Simms directed me to their West location of The River's Edge- across from the Simms Production Facility. We were greeted upon entry, but were given time and space to openly browse, which we always appreciate. All of the staff were warm and friendly. We asked for assistance to explore and try on various waders. I forewarned them that it was going to be quite the adventure. The salesman Jack, was totally awesome!!!! He took the time to listen to my positive 30 year history with my custom Simms waders as well as my current needs and preferences. This was not a 911, as my waders are still performing. It was more of a proactive possible purchase visit. Jack was extremely knowledgable, patient, and committed to helping me. He knows the product line and referenced the posted size charts. He remained personable and did not grow weary despite the number of waders he retrieved and repackaged. Jack also had me try on the available sample neoprene footies in various sizes. At his suggestion, we brought in both pairs of my wading boots. Sorry about the dried up gravel :0). With Jack's full support, I was able to leave with a pair of woman's G3 waders feeling fully satisfied that I was given the time, patience and attention that I needed. I am a very grateful lady!

From the owner: Tom had never built a rod when he purchased R.L. Winston in 1973, but over the course of 45 years,…read morehe became an icon in the fly fishing industry. Quite simply, Tom worked tirelessly in pursuit of building the perfect rod. While modern rod development has pursued increasingly stiffer rod designs, Tom worked hard to keep the same progressive action that he developed while at Winston. His rods possessed a smoothness and the light, lively feeling so prized by anglers worldwide. He sought designs that emphasized continuous taper blanks with a commitment to the importance of a sensitive tip. He added the best components he could find, from a carefully chosen group of suppliers committed to making he very highest quality products. To this mix he added a unique commitment to traditional design and fine craftsmanship, it is true that the the whole of a finished Morgan rod is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
