This has been my second time coming to this restaurant and from all the Salvadoran restaurants I. The Antelope Valley, this one is at the top. The service was friendly and the food was delicious! It's a diamond in a rough. But don't take my word for it, come try it yourself. - Your fellow Foodie

Great place to have a few drinks and enjoy music and the vibes. Our favorite is the Botana Especial and pupusas revueltas which can't never go wrong! Friendly staff and the service is great!

This photo explains: The owner ONLY prioritizes family and friends. Horrible morale, etiquette, and business practice. People are coming in and paying $$$, why have a restaurant then if you don't respect regular customers and only respect your family and friends? This is the feeling I received when I went there, and now it's confirmed it's a fact. Pathetic.

First of all, I gotta say I was very excited to find a Salvadoran restaurant. When I called the person so answer the phone seen very knowledgeable and friendly. I placed my order. To my surprise the food was nasty nasty nasty nasty. I'm not sure if I was their first customer of the day or what because my food seemed old and if they tired to refried it once again. 8m very disappointed beacuse again customer service was great. Place seemed clean. But their cook for that day at least HAS GOT TO BE FIRED PRONTO.....

This place is one of those that I'm not sure if I should give a good or bad rating so I'm going with half of that. (2.5) The food gets a 5/10- We were a party of 10 and everyone ordered different things, most of us said the food wasn't as good. There were however some good things like the Papa Rellena and Sea food soup, however the pupusas where not good at all. They were more masa (dough) than cheese and needed salt. It's Salvadorian restaurant, if any food is going to be good, pupusas should be it. Service gets a 6/10- The waitress was nice the entire night and served us pretty well. However, we had to ask for napkins, forks/knifes/spoon, water, extra curtido, etc ourselves and it shouldn't be that way. Atmosphere gets a 9/10- This is were the tricky rating comes from... if you're coming for the atmosphere and to drink and dance, then most deff come here. They had karaoke and a DJ on sunday night and there are lights and a dancing space, however if you're eating with people you won't be able to hear them. Overall, if you're coming to have a casual night of fun come here. If you're coming for the food, go somewhere else...

I have never felt so insulted at a restaurant…read more When my partner and I walked in, there were only two tables available one small table for two people and one larger table for four. The two young ladies ahead of us (also a party of two) placed their order first. My partner and I chose the four-person table, which made sense for us, and I was literally about to walk up and order our food. Before I could even order, one of the workers was sent over and used hand gestures and motions to tell my partner to get up from the table, saying he "couldn't sit there" because the other party's food was coming out first. Mind you the other party was also just two people and could have easily used the two-person table. The way this was handled was embarrassing and degrading. We weren't spoken to respectfully -- we were motioned at, in front of other customers, as if we had done something wrong or didn't deserve to be there. Being asked to get up from a table you're already sitting at is humiliating, period. If seating is based on who orders first, then this place needs clear rules, numbers, or communication, not staff waving people away and making them feel small. The situation was completely avoidable and handled in the worst possible way. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was shocking. We left feeling singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected and will absolutely never return

Just don't eat here!…read more We originally wanted to go to the Peruvian place around the corner but they had a "B" health grade so we passed on that. There was a couple tables seated inside this resident so we said "why not, let La try something new". First off they don't have a restroom or it wasn't operational or the Linda at the counter didn't feel like being helpful. We just wanted to wash our hands prior to eating. We ordered the pupusas special on their menu which is 2 pupusas for like $5.69 or something close to that, and one additional cheese and jalapeno one. When she brought the condiments to our table she spilled them which was no biggie. I offed to just wipe it myself. Our food came and we got 4 pupusas. No big deal we weren't gunna complain. Food was below subpar, no flavor and the masa had an off putting smell. As far as the food goes I would NEVER come back here, now would I recommend this place. I wanted to put the tomato based sauce on my pupusas but it was crusty and and when I opened it there was mold growing in the lid. Unfortunately I didn't see this till after we left. We went to pay our bill as she assumed and up charged us for bigger pupusas than what I had pointed to on the menu. When I asked her about it, she said that she assumed that's what we wanted. I let her know that I wanted what we had pointed at in the menu. When I asked her to refund us the difference she said she couldn't because the manager wasn't there and if I wanted to come back. All of this with a very entitled attitude. If there were zero stars, I would rate them that. Incredibly unhappy with my experience here and I'm shocked they're still in business.
