I can not even give this horrible location a 1 star but I have to I order to post my review. Every time I shop here the employees are RUDE. I'm feed up with this location to the point that I am going to file a complaint with their District Manager. How is it that this store chargers the prices they charge and have the audacity to treat the people the way they do. If they didn't have shoppers they wouldn't have a job. I went in there today and the old man that was working at register 5 didn't even give me eye contact not one time. I had to say hello to him first. He didn't ask if I had a VONS card number. He did not tell me my total. I had to look at his monitor to see my total for myself. Which took me a few seconds to figure out because I wasn't sure if he needed to push a button for my total to decrease. After I waited I realized he couldn't care less to tell me my total so I swiped my card. After that, my receipt printed. He was SOOOOOOOO busy looking straight ahead. I had to ask for my own receipt. Like really ?? I mine as well scanned my own products. I'm starting to believe that whoever is running this location clearly doesn't gives a care how his location is ran. This has not been the first time I have experienced a rude cashier at this location. Like come on. I shop at other grocery locations and I don't have a bad experience. Walmart employees are friendly, Albertsons, even Stater bros. And Trader Joe's gives excellent service. I think management need to start to mimic these other locations or reach out to see what they are doing and copy their best practices. It shouldn't be that hard to to slide some food across a scanner and push a couple buttons with a damn smile. But Register 5 old guy was sure happy smiley with the older white lady that Checked out right before me. I guess you have to be light skinned to be treated with excellent service at this location. If you read this just drive past a couple exits away to stater Brothers or Trader Joe's. Believe me it's worth it. read more

This Vons does not wipe there carts after being put aside back in the corner before you walk in... I suggest you bring hand sanitizer with you ! Gross gross disgusting. You have 1,000 of people shopping every day .... Lots and lots of germs ! read more

I just used the restroom here and I saw an employee exit the toilet stall, totally skip the sinks and walked straight out of the bathroom. I was leaving the store so I followed and he literally went straight to bagging a customers groceries, so disgusting. read more

With the coronavirus going on I respect the fact that everyone has to wear a mask . The employees are very polite. Last time I went they had a station with hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes to clean the carts . It can be expensive but I love the clean environment especially during these times read more

It's a large roomy store with a nice variety of fruits and vegetables. The wine selection is nice. The micro brewery selection is very small. One would think with all the great craft brew destinations in Southern California, they would stock more. Two things I did notice on this visit was the customer service and paging. I have never been in a Vons where they did a lot of paging on the over head. It was not bothersome but I guess I never paid it much attention before. The second thing was staff asking me if I needed any help finding anything. Two different staff members asked within a couple of minutes if I needed any assistance finding anything. Generally, I like this Vons & its employees. But it has a major problem, tons of out of date products. From coffee to yogurt to salad dressing & much more, I regularly find expired products. Today, and I didn't look too deep, 4 bottles of the salad dressing I wanted were expired - one dating back 11 months! The store manager is not directing & checking that his stock people check expiration dates. The county should bust this store for having so much old food. This happens across all departments - but especially center aisle (package goods) and dairy. read more

It's funny that I'm even writing a review for a grocery store, so here we go... I moved into the area last year, and because we're so isolated from anything else I am left to shop at this store. The first thing I noticed is their prices are ridiculously high. I know Vons has a reputation for being more expensive, but I've concluded from my many visits that they are hiking prices up because they know they can due to the residents inability to go anywhere else. Secondly, their management has horrible product placement. Nothing seems to be where you'd think it would be. I'm not sure if this is mandated by corporate, but my suggestion is to get in line with every other store and how they organize their products. And for the final and most annoying thing yet, their checkout. They NEVER have enough lanes open even when you see people waking around the registers with a dumbfound look on their faces. They let the lanes get very long, and it seems like management couldn't care less. Of all the times this has happened (50+) maybe once or twice have they opened up more lanes. I don't want to stand in line for an additional 10 minutes for one product just to finally have my turn with a very unfriendly staff. Get self-checkout already....... I have never liked a store less in my entire life, and hopefully as Temescal Valley gains more business I have the option to go elsewhere. I look forward to the day! read more

Overpriced and not a lot of variety. I live close to this Vons but I do not always find everything I am looking for. Oyster sauce is just one example. In fact, I'm never asked if I have found everything I am looking for. It's a small Vons and very limited. Stater Bros is my go to even though I have to travel further out but at least I know I'll pretty much find what I need and if I don't the cashier will almost always ask if I have found everything I am looking for. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. You know we last week alone went shopping 4 times so much so the clerk remembered and made a joke about it spending in total about 500. I was promised a refund on a bad fruit platter from an out of town store and Angie at this location was insulting and rude and basically said since its 15.99 they wont do it. I was told they would be more then happy to take care of me and Angie said no that's not true. So I get to eat their bad product because it's too much money, well ya tell me about it. Vons and Albertsons have lost my service as well as my family's. I'm disappointed in the way I was treated. I suggest you find a supervisor that cares about the customer and is better at math. Went to the deli department to get service. First crew member send me to another crew member and then that crew member send me back to the first one. Seems like no one didn't want to work today. Its not my fault. I came to order my food and leave. Very unpleasant very rude experience. Will not come here again. Self checkout out was very uneasy I was told by the staff to get an a line that did not exist. Please train crew members to be more professional. If the the employee is stress it does not give them the right to take it out on customers. Overall, this has been the worst Vons shopping experience. In my two months of living in the community, I've always had good experiences here with all the staff... except for tonight with the night staff. The only register that was open had two employees slowly ringing up a cart of random items while socializing... it seemed like the younger employee was buying personal items. They kept chatting amongst themselves while my ice cream sat on the belt. I asked if this lane was open and Lee, the older cashier, didn't even make eye contact with me when he said yes. He kept on socializing with the coworker, talking about night shifts. The younger coworker was complaining about having just ten hours between shifts and an hour drive. Then there was chatter about being night shift inventory now and blah blah blah. Point in going into all that detail is that for five minutes while they were having a bro moment and me learning about their lives, my ice cream was sitting on the counter melting, with me just looking at them and trying to make a point by standing closer. I can understand their frustrations with work and their desire to socialize with each other, but for crying out loud, you're ON THE CLOCK AND A CUSTOMER IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!!! Be thankful to have A JOB and RESPECT IT WITH SOME WORK ETHIC!!! Phew... had to get that off my chest. I'm refraining giving a one star since otherwise I've had good experiences here. A Vons, or any grocery store in south corona!!!! This one is nice well laid out. They have a gas station with the lowest prices in Corona. The dry cleaning is quick and great prices. They have a Starbucks with a huge wait. A pharmacy, and the pharmacist even took some time with us when we were transferring our prescriptions. Okay, cheap gas and short lines?? Who could possibly complain about this? I dropped by on my way out of town and loved that gas was $2.59 while every other place was ranging around $2.89-$2.99. I dig the deals you get from the new 'just for u' program. It gives you the opportunity to use digital coupons as well as receiving deals on items that you purchase on a regular basis. As far as the store itself, very neat and clean. Easy to navigate and find items. Most of the employees are nice, except for a few that i have come across. As a former Albertsons Starbucks Certified Department Manager (12 years) I was terribly disappointed in the improperly made drink I was given, along with the rude customer service I received. The young, short black hair, glasses, tattoos that rudely took my drink order wasn't wearing a name tag. I came in at 1pm Sunday 7/12/20 and they coffee bar was staffed with 3 Baristas. The other dark haired girl (taller & thin) that made my drink, used way too much ice and used the bottom of the ice scoop to smash up the ice to make it fit in the shaker cup. I had a very easy drink to make, non blended, yet people that ordered after me, received their drinks first. I watched my half made drink sit half made on the counter for almost 10 minutes. These ladies need to get their act together. Not one girl, greeted me, made me feel welcome or said thank you. I will think twice about returning to this substandard location. read more

I like this Vons. They're always open on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas in case you need some last second ingredients for dinner. There aren't any other grocery stores around but prices are fair read more

Vons always has great service...if you are going to get may ask for sean he is the best meat guy. I have seen other meat guys tell lies like this meat is the best price I've seen in a while when it was super cheap last week. The floral lady is also very helpful...ask her for anything you need in the produce as she is usually in that area. read more

We just moved here from Fontana. There isn't much around here...and really this is the only gas station within a few miles. After the move, we hit up the Von's so we can have some food in the house...then figured we'd fill up while we were there. To our surprise, we had earned 10 cents off per gallon just because we shopped at the Vons...which is the only choice we have here anyways. So the already low priced gas station just gave us an additional discount? Heck yeah! Guess we will be getting all of our gas here now! Stopped by today again at their little convenience store inside to get a drink. I was greeted by a nice lady inside that offered info on their Vons Club program and how exactly it works. 5 stars for the checkers and butchers always nice, minus 4 for the management, this has to be the worst managed store I have ever been in. Always have to check dates as I'm always finding items very close to their sell by date. Yesterday I stood at the deli counter for 15 minutes along with 3 other customers. There was 4 people working the sandwich area and everybody was ignoring the chicken and cold cut area, not any acknowledgment or eye contact. We all left, 1 person left their whole cart. The bathrooms are a disgrace almost as bad a old abandoned gas station in the desert. TP on the floor, out of butt gaskets, soap dispenser empty and paper towel dispenser broken and hanging on the wall, it has been like this for 3 years that I know of. Can't wait until they have competition on the other side of the freeway. We only pick up misc items at Vons for full orders we drive to Stater Bros. read more

If you're a commuter on the 15 freeway, this gas station can be a life saver! I used to work at the Vons station in Murrieta and this one is waaay better... they actually carry public bathrooms, diesel fuel, newspapers, a large fridge selection, and possibly beer? Pumps are also much nicer, and if I can also remember, I believe they can take cash outside? The obvious down side is that this place can get really packed too and getting in and out isn't as easy as you think it'd be. Use cash/debit for the lowest price gas! read more

Thank you, Bakery Department!...for coming through with a Princess Cinderella cake [princess doll in the middle and the dress is the edible cake] made to order in less than 24 hours! Had a birthday party for my daughter on Saturday noon time, but did not know princess cakes existed until the night before (well long after the bakery closed at 7 pm). Called at least 5 or 6 Vons stores that night, and no-one could guarantee making the princess cake. Called back some 3 Von's bakeries at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning, and they could not do it. Then, I found this Von's bakery - whose staff went the extra mile to make the impossible possible! They had the cake ready at 10:40 AM (they usually need a 24-hour notice at least). My daughter's birthday party was a success because we could proudly display the beautiful and delicious Cinderella Princess cake at the premiere of the Cinderella movie and a Princess Cinderella (from Charming Princesses Parties based in Temecula) showed up to spend the time together! Now for the Vons Gas station at Sycamore Creek. The staff here at their station are truly wonderful and certainly pleasant all of the times my Wife and I have been there. At least 40 times considering we live in this area. They know our Jeep and our three classic cars and every time they see us they are completely friendly even from day one. Gas prices are dependent on the method of payment that you have and certainly cash and debit get you the best price and make sure to bring your Vons or Pavilions card to ensure the discount. Alright back to the associates..... they are super sweet and welcoming and Male or Female, they are perfectly nice. I wish this customer service would also carry on to the store staff. Checking out tonight and I overhear the manager (lady with really short blonde hair and glasses) tell an associate, who was helping bag a customers groceries, to take go backs back. He said "sure, I will" she responds with "NOW!" Not a please, not a no problem... after you are done with that customer, but a NOW!!! So he stops bagging the customers groceries and takes the go backs! So then the cashier had to finishes bagging the groceries when there were already lines... like ALWAYS! Are you freakin serious right now?!! How is that more important than customer service! And how is it ok to talk to associates like that!?! Disgusting behavior!!! read more

Usually good choices on beers, but deli isn't the best. Ordered some chicken tenders and almost broke a tooth on how dried out and old they were. Must have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Next time I will definitely avoid. But a plus is that they usually have a sushi chef present on the weekend making fresh rolls. Very happy with the Bakery for giving us an adorable birthday cake! I requested a simple design. They took my "idea" I submitted to them, and made it even better than I imagined. I am impressed with them being "just a grocery store" bakery, and will continue to request custom orders in the future. The cake was delicious to boot.
