to prove I received, for $50 plus, services. I also received another text for a $5 discount if I received services of $50 plus. The guy that checked me out (same gentleman as before; I am assuming one of the managers) stated I could not use 2 discounts, I explained I only wanted the $5 card for my next visit, especially due to the almost hour wait and I still spent $100. He said he would not. At that very moment, I decided I would no longer patronize Milano Nail Salon in Germantown. When you consistently spend over $100 on nail services, IX monthly, there should be some consideration when appointments are not kept by the staff. I can say that Trang has ALWAYS been very welcoming and does a superb job and Emilee & Henry are great at their jobs. Respectfully Submitted, Sabrina Walker
