Do Not Book This Cleaning Service - Unprofessional, Incomplete Work, and Zero Accountability…read more I hired this company for a move-out cleaning of my 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment at a quoted rate of $550. From the start, their lack of professionalism was apparent. 1. Late Arrival & Excuses: They were scheduled to arrive at 8:30 AM but only notified me at the exact time that they'd be late due to cleaning another place late the night before. They didn't show up until 10 AM, despite knowing I had taken time off work to be there. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience, they suddenly mentioned waiving a "last-minute booking fee" - a charge I was never informed about until it was convenient for them. 2. Incomplete & Poor Cleaning: When I returned at 3 PM, the apartment was not properly cleaned despite being completely empty. Some of the worst issues included: * Kitchen drawers left untouched, still containing items. * Guest bathroom tub & washer/dryer covered in hair and dust. * Master shower left soaking wet with no attempt to dry it. * Floors still dirty--my feet were black just from walking around. * Sliding doors, window sills, and vents still filled with dirt and debris. * Microwave left filthy with chunks of food, including a piece of pizza. * Washer & dryer surfaces untouched--covered in dust and grime. 3. False Promises & Ghosting: * I still paid them $550 in cash plus a $50 tip, trusting their promise to return Monday at 9:30 AM for a touch-up. * Over the weekend, I found even more areas they had missed and messaged the owner. Instead of taking accountability, she responded with excuses and an attitude, claiming I was "overreacting." * On Monday morning, I texted two hours before the appointment with a list of areas needing attention. No response. * 9:50 AM: Texted again--no response. * Called twice--no answer. * They never showed up, never responded, and completely ghosted me. 4. Scam-Level Service & Unprofessionalism: This business is not experienced, not professional, and absolutely not worth your money. The owner is rude, dismissive, and unaccountable. If you want to waste your time and money on a half-done cleaning job with horrible customer service, then book them. Otherwise, stay far away. I paid $600 for nothing and had to clean my apartment myself after they left. This was a complete scam. Avoid at all costs. THIS WAS NOT A POST CONSTRUCTION CLEAN. There was minor droplets of paint on the floor that they agreed to clean. if they felt that cleaning the paint would be too much to cover and cause them to neglect other areas that were necessary to be clean for a move out clean, they should have communicated that to me ahead of time and then I would've agreed or disagree to either pay more or for them to not clean up the paint, instead that was not communicated. It was only stated after I expressed that I was dissatisfied with the work that they did . Mind you there was still paint on the floor afterwards anyway that I had to clean myself including the other areas they missed. again every time I found a fault in their work they justified it with whatever excuse that they could find. after posting this review from the owner basically telling me that she was going to give me a partial refund, but then she went on yelp and saw this review. after going back-and-forth, I explained to her that it's clear we are never going to see eye and if she can give me a half refund, she said that she did not feel that I deserved half a refund so I told her OK send me whatever the partial refund is that you were going to send and we can be done with this. She then LAUGHED AT MY MESSAGE and never refunded me. They were even sent videos and pictures of the home prior to showing up. Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of photos there was much more missed but that's because I didn't plan on making a review if they came and fixed everything. None of this is malicious it's just to warn others. I paid them and TIPPED them in good faith and ended up getting burned in the end.

The worst part was when I arranged this cleaning, I made sure I get a receipt upon payment but this did not happen. The guy just left complaining I am not patient. As I had to give a receipt to my management company, this was extremely important to have a receipt upon payment. Also, the level of cleaning was not good. It did not meet my expectations at all. I would have to take another hour to clean the floor to get rid of the dirts. I was expecting a professional cleaning but I felt like a person that does not really have experience. I was also expecting at least 2 people would come clean my unit. Considering the price, the cleanness and service are not really acceptable. My husband and I just completed renovation of our forever home and researched cleaners on Yelp for…read morea post construction clean. We interviewed 4 cleaners. We really liked Ingrid and Jesse the most from our in person interview, and hired them despite being close to double the price of the next lower bid because we had hoped to have them as our long term house cleaners. They came and cleaned the house doing a decent clean as if it were a general home clean but they did not do a thorough post-construction clean, which was clearly what they had estimated for. After the clean, there were tape residues left throughout the house on tile floors and counter tops (some shown below are more visible because of subsequent dirt accumulation). There were grout residues on most tile surfaces. And, several other small cleaning details were overlooked that shouldn't have been. As busy as we were during the move, I didn't address this until I received the invoice a month later. I sent an email to Ingrid over 3 weeks ago about our disappointment in their services and followed up with a text, and I still have not received follow-up. I can't recommend their services to anyone.

I needed her services because my Mom had recently passed and my condo needed some serious cleaning TLC! She sent a crew as proposed, however the scope of the cleaning project changed somewhat. Her site manager, Zenon, was wonderful at asking questions and being very thorough as we walked through my home. He offered additional suggestions where appropriate and listened to my needs. He was incredibly polite, kind, and attentive, showing incredible attention to detail with each new room we walked. Zenon reported back to Ingrid the small changes that he recommended based upon now being in the space, and Ingrid communicated back to me that everything was good to go. The team of three men worked hard the entire time. There was no down time - I could hear vacuuming and mopping and activity going on continuously. They were very careful with my personal belongings and respectful of my home at all times. I plan to use them for my regular cleaning needs monthly and for a future additional deep clean in about two or three months from now. Their customer service has earned my ultimate trust 100%. The total final cost came in at the lower end of Ingrid's estimated quote, and although I did not necessarily expect that, it was a pleasant surprise. Zenon also shared that they can move/haul away unwanted items. I know I will need their services in this area too at some point in the next year. One last thing: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Read that again. There is no discount when it comes to certain things, and I believe housekeeping is one of those things! If you are trusting professionals to do a good job, not break or damage your things, and wanting them to not use cheap chemicals on your personal belongings and in your home, you need to pay for it. The price I paid was the amount of my budget I had hoped to spend. Don't cut corners when it comes to this! I cannot stress this enough.

As a vacation rental owner, were initially impressed with their sales pitch. Jason promised that as…read morelong as we provided pictures with explicit details, they would use a binder, prepared specifically for our property to go room by room and leave the property exactly the way we asked, to include any details that we wanted like watering our plants and checking the internet service each time as a final check. None of this ever never happened and we had to constantly remind them to do things the way that we had asked. There was one instance where the cleaning and staging were so bad, that we had to bring in a 2nd cleaner who worked alongside me to set things up the correct way, all within a very short window between guests. I eventually discovered that "VacayClean" does not actually do any of the work. They only subcontract other cleaners from other cleaning companies to come in and do the work for them! This realization explained why it was actually "MaidinOahu" doing the work when we called. "MaidnOahu" gave us a very professional response and a full refund for this day, which we were thoroughly pleased with. We agreed to continue to work with them after they agreed that they had not held up their end of the deal. Then, when we contacted VacayClean to book the next quarter's cleanings, we were told that they had no availability. We felt that this was obvious retaliation since their subcontracted cleaners had eaten the costs, leaving us without a vetted cleaning service for our upcoming bookings. This was perhaps the most unprofessional aspect of this entire experience. Overall, the first couple of cleanings were good, but none of the stagings that we had agreed upon were. Eventually, and with constant coaching, they came closer to the standard that they themselves had promised, but it was still nothing like the quality and reliability we had been promised by an extremely convincing sales pitch. Summary: There are an infinite number of good cleaning services in Waikiki. VacayClean is not one of these services since they are a cleaning service booking agency. We did not receive the services promised. I do not understand any of these 5 star comments, perhaps they are employees or friends since this was absolutely not the same experience that we had.

We have used their deep cleaning and recurring services twice so far for a 4bdrm/2bthrm home, and already have booked again for upcoming cleanings. Jason is extremely responsive, and he even made suggestions on what home items we could use to save on costs in the long run, e.g. sturdy stone bath "rugs" that we can replace our white cotton ones with since ours get frayed and require constant cleaning, Citrus Magic Fallon showed us areas of the house that the last cleaner completely missed, e.g. parts of the stove under the burner grate, around the stove knobs, etc, and it was lovely to converse with them to learn some of their cleaning secrets/products. They are easy to work with and so far other reviews echo the same sentiments. We learned that they also do outdoor power washing services for the outside of the home, which we plan to do sometime soon. They can even do some outdoor cleaning if we need those services.
