I was assured that this unit would IMPRESS but all it has done is disappoint. It does not heat or cool this VERY small space. Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively. I just find it disappointing that more locally owned businesses don't stand behind their work or their product. Are we a society that focuses on greed and not quality? My message to those consumers who might be considering EPIC, would be to keep on looking, you'll thank me later.

Nearly a month passed while the errant part wended its way towards Epic. They were recommended from another electrician who was booked out for 6-months. The big install was the installation of a Generac stand-by generator last October 2021. When Costco and other vendors couldn't find a stand-by generator for at least 3-4 months, Grotberg Electric was able to locate one and installed it in one day. The install was first rate and the customer service was 5-STAR. Over the past two days, we had power outages due to high winds. In both cases, the stand-by generator kicked-on as soon as the outage occurred and cut-off as soon as power was restored. The generator turned-off literally seconds before my text alert from Avista arrived to notify me that power was restored. I recommend Mike and his team at Grotberg without hesitation, and I give them my highest rating.

Turns out some backwards hill person wired my home and thats why we were tripping breakers every 10 minutes. Travis, Chris and Jake did a great job. I give Travis (the owner) the absolute HIGHEST recommendation possible. His a ridiculously hard worker, he was honest, and he doesn't sugar coat stuff. Once we got into the panel and the walls it was way worse than we thought but he didn't raise the price. He honored his original bid and just did A GREAT JOB. Their crew was done with the project in about 8 hours and we are thrilled with the results. All the electric is working perfectly now! NW Electric isn't the cheapest, but I'm pretty convinced they are the best. Electric isn't something you want to skimp on either, so go with these guys. OH, ONE LAST THING. Travis pulled the permits and scheduled the inspection and everything. The building inspector came this morning and told me that Travis is one of his favorite guys to inspect because he never finds anything wrong and all his work is so "clean". I started by getting an estimate from them in October of 2012 to have our hot tub wired up. Our…read moreestimate was given and, he fully explained how the price was reached, what was to be done. He also explained why things had to be done a certain way, very knowledgeful! After getting back our refund in Feb of 2013, I went forward with getting it wired up. His price was right on with his original estimate! I had him add in a second part to the original job as well. There was no light on the back door. He added the light and, put a VERY good light electrical outlet with it as well. He was extremely professional, curtious and his work was of very high quality. Even the inspector was impressed! He did an excellent job of keeping the work area cleaned up after the job was done. There isn't a trace of him being there. He also arrived exactly on time (a little early to be exact.) If you need an electrician, this is the person to call!
