This is normally my spot for Salvadorean food and they have been ok for the most part. However, the quality of the food seems to be diminishing. On the last 3 occasions, the panes con pollo are no longer desirable. The bread is hard and stale, never fresh. Some ingredients like beets and escabeche are no longer included, yet the price is the same. My last visit, 5/24, I asked if the bread was fresh and the cashier went to ask. She came back and said that it was fresh, yet when I got home, all 3 breads had been thrown on a grill, burnt and were hard. They were obviously old and the cook thought that burning it on the grill, the texture of freshness would remain. They should have been honest and I would have ordered a different dish. The chicken was salty and overcooked- truly disappointing, not just on the quality, but the dishonesty. read more

The worst service they all have attitude like they doing you a favor , this people needs a lesson do not buy from them they all nasty people .. like I tried better pupusas then their food !!! Worst service if I could give a 0 I would read more

I've been coming here a few years now. I always enjoy the food. Pupusas are excellent. BUT...the service seems to just be getting worse. It seems the owner doesn't want to pay for extra help/servers and so the service is terrible. I came on a Saturday and with 8 full tables there is only one poor young lady attempting to tend to all of them. Never once did we get asked if we need anything else. Had to waive her down twice so she could bring me a refill on coffee. I don't blame the workers but the blame's falls on the owner/manager. If they want this business to last, they need to do better with the service. read more

I was greatly disappointed- I ordered a gallina soup, for my dad in the hospital- and no chicken. I ordered yuca con chicharrón, and instead I received a grilled chicken with salad. horrible. never again. read more

Great value! Great size pupusas, you really get your money worth & they are filling. This place is too far from us or we'd visit more often but 100% recommend 4/5 because the wait can sometimes be long read more

The food was incredible - I highly recommend the Birria Pupusa!! Location is great too, right next to the mall. Prices are fair and good. The only down-side was the long wait (maybe order ahead), they make everything fresh!! read more

We give Vos Pupusas a 5 stars. The food is delicious, the pupusas and chile relleno are so tasty. We have tried the yuca, tamales, panes con pollo, enchiladas , empanadas and always the number 1 for breakfast. The staff is very friendly, they make you feel welcomed. The ambience is great, they always have music playing and or a soccer game. My father in law , my mother in law and husband goes at least 2 to 3 times a week. If my father in law could he would go every day. read more

Very very slow. Very. Took forever to get the food. I won't come back. They need more workers.

The most disgusting service I've ever seen. This is my first time coming in, the weird ass cashier was shoving her hands in her mouth in front of my face as I was trying to order. I took a moment to look at the menu and then saw her go over to the food and start touching the food in the kitchen. I left. EW. read more

If you're looking for good homemade pupusas that are filling, this is the place to go. Vos Pupusas is homemade fast food style housed in a restaurant. We stopped by for dinner on a Monday after work and almost all the tables were full. We ordered pupusas and an appetizer. The pupusas are large and one was more than enough for me. Everything was made fresh to order and the cabbage was delicious! The service was good even though they were busy. I didn't feel like we were being rushed out either when we had finished eating. They're located outside of the mall by chipotle and there's plenty of parking. There was one drawback, if I didn't have someone with me who spoke English there might have been a language barrier. I will come back when I have a pupusas craving! read more

Worst service ever! We asked for a check and box waited more than 20 mins. While server brought drinks for another table she could have brought our box and didn't, it's not like a box weights a lot. Honestly there's more to complain but that's a couple of things. Work more on the service and be more apologetic when you have people waiting. read more

Not the quickest service, but the food is good. Nice little family spot. I like their papusa revueltas.

Placed a to-go order placed and was told it would take 20 min. 40 min later, I asked about my order and they had not started it. Resteraunt was not packed. Had to ask for a refund. read more

This review is for the East Palmdale on 47th St. The pupusas were great! Not grease or dry , loved the real cheese. They are not cheep, however the size are average. Location is clean and plenty of spaced Also the restroom was clean and big. The service was good but there is room from improvements. The wait time was about 45 min to one hour to get your food if you are going to dine in however it looks like they do more online orders so you should order 1st and then. Eat them there if you like as a sugestión rather. They do take all mayor credit cards and friendly staff. This is not a fast food environment so keep that in mind. I will definitely go back. read more

Ave R and 47th Food is so good but this specific locations customer service is so bad. They don't even greet you or acknowledge you. Place has a cold feel to it and it seems like majority of the employees don't wanna be here. Workers are always gossiping before even attending you customers who have been waiting to have their order taken. This place would be such a better place if they worked on their customers service more. read more

I will give this place a 5 star for the food and a main peace of advise that you are located in a high profile location in the mall ring area and I highly suggest you go bilingual with your servers or you will be asking for trouble! The food is A1 authentic and if you do not k ow what to eat try the sampler platter it is 17.00 and you will get a taste of the cuisine all the way around! The look of the place is nice and comforting and they have another location in Lancaster so if you want your home cooking make sure that you have the server repeat back your order read more

We went to the location on 47th street and the service was horrible. We got there at 8:05 pm and everyone just looking at us and took 20 min for a guy to come and get our order. When he approach us he was so rude and took the order and left. The girls working at the kitchen was just looking around and looking at us and nobody will approach us to help. Service is not good. If you come to this location be prepared to wait. We had to approach the cashier twice for someone to help and still nothing. Overall food was good but the service is horrible. read more

Pretty solid place for Tamales and Pupusas as far as I've tried. The Tamales de Pollo are full flavor with a good balance of sauce to meat ratio and the Revuelta pupusas you can't miss on flavor is all there. Tried the Carne Guisado another time and that is a 10/10 plate. Strongly recommend. read more

I hate writing at times these types of reviews. I think that management should have employees who are preparing/handling customers food should wear thin plastic gloves at all times as other restaurants do, hands have GERMS. I hope that the owners/supervisors bring this to everyone's attention. The food is still great but I just don't like seeing this kind of operation. God only knows where the hand have been. Thank you! read more

Wow. Is what came to me when I opened up my to go box and saw my 6 Pupusas . Chicharrón. Beans, Asada and revuelta. They are definitely the best I have ever had and so affordable. And i. Had my share of Pupusas. I buy mine at Grand Central Market in downtown LA and their $5.25 each and way smaller and dry. These were huge thick soft and moist. I went there today around 12issh they only had about 4 tables they told us to have a seat anywhere we liked so we sat on a booth , we waited for someone to come and ask if we wanted anything to drink , never happens being patient waiting for over 10min and nothing a lady stepped to clean a table right next to us and not even acknowledged that we haven't had any service , not even ask if we have been taken care off by this point we just got up and left ! I've been here before the service is not that great but the food is amazing I think they just need to be more attentive in the customer service and checkin in with tables. It's really disappointing to want to eat somewhere and the service is not good read more
