    Food was cold cold
    Michelle A.

If I could give negative stars I would!!!! There are two girls in there today. SO RUDE!!!! Argumentative, cold food, once I brought it up to them and they started arguing with me and telling me that I was wrong laughing at me. I felt ridiculed!!! I even empathized with not being able to speak English well and started speaking Spanish to them and even then they were still being rude. One of the other customers said something about their behavior towards us and she made a comment stating I was lucky because today she was calm?!? Now we're fighting customers??? I will not ever be going back and I am telling everyone I know how bad this was. I am in total disbelief. I work in customer service and I would not EVER treat any one like that!

No la recomiendo. Verdura finamente picada

Se me antogo un 7mares y agarre un 7 verduras. Que barbaridad. 45 minutos que espere la sopa era 80% verdura 20% seefood. Por 48 dólares no vale la pena.

    De Queso (cheese)
    Jacqueline A.

The pupusas were pretty good but the wait was waaaaay to long. I had ordered 8 revueltas and 4 de queso and it took over an hour. I called at 7PM and was told they would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at 7:20 and by 8:10PM I was out the door. I kept asking the waitress how much longer she kept saying 5 minutes (5 minutes turned into 40 minutes). When I arrived there was only a family of four waiting and they had not even ordered as of yet. If I am around the area I may stop by but I would not go out of my way to return. The pupusas were pretty good and they were not too greasy. I believe they were a good size and they weren't stingy with how much they stuffed in them. The place was nice and clean and the waitress was nice but the wait was not fun.

Not meat pechuga on order of caldo de gallina.
    Nrs S.

Seriously not happy that I paid over $10 dollars on a caldo de gallina de pechuga con ala and the "pechuga" was the smallest famine piece of pechuga I have ever seen. At first I thought they forgot my pechuga piece, and only put in the wing, but upon further inspection, I realized it was the pechuga with the wing. This is not only and insult to your customer but also a rip off. If for whatever reason as a restaurant your purchase of your chickens yield really small portions, its your responsibility as a restaurant to make sure you don't pass your purchase mistakes or cheap choices to the customer. I would understand this meatless bone mascaraed of a pechuga if I was in a foreign country but for $14 I better have some meat on my chicken! I didn't order skin and bones so don't try to apologize for your conscious decision to sell me that. Unfortunately for me, i was not the one who picked up the order to go, because I would not have paid for this disgrace. To those reading my review, just look at the lemons in the picture for reference, and see for yourself. I am a very fair reviewer, I understand wait times, or once in a while your flavors were off, but I do not forgive cheating me.

Timing on serving needs to improve. Food is good overall but the service pre-covid and during covid can get much better.

Not only was the cheese, the artificial kind that you would get at a baseball game or something, but they had it loaded with what I believe to be at least one complete jalapeño sliced up. 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service! Somehow this only equals 5 stars!…read more The food was as authentic as I've had and I've eaten my share of Salvadoran food and there are several eateries in the high desert area to choose from. The gold standard is the flavor and texture of their pupusas along with their cortido and red sauce. The revuelta, bean and cheese pupusas meet the mark. In addition you can't beat the prices as the more pupusas you order the less expensive it becomes. Everything we had was sabroso! Combo tipico, desayuno tipico with ham, pupusas, salpicon and yucca frita amazing. Their ensalada drink was some of the best I've had too. The ladies at the register and the kitchen are fast and efficient as my order was ready upon arrival. Second time back in a day visiting my Salvadoran family. I love the food of mi gente. Sorry no pics! I inhaled every bite!

I loved the ambiance of the restaurant as it was very peaceful and calming . I loved the food as well we ordered the Papusa's as they are on special Wednesday/ Thursday's. And the birria tacos. I have never felt so insulted at a restaurant…read more When my partner and I walked in, there were only two tables available one small table for two people and one larger table for four. The two young ladies ahead of us (also a party of two) placed their order first. My partner and I chose the four-person table, which made sense for us, and I was literally about to walk up and order our food. Before I could even order, one of the workers was sent over and used hand gestures and motions to tell my partner to get up from the table, saying he "couldn't sit there" because the other party's food was coming out first. Mind you the other party was also just two people and could have easily used the two-person table. The way this was handled was embarrassing and degrading. We weren't spoken to respectfully -- we were motioned at, in front of other customers, as if we had done something wrong or didn't deserve to be there. Being asked to get up from a table you're already sitting at is humiliating, period. If seating is based on who orders first, then this place needs clear rules, numbers, or communication, not staff waving people away and making them feel small. The situation was completely avoidable and handled in the worst possible way. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was shocking. We left feeling singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected and will absolutely never return

Just don't eat here!…read more We originally wanted to go to the Peruvian place around the corner but they had a "B" health grade so we passed on that. There was a couple tables seated inside this resident so we said "why not, let La try something new". First off they don't have a restroom or it wasn't operational or the Linda at the counter didn't feel like being helpful. We just wanted to wash our hands prior to eating. We ordered the pupusas special on their menu which is 2 pupusas for like $5.69 or something close to that, and one additional cheese and jalapeno one. When she brought the condiments to our table she spilled them which was no biggie. I offed to just wipe it myself. Our food came and we got 4 pupusas. No big deal we weren't gunna complain. Food was below subpar, no flavor and the masa had an off putting smell. As far as the food goes I would NEVER come back here, now would I recommend this place. I wanted to put the tomato based sauce on my pupusas but it was crusty and and when I opened it there was mold growing in the lid. Unfortunately I didn't see this till after we left. We went to pay our bill as she assumed and up charged us for bigger pupusas than what I had pointed to on the menu. When I asked her about it, she said that she assumed that's what we wanted. I let her know that I wanted what we had pointed at in the menu. When I asked her to refund us the difference she said she couldn't because the manager wasn't there and if I wanted to come back. All of this with a very entitled attitude. If there were zero stars, I would rate them that. Incredibly unhappy with my experience here and I'm shocked they're still in business.

I misread the sign that showed what was included for options so I ordered a super papusa with only chicharron and queso. The cashier gave me a confused look but still proceeded with my order. Super papusas are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays The menu was only in Spanish only so it might make it a bit difficult for people who don't know Spanish or can't use a translator app. Anyways even though I botched my order the papusa they gave me was still good. It was very big (~1 foot in diameter) and has a nice crunch and the cheese was gooey. They also gave me curtido as an appetizer. The curtido had a nice crunch too and the hot sauce that was included was not that spicy.
