The food is as authentic as comida salvadoreña should be! The ambiance is clean and relaxed ( fun fact they were playing rancheras lol ). I don't want to complain about the service but the only person there was overwhelmed and you can sense his frustration as he was the only person taking orders, serving food answering phone calls and helping customers that placed to go orders). We've been customers of theirs since they had a little trailer across the street from Vallarta and honestly their customer service was so much better. Today we came in and we waited about 5 minutes before a guy comes out to take our order. He didn't even greet us or anything, it was almost like he was bothered because we came in. Called to put a order in and the lady was some what rude. When I ask for the total so I could have cash she said she didn't have her note pad. So I ask if she had my order down. I been their customer since they had the food truck. The food and service was a lot better then. Now every time I order for take out there's always something missing and the customer service is horrible! I ordered for take out today and the lady charged my order and doesn't say anything after the transaction, I stood there and she looks at me and I said "my receipt " she says " is there" and points at the register. I was in disbelief she couldn't hand me my receipt. When I took my receipt she points with a tv control on hand towards a table on the side and says "there's your order". I walked over and grabbed the order. As I am coming out the door she runs behind me and says "you are taking an order that doesn't have your name", and takes a small bag off my hands. I responded that if she should have handed me the order instead of just pointing to the table and focusing on the tv. She turns away and leaves. Owner really needs to hire someone who enjoys working with people and can offer great customer service. read more

I've been eating pupusas since I was a kid. Although I love them I don't eat them often just because they're not healthy. So last night I treated myself and some friends to some from this location since we were on that side of town. When I called they said 25 minutes. Not exactly sure why because there was one customer dining in. Granted it was a rainy day. I ordered 2 carne asada, 2 bean and cheese and 2 cheese and jalapeño. There were maybe 15 minuscule pieces of meat in the carne asada one btw. All in all 6 of these cost me $22 roughly. I don't remember paying that much for 6 pupusas. I do understand food cost has gone up so possibly that's why it felt so expensive. I will say this... if I'm going to eat something unhealthy as a treat, I'd rather have a tamale from Lulu's (which by the way are cheaper). These pupusas didn't hit the spot for me. It could have been because they were sitting out for so long before I arrived (although I got there in less than the 25 minutes he quoted); or it could have just not been that great. Since I occasionally work nearby, I found Vos Pupusas and come here for the convenience. The pupusas are a good value for the price at about $3.50 each. I think the size of each pupusa is pretty generous. Generally I can be content after eating one and pretty full after eating two. Pupusa variations: The asada and cheese is my go to. The chicharron I found to be too salty. My favorite used to be the queso y loroco, but lately when I try to order online, it is not on the menu. I've also tried to type in the notes to add loroco to the plain cheese one, but it did not have any. After numerous visits, my biggest gripe is that they take so long to fulfill an order. I order ahead and it is almost guaranteed that my food isn't ready even after the estimated ready time and I end up waiting an additional 10-20 minutes. Not super ideal on a limited lunch hour. read more

We where recently there 4/5/26 we like to order by phone and for a while we stop coming here food was ok but the personal is trashy! So we tried giving this place another chance and as soon as we placed the order by phone the man who took the call has the worst customer service manners ever !! Horrible!! We still put the order and came in to eat and meet Me. Personality his in worse in person has no manners and super rude ! I told my husband to cancel the order and leave ! I love going yo Nenas you get a bit less food but I truly enjoy the service ! This man was obviously not happy and super rude and very disrespectful to my husband! He got the order wrong and didn't even apologize . I did not get his name but was wearing earrings and right after us the was rude to someone else who also complained! To Susan the owner we use to come eat there constantly but people like that ruin your restaurant! There was a young lady who took over his shift she was very good and very courteous. But unfortunately not sure if we would be back to many times experiencing the same thing and honestly there are so many other good places to go In Lancaster and Palmdale ! today, 11/21/25, i ordered here 2 hours ahead so i could swing by on my lunch break as quickly as possible to grab it. only for them to say "okay we'll start it now give us 15-20 minutes" when i get there. i say "how is that the case when my order window was 10:45-10:55?" (i even showed them the grubhub confirmation) and they still said sorry we can't do anything except start now. they confirmed my order when i placed it and ignored it when it came time to make it. i had to ask them to cancel it because i was actively on my lunch break and those 15-20 minutes they needed to cook were supposed to be when i was eating. if you guys can't handle online ordering, remove the option. now i'm forced to have ZERO food for my day. 0/10. never coming back here again. read more

The menu is in Spanish and the workers I encountered spoke limited English. They were a nice size with good flavor. Location on Ave L. Placed an order with uber eats. Driver did not bring drink listed on receipt. I call the restaurant and tell me to place another other for no charge next time. I want my drink today with my order. They told me they don't check the orders when picked up by uber! I think the employees should confirm what the uber drivers are picking up before leaving. It isn't just the uber drivers responsibility it's both parties. Business is business. Not ever using incompetent drivers or restaurants that over charge for food to begin with. I've always praised this place but it's time to move on to better places. This is the 3rd time that my pick up order is incomplete. I live 10 miles away from the place and didn't mind driving over to pick up. However, this last time, I decided to use Door Dash. Obviously took longer than expected (additional 40 minutes) than what the app said but that wasn't the issue. The order given was incomplete, so I had to call the restaurant. After paying for Door Dash a total of $32 dollars in additional fees, having an incomplete order is frowned upon. So I call the restaurant and was told that I could go pick missing item up- 10 miles away and 17 minutes drive, one way! I get there and no apology and what's worse? The order was wrong! Glad I checked before leaving. I told one of the ladies and her answer was "well, we have been busy" Really? So since the place is busy, it's ok to forget or not double check the orders? (Honest review) First impressions I walked in the restaurant is super clean almost as if I can eat off the floor so there are your first two stars Employees friendly attentive to what and how you place your order (required to be friendly no stars for that) I came in asked for pupusas to my surprise they were $3 kinda on the pricy side but I've seen worst i took a seat as they said it would be a 15 minute wait I was okay with that As I open the to go box I was amazed by the smell and heat coming from the box prep my pupusa and took a bite I was eh let down I read a comment saying it was pure masa and it was true it wasn't the best tasting as well would I give this place another chance? sure I look forward to trying to improve this 3 star into a 5 star read more
