Okay, this is a longer one but as an avid thrifter and experienced (and fair) reseller myself, I…read morethink that this place necessitates a particular conversation. My thoughts- I've stopped into Second Wind a few times over the years in search of gear/clothing for personal use, but have consistently walked away disappointed if not empty-handed because their pricing is exorbitant and stupidly inflated, and I have no shame in using that sort of verbiage. An example from today that caught me so off guard I did some research, subsequently leading me to writing this review- a heavily used & visibly stained/faded Patagonia vest listed at $115, which is $16 less than the retail price on Patagonia's own website ($131). In my opinion and personal experience, this is not an isolated case- a lot of their merchandise is significantly worn, sometimes even dirty, and still priced like it's barely been used. While I did find and purchase a cute pair of pants that were reasonably priced and in good shape today, it unfortunately doesn't negate the general pattern of overpricing. Selling gear in highly used and rough condition for near-retail prices undermines the whole point of secondhand shopping and if we're being honest, many locals have access to outdoor industry discounts that include the benefit of full warranties. Trying to resell deeply used gear at near-retail prices just feels exploitative in that context. Even online secondhand platforms like Depop tend to be far more equitably priced and transparent about quality. I'm all for supporting secondhand and local businesses, but not when it starts to feel greedy and borderline shady. Pricing like this erodes trust and defeats the purpose of resale. There are more transparent, affordable, and community-minded options out there-- please shop around.

Fantastic second-hand shop for all kinds of great outdoor gear. I scored a pair of swix xc gloves…read morefor $10!! As well as some lululemon leggings & carhartt sweatpants. This is my favorite place to hit up first anytime I come to Bozeman. I always find something amazing. Their boots & bottom layers selections are particularly good.

The store is everything outdoors on steroids (like Mark McGuire Sammy Sosa 1998 home run battle steroids)- hey, it was fun times! It is fun times at this store. It has everything a male or female from my perspective could want: bikes, hiking gear, skiing gear, camping, storage, camp cooking supplies, folks were talking the whole kit and caboodle. This specific store had great customer service during my visits here, during those visits I've purchased two pairs of hiking shoes, socks and hydration pack. During one visit they where hosting a yoga class. Go figure! The location is on the booming development side of town in Bozeman and there are plenty other shops and eateries. Its is outdoors and you need it you will find it here!

Not universal for me. USB-A would fit all my pwr sources. - And only one length: 3 ft. Other stores offer in various lengths. - And extortionate. Retail goes for significantly lower than $25. + Still, as it was the only nearby retailer to have a charger in stock ready to swipe off the shelf quick, I'm still grateful. + Pleasant ambience. + Ample parking. . Service speed is decent.
