I highly recommend VPC Electric. I needed an outlet in my garage for a larger wine cooler/fridge. Friday Eddie came out assessed the area and provided me the quote before he left. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the call the work could be done the following Monday. Don't hire them! The electrician put 3 outlets in different walls for tvs (new house) all three need to be redone (walls patched and painted too) they are almost ceiling level. He also left our key and keyfob in the door! It was raining and we didn't know for 3 days. Ridiculous! I now will have to pay $1500 to fix this f-up when I've already paid $1000. I'm sure this is a reputable and prideful company. However, I recommend everyone do the math and trust your gut when quoted what seems a price gouge. Seriously! $1200 for less than 10 feet of wire, 3 outlets, 2 breakers, conduit, permit, and 3 metal boxes? Home Adviser estimate is approximately $240 to $285. Needless to say I did NOT do business with VPC. read more

I'm very happy to provide Vital this top rating as the experience from initial call to saying goodbye was nothing less than top notch. Had some issues with some interior lighting and wiring in an older home and was very concerned about the potential ramifications. I did a Google search and found Vital Power and Communications, Inc. (under "cdaelectrician.com", a little confusing to me but no biggie). I called first thing in the morning and Tim advised he could have his tech working a job in Post Falls in the morning come out that same afternoon about 1pm, but would understand if I found someone else before then. Mark gave me a buzz about 12:30 saying they were finishing up the job and were going to grab a sandwich for lunch and head over if it worked for me - it did. He and Brandon showed up at 1:45 without knowing my issues and quickly assessed the situation allowing me to explain what I was experienced and questioning me. Cleaned things up on the circuit so all was working and my wife wouldn't have to get ready for work in the bathroom the next day again using a flashlight. (Thank you!!!) Very reasonable pricing and excellent communication and workmanship, totally impressed when expecting the worst not knowing how bad things could be. They rocked it! So grateful.
