Located along North Shore Drive between Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park where there are lots of other food/drink options. Parking was free and easy nearby on the street as there were no events (or games) in the area. Voodoo Brewing is generally self serve, as you sit where you want and order (and pay) via QR Code link to a website. The staff brings you the food and drink after you have ordered them. They have a good assortment of beer...something for everyone. The beer was fresh and reasonably-priced. There were also some good food options....I was pleasantly surprised with the smoked wings. The environment is great with lots of great wall art around. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Lots of beer to take home (cans) as well as merch for purchase near the entrance.

Getting a kids Mac and cheese was two bowls of Mac and cheese. They offered to charge my phone so six stars. Everyone was super nice. It was a great atmosphere for our group. Drinks were good. The bathrooms were clean.

A group of us visited this location for trivia Tuesday. We showed up about an hour to trivia and were easily able to grab a table that fit 6 of us. The bartenders were attentive and friendly, even though you order through QR code at the table. They continued to bring us full pitchers of water and clearing our plates as we went. We ordered a good selection of the menu including tacos (2/$8 on Tuesday), the pub pretzel, loaded fries, pork nachos, quinoa salad, boneless wings, and probably more I'm forgetting. I have visited here previously, probably 3 years ago now, and I feel like this visit was significantly better/more enjoyable. The food and trivia really made for a better experience. I love the green sour, the lakto cooler, and it lived up to the hype this time too. The pub pretzel was huge, hot, and soft. Loved the beer cheese that came with it. If I could go back in time, I'd order two of the pork taco and pass on the chicken. Personal preference, but I didn't like the sweet BBQ sauce on the chicken taco and much preferred the spice and vinegar flavor on the pork one.

First, what a great surprise! We found a table outside overlooking the riverwalk and it was awesome. Nice breeze too! All tables had a QR code to order your own food and drinks, which were fairly promptly delivered to your table. Help yourself to water which was available to pour yourself. The drinks were AMAZING!! I got the margarita slush and wow, soooo good! The wings were decent, a bit overcooked but still good overall. Also had the gluten free pepperoni pizza and was absolutely fantastic! The crust was one of the best i have had! Thank you for offering gluten free options!!! Highly recommend this place, oh! And live music, mellow and was so enjoyable!

I like Voodoo as a pre-game spot, it seems to be one of the last ones to fill up. It's all open seating indoors and out and you order via QR code at your table. We were able to grab a couple seats at the bar most recently and the service was pretty good despite how busy it got. The cheesesteak is delicious!!! We didn't love the buffalo chicken dip, it probably would have been better with shredded chicken instead of huge chunks of chicken. They have good beer selection as well as a house cocktail menu. I was excited to try to Oh Mama collab with the Styx but didn't think it was very good.

Taylor Swift cocktail specials

We were here on Taylor Swift weekend so spirits were high and we were very excited. We came here before the show for a drink and a bite to eat as they were having a Taylor Swift event and celebration. They had a TS themed menu, her music was play outside, live band playing her music on the inside, local radio was there, the list goes on. It was a very fun time!!!! We expected really slow service with everything going on, but it wasn't slower or faster than normal, which was a big plus! All of our cocktails were TS themed - "lavender haze cocktail" etc. We all go different ones and they were all delicious. I ordered the Spicy Salmon bowl and it was filled with a lot of flavor, I loved it!! The only bad thing about it was that it was a TINY bowl for $16 I expected something a little bigger. I was still very hungry after it so I ordered fries and ate all of them myself. My friends split a pretzel, fries, and wings and they all really enjoyed their meals as well. While we were there, we realized that there was also a Voodoo brewery in Cleveland - we had no idea and plan on visiting their other location when we are back home!

I really am not a fan of not having a server for the table to take orders and check up on the table. if you needed to ask for something extra (ketchup, etc) then it was pretty impossible. You order through their QR code (ToastTab) which was pretty efficient though. Drinks came out very quickly after placing. Bacon blue burger 8/10 No option for a cook on the patty. It came out between med/med-rare though, tiny pink. Might also have been a frozen patty, not sure. All of the toppings come on the side (lettuce, tomato, onion). Pickles are amazing. Homemade I think. Tons of blue cheese on here, wish they were a tiny bit melted. Some parts of the bacon was a bit to hard. But mostly not bad. I was nervous I wouldn't like the bun, they didn't have a regular bun, but it actually was just fine! Chips 10/10 Really good. They're seasoned pretty well, almost tastes like there's a tiny bit of sugar on them with the salt. Big easy cheesy 9/10 It's like a cheesy garlic bread I think. Not really a pizza, besides the shape. Good flavors though! Reminds me of white pizza minus the onion and tomato (which would be great on here also!) Roasted garlic pesto is pretty good flavors too!

I came here for lunch on a Saturday. The place was nearly empty with the exception of a few tables. I had the IPA and Belgian Wit. Nothing really stood out to me with the beer and it was average at best. Beertenders were talking with each other the whole time, didn't really have a chance to ask any questions. I had the meat pizza and again- looks fantastic but it was average.

Food: Meh. Portions are small for what you pay for. Service: nonexistent. We placed our orders on our phones and they got tossed on our tables. Drinks: good. The taste of my mule was good for a hot day. Bathrooms: GROSS. It looks like a Swiftie exploded in here three days ago. Disgusting stuff on the walls, glitter all over the floor, no paper towels and bins all over flowing. Will probably not be back. Happy Eating, but probably elsewhere.

Voodoo Brewing has a few locations around Pittsburgh, and they sell their beer in local distributors and bars!  Checked out their North Shore location.  A large variety of craft beers are on tap and in cans at their brewpub.  They have year-round beers, seasonal offerings as well as spontaneous releases!  On top of a large variety of beers, they also have fun and delicious signature cocktails and mocktails ranging from a Steelers themed cocktail to a Manhattan, a hot apple cider or hot toddy on a cold day or a nonalcoholic Kamikaze!  They have a QR code you scan and order from, the staff is very attentive and helpful if you need assistance! Their food varies from starters, to wings, pizzas, sandwiches, salads- everything looking amazing and making it hard to decide.  Tried the Voodoo Love Child Beer, their pub pretzel, pulled pork nachos, pepperoni pizza & fresh cut fries! Everything was easily shareable and so delicious! Really enjoyed the pulled pork nachos, made with their house smoked pork's good vibes beer cheese, fresh fried tortilla chips, topped with lime sour cream, pickled jalapeños, diced tomatoes, cilantro and fresh BBQ salsa! Wow!

Boneless wings - on special Wednesdays

Voodoo is a consistently good choice. They're one of the only spots with a nice view of the river and plenty of outdoor/indoor seating. You can walk up to the bar for service but they also utilize a QR code system at the tables. I like being able to keep a running tab on my phone and the drinks and food get delivered to the table pretty quickly. They have some great beers and a good variety of styles. There are also gluten free options and cocktails. We most recently tried the newish wing night special--boneless wings for $0.50 each! Each order of 6 wings was just $3 but you can order a pretty high number of wings at once if you want to. They were really good. We also split some truffle fries. Definitely recommend if you're on the north shore and looking for good bites and drinks.

Good Vibes and Blackberry Ginger margarita
Robert Z.

It's good but could be better. The "order on your own with the phone scan" is weird and if it don't work properly, your experience will not go well. The drinks were very good and moderately priced. The location is excellent. We ate the boneless dry rub wings and the Good Vibes beer and the Blackberry ginger margarita.

The whole space-themed concept makes it feel like an experience, not just a night out. The vibes are fun, a little quirky, and perfect if you want something outside the usual bar scene. The drinks are delicious, creative, and honestly just as cool to look at as they are to drink. Definitely one of those places I'd go back to again. When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

I've heard so many mixed things that I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. It kind of has dive bar vibes but the food and drink options are definitely on the elevated side. They open at 4 on Sundays and I got there around 4:15. It was already pretty busy (and by the time I was leaving, every single table and bar stool were occupied). They have standard booth seats along the windows, hightop tables in the middle and bar seating along the bar that curves along the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar since I was by myself. I was promptly greeted by the bartender. They don't hand you copies of the menu, you have to scan the QR code to access. It is easy to read and follow with sections for drinks, specials (this time they were Wicked themed as a nod to the show at the Benedum) and a sushi section. I ordered the street corn dip. The chips were a bit overcooked and the dip was just OK. I thought it was pricey for what you got. The star of my meal, though, was the patty melt. It had the burger, a bacon jam, caramelized onions and was absolutely delicious! It was served with fries. I considered ordering sushi but wasn't sure what to expect. The patrons sitting on either side of my ordered rolls and they were a nice size and looked delicious, so that is something I would consider ordering in the future. It was a place I'll likely be back to because of the proximity to the theater (although their prices definitely reflect that). Just note how crowded it always is and give yourself plenty of time if you plan on heading here for dinner before the show.
