Starting with the next show (August 26) it's becoming Comedy Competition, with a different lineup for each show. Guests will vote for their favorite comedians, with cash prizes for the winners, plus half-off wine (yassssss). ZOOZ has a really sexy, cool cocktail-garden atmosphere that makes it a great place for a night out. Our server was very good, the food was good, and the cocktails were excellent. And the location at The Wharf is perfect--you can make a whole evening of it by grabbing dinner and drinks, catching the comedy show, then walking along the river, enjoying the swings on the pier, and taking in everything else the Wharf has to offer. He honestly thought we were being sarcastic when we weren't being sarcastic, and he apologized. I can understand the miscommunication. Great flavor and definitely something I would order again. My only issue with the tacos is how the ordering works. With the three-taco meal, all three tacos have to be the same flavor. Since it was our first time trying the food, I would've really liked the option to mix and match three different tacos. They do sell tacos individually, but at around $7.50-$8 each, buying three singles ends up costing considerably more than the three-taco meal, which was around $20. They also offer a larger variety pack, but you can't substitute any of the taco choices in that either. I think allowing customers to mix and match would make it much easier to try different things, especially on a first visit. Atmosphere-wise, it was cool and laid-back.
