Very decent revuelta pupusas here in lancaster. At first I was skeptical of coming here since I saw reviews of bad service but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed on how nice the gentleman on the phone was. I ordered 5 pupusas and Today Thursday they are $2.65 each take out minimum 5x. Very good pupusas and definitely will be back. read more

Prices for the pupusas was not true on Yelp even with all the pics of the menus, $4+ per pupusa. Not justified. The pupusas fell apart immediately and we couldn't taste the difference between the bean & ch and the mix. So we're not sure what we got. The curtido was good but the red sauce was awful. I regret going. read more

Recently had pupusas revueltas here and they were huge! Perfectly proportionate with the filling and masa. Service was good. A little pricey but the food was really delicious. Staff was friendly and joked with us a little. Will be back read more

First walking into Dona Blanca I was hit with the sweet and savory scent of freshly made plantains and pupusas. It smelled so delicious I decided to get the fried plantains, pupusas, and caldo de pollo. This place by far has the best salvie pupusas and I will be coming back! All the fresh flavors truly remind me of how my mom made them in El Salvador. The employees are also all very nice and welcoming! read more

This place has bad customer service. Usually we order pupusas on Thursdays because of the special they have. Today being Thursday we ordered five pupusas, Chileno de queso, an order of empanadas de Leche and an order of beef soup. When the lady gave me the total I asked, why was I being charged regular price for the Pupusas. The lady named Martha said that after 7:30 the order of the pupusa are charged a regular price because she has to pay employees 30 minutes more to stay to complete the orders. I told her that I understood the reasoning for the price change however as the owner or employee of the restaurant she needed to inform the customer of the price change after 7:30. She has the special on the board as well, but it does not say anything about regular price being charged after 7:30. The lady went as far saying that I didn't ask her about the special when I placed the order. I told her that I didn't think I needed to since I was placing an order for pupusa on Thursday. The lady Marta is so close minded she cannot see or understand that is their responsibility to inform the customer of the price difference after 7:30. She needs to give the customer the option of wanting to continue with the order knowing that after 7:30 the price is regular charge for the pupusa. Food tastes good however this place will not progress with the type of customer service they are providing. This people are not Salvadoras. They are rude!! read more

The food is amazing specially the "Desayuno típico" and the service has been very good as well, I would definitely recommend this place.

I did know they made the pupusas de queso y chicharrón different from others places i called to tell them that I've never had them made with chile and tomato and onions I was looking for better response from the restaurant, maybe an we are sorry that you didn't know that we make them different from other's here in the AV and how can I make your experience here with us better but nothing very cold and matter of fact thing, it was an experience mistake on my end for not asking , both my parents are from El Salvador and they never made them this way so I never thought to ask them if they added anything to their ingredients, I will not be returning here. read more

Husband is a construction worker. Him and his co-worker went in for lunch. Ordered the special. As soon as my husband said,"let's eat here so that we're not eating on the floor at work" the old woman yells at him that since he bought the special, he needs to leave right away. The disrespect. Customer Service is Awful. The food was pretty bad, they're never going again... read more

The pupusas are very good. No problem with the service, they are very polite. I read some reviews and most of them are about the employees/owners, but I think their food is good. Will continue to go there for pupusas and plátanos fritos. read more

The amount I paid for and the breakfast I received is not worth it. 2 platenos with the breakfast, really? And the beans and eggs mixed with chorizo lacked flavor. Do not recommend read more

I word... RUDE! I'm all about supporting small businesses. But this one has officially lost me. I was taking pupusas to my son for lunch. I had asked for 3 of them to be placed in a separate container. She said the minimum per container is 5.. well since I was ordering some for my family at home, fine I'll separate it myself. When it was ready she gave me 2 cortido and 1 salsa. Again, I'm dropping off 1 container somewhere else, I asked if I can get 1 more salsa. She said $3... ok. Well how about an extra ziplock bag I'll just separate it myself. She said no. The have stacks of styrofoam cups behind them. Can I get a small cup?! She rolls her eyes and asks the lady eating in the corner (I didn't even realize they worked there. )She rudely says you'll have to pay for it... $1.50! The lady I'm talking to answers the phone and rudely asks what I want to do?! I ask for the cup. I said I don't have a problem paying for it, I just needed something... I should have sensed the rudeness when I was originally ordering and she wouldn't separate 3 in a different container.. when they said oh and cash only! I get it you're hurting for cash but dang, don't be rude and roll your eyes. Pupusas were ok. But not worth my hassle. read more

We enjoyed the food, but the service was hit, or miss. In all honesty, it was mostly miss. When I was handed the credit card receipt, I could not miss the fact that there was no place to actually sign it. There was also no place to make a note of the tip. That's a real shame, because I would've tipped them. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the owner. I have been a loyal customer for the last 3 years. Always placing orders of minimum $50 or more. In the last two weeks I've spent $130 in this place. I called today to place an order an instead of taking my order the owner accused me of ordering a breakfast and not showing up for it. I have never placed and order and not showed up or paid for it. I told the owner your confusing me, she said let me verify the number. She very rudely took the call back and said give me your order. I asked her did you verify the number and see that it was not me, she said no I couldn't find it. At that point I told her I was very upset at her accusation knowing she wasn't sure. I will never come back here I've heard stories of her being rude but it never occurred till now. No vuelvo a regresar a este lugar! read more

These ignorant people tried to keep my moms food hostage until she gave up her ID info. They claim people have been calling up thier banks in an effort to get thier money back and keep the food and that they need info to back up thier claims incase she would do the same?? First of all thats why YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ASK FOR PIN NUMBERS!!! NOT ALWAYS RUN IT ON CREDIT!! you can see the realization on his face when I say this! They still dont accept this fact so they only hold our drinks hostage because apparently I realized that she had already paid and signed the reciept so at this point I say refund us our money or leave us alone, at that point they let us leave. Second experience like this with these people! read more

Lamentablemente la comida no esta buena esta simple y sin sabor y encima tienen mal servicio. Que lastima

The food here was delicious. We had pupusas and empanadas and were very tasty. It's so strange that you get charged more to eat in than for take out, so why not make it one price all across the board? Would I go back to this restaurant ? Yes. What's the food good? Yes What's the service good? Sort off read more

Great Central American food! The best in town that my family has found in 20 years. Their Tamales are the tastiest I've ever had. read more

Muy rica la comida. recomendado.

The food is decent, but the customer service is why I don't go back anymore. They take longer than what they tell you. They charge an extra fee whether you were doing takeout or eating there. Watch your recept and make sure of the charges. Apparently, they stopped taking cards and didn't say anything until we got there. Rudely offered the liquor store next door. read more

I don't think the server, or the cook have any idea when it comes to telling the timeframe of when the food would be ready. Be ready to wait another 30-45 minutes even if a time is given for when your food would be ready for pickup. read more

I only gave it 1 star cause i had to in order to post my review. This place sucks!!! Do not go there!!! The pupusas were burnt, tasted like burnt oil, my soup was nasty!! OMG and the service is the worst ever! I asked for my tortillas toasted and the woman at the register said"we dont do that here" i asked for extra patas and i was going to pay extra and again she said i had to purchase another soup to get what i wanted!!! Im paying u don't understand why it can't be done. NEVER COMING BACK AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. read more

Best pupusas in the AV!! I've been all over trying to find a pupusa that's just right and this place is it. They have ensalada drink which is sometimes hard to find in salvi restaurants, and is amazing. The interior of the restaurant isn't much, but that doesn't matter when the food makes up for it. You can order over the phone and pick up which is what I recommend. read more

The food was delicious and authentic. The papusas were so flavorful, *chef kiss*. And the staff was lovely and helpful. This is definitely the best Salvadorian spot in the AV. read more

The pupusas have a really good flavor, even the next day when I reheated them. I definitely go back

Before I begin, let me warn you that this "shopping center" is freaking sketch! I've witnessed drug transactions, homeless people loitering and cat fights.. Oh Lancaster! If you're from the area it's the norm, but if it makes you more comfortable just don't come alone. With that being said, the pupusas here are $1.25 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (as of Nov. 2015) and even though they are a little on the small side, they are freakin delicious! I ordered the Chicharron & Cheese ones & Revueltas (mixed meat, beans and cheese) and the family devoured them up! Personally, I favored the Chicharron and cheese ones... So delectable! The curtido (cabbage slaw) was the best I've had, but the red sauce was watery as hell lol. But I think every place that serves pupusas serves it with watery red sauce, maybe it's how it's supposed to be? Nevertheless, really great pupusas, the best I've had in the AV thus far! Even my Saldadorean husband approved. read more

Worst customer service ever, the owner or the employees are so rude. They don't even acknowledge you, don't greet you or say is everything ok. They don't even say hi to you, they just look at you like you are doing them a favor. I went there today I thought I would give this place a chance again but damm, the owner passed by me didn't even make eye contact or say hello. My last time here. I was the only person there no one was there and they made me feel Unwelcomed. read more

Best Salvadorian place here in the AV. By best, I mean it's authentic, the food is delicious, and all drinks and desserts as well. This is your go-to place! read more

The pupusas are the best!! The Curtido is also good. I've also had the ensalada and the empanadas de leche. The food is delicious. I ate once here and food took forever. Now I place the order over the phone and pick it up. Makes the wait time feel less longer. I also wish they gave more curtido with the pupusas. I definitely recommend this Salvador Ian restaurant just be ready for long wait. read more

Really bad attitudes by the two sister. They need to learn to to treat customers better. If you have a restaurant learn how to have respect for customers. Every time I go they always have there faces. No smile no reaction when people walk in. 5% if you use your credit card. No thanks... read more

I can't believe I've never stopped by this place. I wanted a tamale that taste like my grandmothers (Guatemalan) so I stopped in Dona Blanca. Wow! The tamale was right on time and so was the papusa. The horchata . Maybe I wasn't use to the taste. I didn't drink it but I still paid for it. The bottled Coca Cola worked perfectly fine. Everything was fresh and the servers were great. I thought I was going to have a hard time ordering because I don't speak Spanish but they understood me perfectly fine! I would recommend this place anytime. read more

Came here with some friends. I usually have super high expectations for authentic papusas let alone Salvadorian cuisine. Gotta say this place was SO GOOD and the owners were so nice. I came back the next day for some takeout before leaving town. read more

First I'm simply shocked by the comments about staff rudeness. I have eaten here many times and they have been nothing but kind, considerate and patient with me. I speak a tiny bit of, very bad, spanish and the ladies go out of their way to let me think I'm ordering in spanish. They never rush me and explain everything graciously. The food is so delicious and the prices so inexpensive, it is a very good value. The curtido has always been a generous amount for the amount of pupusas and the salsa is perfectly flavored and balanced. I'm grateful to have this wonderful restaurant so close to my home. Thank you ladies. read more

Alright so the lady's here can sometimes be a little aggressive. You just got to remember they're Salvadoran so that's how they are. Now if you want Pupusas, this is the place to buy them from. I like getting the Rebulta Pupusas(Bomb). If you want something to drink, make sure you get the Agua De Ensalada! It's amazing good! read more

The food is excellent, very well seasoned, but we always go eat there knowing we need to review the bill closely because they (almost) always overcharge. We always say we will not return, but today we wanted the food and this time they charged an extra $14. I don't understand the need to steal from customers. Each time we go the amount of extra charge is more. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is rude and confrontational and apparently they feel the need to overcharge to make up for the customers they lose to bad customer service. read more

Bad place to go to. Basically they barely put any cheese in their pupusas and the price is very high. Their yuca con chicharrón is the same, two or three pieces of chicharrón and yuca and very expensive. Attitude is very poor too. food was delicious & the place was clean . i had bean n cheese pupusas i will definitely come back to try more food and bring my family read more
