One was about 14 foot up and another two about 12 foot high. The rest could be reached with a step ladder. They charged $500. Seems excessive for the less than an hour and a half they spent. The quality of their work was great, they wore shoe coverings and vacuumed up their work areas. I was just dismayed by the amount they charged. (originally rated one star) They didn't simply unplug the old and plug in the new. They removed an adapter from the hard wired smoke detector and wired in a new plug. (less then 5 minutes per detector). I appreciated that they did the job right. Upgraded from one star to two, based solely on price.

Hell my son hired an electrician recently in the metropolitan area of Seattle and he was only charged $300 for the same time frame ... and his guy actually FIXED the problem he'd been hired to repair. High Energy did little but "assess", couldn't diagnose the issue, couldn't resolve the issue and yet had the GALL to charge $536. I have four rental properties in Spokane and you can bet I will NEVER AGAIN employ a company that thinks it's okay to charge $536 to NOT live up to the expectation for which they were hired. I asked for a bid to install one 240 outlet (which another company did for under $1000) and they gave me a proposal to replace the breaker panel ($13,000), all the upstairs outlets ($6700) plus $2000 for the 240 outlet. Total $20 grand!!! By the way my house is only 25 years old and we have had zero problems with our electrical system.

Dusty introduced me to his co-worker and they were both extremely friendly, clean cut, and well dressed. We walked the areas for installation and appreciated his recommendations, which saved us money.
