I needed a strawberry shortcake for my sister's birthday and I looked everywhere. Thankfully I found the perfect one at Ralph's if all places. Their service was impeccable and they made it fun to buy a cake. The ambiance was fun. Hands down this was one of the best cakes I've eaten in my life!!!! I recommend Ralph's for desert options. Friday evening mind you beginning of the weekend. First I go to their whiskey selection if you want to call it that. No Proper 12 apple flavor, so let's try Crown Royal apple or peach. All they have is the mega bottle ‍ . Next I'm on my E bike and they don't have bicycle lock up racks ‍ and finally the obvious one way exit by the new car charging station people driving the opposite and Ralph's won't paint arrows on the ground or put up signs but come on all the cars are parked in one direction. Poorest managed Ralphs in the area. Employees are not riendly or helpful - evening - night shift. Seems like they allow homeless to loiter and ask for money, complained to Ralph's Manager - Samantha about a very aggressive transient asking for money, right outside their store, she said she can't do anything. I said call the police, she sarcastically said they might show up in an hour and went about her business. Prior visit she refused to help with an item pricing issue, ended up leaving and going to Staters. I had to call the police and they arrived in about 18 mins looking at what time I called. Security at this shopping center doesn't seem to try to mitigate this panhandling and homeless issue. Better off going across the street to Staters, that shopping center doesn't have homeless harassing you for money. Seems like their security in that shopping center really keeps it under control. Ralphs and the center they're in need to get better security and Store Management. read more

If I could give store a zero, I would. All of the staff is unfriendly less the butchers and produce guys. Unhelpful cashiers and they harass you. Profiled as a shoplifter no matter how hard you attempt to mind your business and cause no trouble. read more

Use their app and clip their coupons. I like that their app also can scan barcodes and tell you the prices (in case something is on sale or clearance). Self -checkout available. They do have a restroom but needs a code. One time they were a little rude and my Dad struggled to get the code from them for the bathroom. But otherwise, they have some deals sometimes. Produce usually pretty fresh and expiration dates are further out than groceries from a couple other nearby supermarkets. read more

This review is for the two Starbuck workers today! They were so pleasant and all smiles - made my day just to be in their presence. Valuable employees are tough to find these days and when someone enjoys the work they do....it shows. They were attentive and helpful and provided excellent customer service. Even when we spilled one of our drinks - The staff Jordi and Brianna were quick to make a new drink while laughing with us and joking about our blunder. Their produce, meat selection, seasonings selections is exceptional. I am not one to usually leave a review, but my wife and I experienced some behavior that we deemed unnecessary from one of the employees. My wife and I were in self checkout not using any bags because we left them in the car. My wife noticed that one of the employees was hovering around the area we were at. This lady was probably around her 50's and had a tattoo on her right arm. I didn't catch her name tag. I was scanning our items and I had asked for assistance since I had scanned an extra item by accident. No problem at all. I was paying attention to scanning my groceries and I paid for my groceries. I got my receipt and as I grabbed it, the employee grabs some of my groceries and asks, "did you scan for these?" My wife tells her that they are all scanned. The lady ignores my wife and my wife tells me to show her the receipt. I then ask the employee "would you like to see my receipt?" And the employee says "I trust you," and then we leave. At first glance there's not a lot that is wrong but to put it bluntly, I'm a white guy and my wife is Hispanic. She has darker skin. My wife noticed another Hispanic lady behind us at self checkout and she nicely greeted the employee. The employee bluntly states "fine." And coldly walks away. My wife observed this, and the hovering around our cart as we checked out. From my wife's observations and the lack of addressing her as a person, it felt almost like a micro aggression and didn't sit well with my wife, since my wife tried to tell her we had paid for all of our items, but didn't address us at all until I spoke for us both. It was frankly unprofessional and we will probably not be returning to this Ralphs. We did like everything else in the store - this one employee just turned the experience sour and we'll probably be going to Stater Bros next time. read more

On March 27th I ordered a bunch of food (cookies and 2 big Fruit trays, etc) for a baby shower.. Everything was so delicious. So I decided to order my meal for Easter: Cesar salad, chicken salad sandwich croissants, fruit tray, sushi tray, cheese tray and cookies.. The fruit was so sour and some odd tasting people didn't eat it and all my cookies were burnt and hard as a rock so also were not eaten. When arrived to pick up I had to keep telling them what I ordered because they kept forgetting items, do they not have a list. I normally order from Albertsons but thought I'd give Ralph's a try.. On 27th everything was good and on Easter it didn't even taste like I ordered from the same place.. Unsure about what I picked, I asked Dino (at the time I did know his name) if this wine was sweet cus she likes the sweet stuff. He proceeded me to give me tips about wine, took me to the wine isle and helped me pick out something better. Horrible customer service!! Bought 2 pkgs of corn on the cob, Crawfish and other stuff for Mothers Day Dinner. Crawfish was precooked and flavorless, buy wasn't expecting much, they are really hard to find. But the corn on the cob was spoiled and rotten!!! Opened the pkg and the kernels were mushy and it stuuuunk!!! Wife took back 1 package and the rest of the 2nd package that I had opened and threw away the packaging. Management would NOT refund the corn without the original packaging even though we had the original reciept!! Not sure why, but the wife came home, dug through the trash and found the 2nd packaging and went back for the $6.99 gift card!!!! Yes, not refunded back to my card, not cash, STORE CREDIT!!!! SmH Our family has been in Riverside since the 1920s, we've never liked Ralphs, prices are always too high, but you'd expect a higher quality. . .not anymore!!! Stater Bros or Northgate Gonzales, heck, I thing Maxi food might have better quality and better customer service. Extremely disappointed in the floral department at ralph's. I bought a huge bouquet of their new wooden flowers for mother's day and they were wrapped beautifully, however the paper they were wrapped in wasn't meant to stay around these flowers forever. The paper was tightly bound at the bottom so i couldn't see how the stems looked, all i saw was beautiful red wooden roses and wood branches sticking out the top. When i unwrapped the flowers to put them in a vase on display for my mom i saw that the roses were glued to wooden dowels instead of what you'd think would look like a stem. What was supposed to be a beautiful wooden bouquet for mother's day now looks so cheap and out of place. these wooden dowels should be seen for the customers incase they want to put them in a vase like you TYPICALLY do with flowers. I thought the idea of roses that never die , especially for someone who has lost their mother was the sweetest idea until i saw them out of the package. I should have gone to hobby lobby and made them myself. Extremely disappointing that I spent $40.00 on this. read more

Between the high prices, expired food products and lack of actual cashiers, today was the day that I was followed around by loss prevention. I've shopped here for the last 10 years, buying weekly groceries for a household of 4. Spent a pretty penny but somehow my tattoos triggered the loss prevention to follow me around the bread aisle. Meanwhile the local homeless community walks out with fistfuls of liquor. Talk about profiling. I promise you Ralph's, if I can spend thousands on tattoo ink, I can afford bread. Do better. Heads up on a predatory sales tactic for anyone buying nutrition bars. They have a sale going on right now where if you buy 30$ worth of nutrtion bar type goods you get 10$ back. However, many of the items are priced at 9.99 so you have to buy 4 items to get the savings. I just checked out and was told that even though I bought essentially 30$ worth of goods. Because I was 3 pennies off before tax it didn't count. Kind of a scummy thing to do. read more

They have a dairy, bakery, deli, and meat department as well as a pharmacy, Coinstar, Lotto machine, ATM machine, and lastly, they have a U.S. Bank right inside the store. I come here often and appreciate their selection of items. I can find specialty items like Boars Head meats, awesome cheeses, cured meats, nuts and an amazing olive selection. There are a few cheeses I took a chance on and I'm so glad I did! Their selection on some items has been a little low but I understand the supply chain issues. The store seems to be clean as well. I also get all my prescription medicines here. The staff is super nice and will attend to you quickly. This will continue to be my go to grocery store. read more

I used to love the freshly prepared sushi rice bowls at this Ralph's. Until I recently discovered that they started putting half the amount of rice in theirs bowls and adding shredded lettuce instead? I realized the lettuce bulked up the bowl to look fuller. Absolutely love coming to Ralph's, foot traffic inside the store is always nice & smooth. I sometimes get really bad social anxiety but I usually visit the store in the morning before 1pm. Love the great selection from fruits & vegetables to the meat department. Cashiers are always very friendly & courteous. The deli is the WORST! There's a guy that's always in the back ignoring customers and being lazy as usual. An older lady that is slow and unhelpful as well. The employees on the day shift are the worst of the shifts, extremely SLOW and non customer service oriented. People leave the line all the time due to long waits. The La Sierra location needs to clean house immediately! It's sad when Walmart deli is better than a grocery store. Avoid this deli if you can, it's a time waster. read more

Compared to other markets I have been to around the area, this Ralphs is one of my favorites. Clean, convenient and friendly, I usually stop by for snacks, ice cream, food or simply just to walk around. Everything is nicely organized inside and the store is bright and well lit. There is a self checkout as well, which is perfect if you're only buying an item or two and want to skip the lines. There usually isn't a line when I'm here, but even when there is the line moves quick. The cashiers are friendly and sometimes try to help you out with coupons. Really appreciate that. They're also open until 1am, but by 7:30pm or so the store closes off the produce side of their doors and leaves one side open (for safety purposes). I come late at night sometimes, but have never felt unsafe walking to and from my car (can't say the same for other markets/stores around here). There's also a friendly security guard who stands by the entrance and outside to keep watch. read more

I will never EVER order another cake from this bakery. I ordered online. The party was a Unicorn theme. So when I looked through the online catalog of cakes under "themed" or "specialty" I found the perfect cake. The pics below are what they have online (what I ordered) and the mess that I picked up.
