I've visited VPho on two separate occasions. On the first visit I ordered the House Combination Pho and Spring Rolls. The pho was mediocre at best. The broth is the foundation of the pho! If the broth is not good, then the pho is not good, regardless of the ingredients! The broth lacked flavor! It seemed really watered down to me. The Spring Rolls were very good! The peanut sauce was excellent! On my second visit, I ordered the Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Vietnamese Soup) and Spring Rolls. The Bun Bo Hue was awful! I hate to describe it so bluntly, but it was the worst Bun Bo Hue I've ever had! The broth was just terrible! The Bun Bo Hue here at VPho is the worst dish I've ever had in any Vietnamese restaurant! After eating this and the lack luster pho, I really question the skill and ability of the chef in the kitchen! The service here is very good! The Spring Rolls are very good! The pho and Bun Bo Hue are NOT good at all! Unfortunately, I will not be able to review anything else from their menu since I do not plan on returning! If you want pho, go somewhere else! read more

4 stars for ambiance and service; 3.5 stars for food Decided to try out this new pho place although I noticed that many of the 5 star reviews were given by single review yelpers which appears to be a common promotional technique with new restaurants. Parking was easy, dining area is clean, bright and quiet which we liked. The young lady cashier/waitress didn't come across very experienced but was very pleasant and attentive. We liked the cucumber water and ordered conservatively. The chicken wings (~3 stars) came within minutes after ordering, the sauce smelled great but that was about it. Two large wings cut into four pieces were heavily coated, probably made earlier and refried. We were disappointed at the thick hard crust and dry and flavorless meat. Combo pho (4 stars) was pretty decent, the broth was hot and tasty, good amount of brisket, raw beef, tripe and tendon. I wish they can be more generous with the broth and herbs. Shaken beef (3.5 stars) Filet cubes stir fried with sweet peppers over some iceberg pieces, it was just ok but nothing special. Prices are reasonable compared to other pho restaurants in the area; I hope they improve on quality of the food but do see the potential. Will visit again and hopefully see good progress. read more

The service is slow! Literally sat there for 10 mins and no one came to take our order and it was literally only 3 tables that had customers. I had to call them to place an order. The pho bo and ga taste bland! Literally just taste the overwhelming anise but nothing else. The pho looked pretty sad. Also never came and ask us for refills on our water. At the end had to walk to the cashier to order. Also after paying realized that there was an automatic 18% gratuity charged even though our party was 5 people. Usually it's 6 and up. I didn't know that in advance and added another 15% tip on top of that. Seriously they didn't deserve the 18% gratuity when I had to asked for everything. Probably they know they are getting a tip already so they don't bother. Never again! read more

Food is good, service is ok The only thing i dont like is whenever i came in they always have me sit out the bar table for 1-2guests. This is the third time i have been there. All three experienced i had to sit in the bar, i have to ask them myself to sit inside the actual restaurant table were everyone was sitting. FYI: those table were not full , still have available table for more guests read more

The service was nice. Their herbs were wilted and bruised. The Pho broth was very flavorful and hot. We had spring rolls also it was average and comparable to other Vietnamese shops. My son went to use the restroom he said that it was a dirty and could be clean. read more

A V(ery) Phogettable experience. The food was tasty and works well with the colder weather we are having. The inside is quite simply decorated and there's plenty of parking since its next to a safeway. I had the avocado cheese rangoon and house combo pho. I definitely knocked a star off because it took so long to get the cheque. read more

Best I have had close to Campbell. Much better than LeQuy. Got the combo pho, was very good. Noodles had good texture to them, broth was very good. Could have used a few more meatballs and tripe. The side veg seemed to have a little age, but was still fresh. Son got the Bahn Mi with pork. The meat and bread were both good. It could have used 2x the veg it came with but was still good, but with more veg it could have been great. Other son got the Bún (Vermicelli noodle) with beef. Everything was good, but was a little lite on the meat. He left wanting more food, but he eats a ton. Also got egg rolls and pork buns. Egg rolls wrap and meat both good, but a little smaller than I come accustomed to for Vietnamese Egg Rolls. No complaints about the pork bun. Service and cleanliness were both very good. Value seemed on par with other places I've been lately with prices going up across the board. Was a pretty light crowd of a Friday lunch. Hope it picks up because this place deserves to stay. read more

Had the oxtail and it was tough, eventhough it was supposedly braised for 3 hours. The broth was bland and all I could taste was "Chinese five spice"seasoning. The egg rolls were tasty, but greasy. Not my favorite. The place was very clean. read more

We came back late and wanted to get pho near us. This place popped up that was new and I guess under a soft opening. It is in the Safeways super market parking lot - lots of parking, can't miss the big pho sign here. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staffer who helped us was really nice and friendly. I enjoyed our pho that we got that evening. The kids loved their pho as well since they kept on asking for more noodles. Will come again to try other foods on the menu. It was quiet inside since there is not more publicity on it. We were happy with the intimate setting. read more

The food is amazing here. It was recommended to me by a stranger and without a doubt a good recommendation. The dry noodle soup is extremely flavorful so was the regular pho. Appetizers are also good. Place is nice and clean AND the lady that serviced us was attentive. Went back the next day. Oh, the fried rice was good too. read more

Pho was delicious as well as the Pork Vermicelli. Service excellent! Take out was great with everything packed nicely. Store is bright and clean. Parking is good! read more

VPho is aptly named. Their pho is their best dish, in my taste. I've tried a lot of local pho bowls and it's definitely up there in this area, both times that I've been here. I don't feel the same way about their other dishes. Iced coffee, fried tofu appetizer, and the rice dishes are underwhelming. Not gross in any way, just lame. However, I still highly recommend their pho. I would for sure come back here and only order the pho. Service has been very friendly every time I've come here. Clean as well. read more

The food was OK, but the service was abysmal. Moreover, they added a 18% service charge for our group 12. What's the point. Individual servings were timed all over the place. We usually ask for separate checks and they could no longer do that. First stage of business failure coming. Bad attitude and one waitress running her legs off. Sad. read more

I was really excited to try this place out after looking at the pictures, but unfortunately the photos look better than the taste. I got the Rib Bone Pho and the meat on the rib was so difficult to eat! I guess I was expecting the meat to fall off the bone really easily after seeing that they cook the broth for 3+ hours (not sure if that's a long time for beef ribs but I figured it was if they specifically put that on their menu). I don't really like eating with my hands so I was trying so hard to eat it with my chopsticks and felt awkward eating it in front of my friend. What surprised me the most was that the noodles were cut into super small pieces. They were probably at most 1-2 inches long which made me super confused because I've never had noodles or noodle soup with the noodles cut into tiny pieces. So not only was the meat difficult to eat, I wasn't able to eat my noodles like I usually like to eat them. Another note is that the restaurant smelled really heavily of fish sauce. The smell was a little unappetizing for me but I guess my nose got used to it after some time. On the brighter side, our server was pretty attentive and came by often to check up on us and refill our waters. Make sure to bring some cash if you don't want to be charged an extra fee for using your credit card! I wouldn't recommend this place though as I think there are better pho places to spend your money on. read more

Came here at 10pm on a Thursday after work. Enjoyed some snacks and a drink. So excited for this place to be open! It's definitely the vibe. Fishbowl was delicious and exactly what my coworker and I needed after our shift. Everything was delicious, but the Shanghai Dumplings were definitely the favorite so far! We will definitely be back to try more things! Not pictured: mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice. So good! read more

Once again I was craving Pho on this cold night. I looked up the closest one to me and this one popped up so I gave it a try. The place has great aesthetic look inside and out. There as definitely a lot of people dining in when I went to get my order to go. Customer was fast and the gentleman was very friendly. The pho.... I got a chicken pho and it was okay. I would say good, but not great. The broth was really salty and the chicken was flat and bland. I was expecting better after seeing the stars on YELP: Tried it once, but I won't be going back read more

I've had better... the food arrived cold and completely flavorless. It felt like the food had been sitting out.

I understand this is a Vietnamese restaurant, however their dim sum is soooo good. Especially the ha gao (shrimp dumpling) and chicken siu mai. I appreciate their dim sum platter and soup dumplings as well. I have never dined at the restaurant itself, so I cannot speak on the service. however, when I order food to-go, the staff are very kind and friendly and always offer me water while I wait. it never seems too crowded, so if you enjoy a quieter place to have lunch or dinner leisurely, this seems like a good place to go. they have numerous other dishes and a good variety, but the dim sum is good. read more

Ordered delivery through doordash today and was hoping for a new saved store. I don't usually write reviews unless for extremely loved or extremely disappointed cases. Found a strip of plastic (to the point of it being shriveled/hard/crispy sound when touched) inside my chicken pho. Don't know if it was from the separately packaged boiled/very hot broth (hope not) or separately packaged chicken+noodles container. Regardless, it's a first for me and quite offsetting as plastic in high temperatures, especially broth, is not the most appealing... Please work on food handling and food inspection prior to cooking/packaging. Mistakes happen but this is quite significant compared to a strand of hair IMO. Other than that portions for chicken pho and oxtail pho was great, taste was good, but portion for the grilled pork rice plate was very small (or is this normal?) with about 4 pieces. read more

This place moved up to one of my top 5 pho spots! Service was amazing by every worker. The new owner, Sonny, was super friendly, introduced himself, and checked in frequently. We got the short rib bone pho. The rib was so tender it fell off the bone and this was the first time I didn't need to put hoisin and sriracha in my soup because it was so flavorful. Saigon wings were also really great! Bbq ribs plate also delicious! All plates were completely empty once we were done. Definitely will be coming back! read more

This place is amazing! I've been to a few other pho spots in the area and this is by far the best! Staff is friendly and service is quick!

New pho spot in Campbell. It's one of the better ones in this part of town but I'm spoiled with the really good pho in ESSJ so standards are not met. Pho is supposed to come out pipping burn your mouth hot but this one came out just warm. Only one lady working in the front so it was hard to get her to give us the check. The dining room is kinda separated from the counter so she wouldn't see us unless she's walking around to check on us. There's tables outside for those who want to dine out. Located in the corner of the Safeway plaza that has ample parking. read more

The broth here truly stands out! We got our soups to go and we will definitely be back! They had late hours but food was ready, there was no hassle, and they got our order right! The only down side, was they son't have egg noodle options here... but that's ok! We will definitely be back! read more

I really loved this place ! The atmosphere, the service, the food, but my only two complaints are that I hardly tasted alcohol in my drink, and there's no pate(liver spread) in the Banh mi sandwich. I ordered on doordash. My order was a Rib Bone Pho and a Ox Tail Pho. The food itself was what you'd expect out of Pho. I think it was cooked nicely and just fine. What I didn't like was that there is a $1 charge for fresh noodles. This was my first seeing a $1 charge for fresh noodles. The cost was very costly for the amount of food you get including the $1 charge for fresh noodle. I paid a little over $20 per bowl. I did not feel like I got $20 worth of Pho. Next time I probably would just order Pho Tai. read more

Had pork vermicelli bowl with egg roll. Egg roll was quite tasty unfortunately pork bowl was extremely bland. The fish sauce had no bite to it at all and the pork seemed like this bizarre lighter version of real pork. The ingredients were fresh however. The service was polite but essentially just drop the food at the table variety. Ambience was decent but it was freezing and drafty it couldn't have been over 60°. Not sure I'd give this place another chance although it's possible I just made a bad menu choice. read more

Atmosphere: A very nice upscale casual atmosphere, lots of space and tables. Price: about average, middle of the road. I didn't feel it was expensive at all ($15.99 for Chicken Pho). Food: The water was very fresh and had cucumber or some other fruit essence. Which is a nice change from the default tap water that alot of other restaurants do. The chicken pho was delicious! I think the best part was the broth flavor, which by default tasted great. They were also super generous with the amount of chicken (++ points) Service: Super attentive, fast, and respectful. read more

I was looking for a late night banh mi and I found this spot on Yelp. Ordered delivery - beef banh mi and a korean corn dog to satisfy my carby cravings. I thought it was cool that a pho spot serves drinks. I'll definitely have to stop by in person to try those. The banh mi was delicious!!! I only took off 1 star because the sauce was a little too salty but the pickled veggies balanced it out. The korean corn dog was yummy but not amazing. It had the crispy outside with potato and cheesy inside. Could've used a little sauce. Of course It's only right I try their pho soup to really give a thorough review. After trying the banh mi I have high hopes for the soup and will definitely be back. read more
